The Tale of Two worlds : Realms Unveiled

Celia’s POV

“So let me ask you something first. Are you a transferee from Earth or a native of this planet?”[Atul]

The atmosphere, which had been lighthearted until now, suddenly became burdened with a heavy weight as the Old man’s question lingered in the air.

The directness of his inquiry caught me off guard, and I blinked, unsure of how to respond.

As I swallowed a bite of food, I made eye contact with the old man, while thinking to myself whether I should and truthfully or not. But after a little hesitation, I decided to answer him truthfully.

“I… I’m a transferee from Earth,”[Celia]

I replied hesitantly to the old man, feeling a surge of nervousness flutter in my chest.

“I came here as part of the third batch of transfers.”[Celia]

The old man, on hearing my answer, nodded thoughtfully. For a moment, silent stretched between us.

But then the old man spoke, breaking the silence.

“No need to be so nervous, girl. It’s not a bad thing or like. I just wanted to make sure.”[Atul]

“Well, If it helps you, I am a transferee too. I was part of the second batch.”[Atul]

The old man, seeing me nervous, tried to console me.

Huh, wait a minute. Did he just said he is a transferee too?

“Huh, were you?,”[Celia]

But before I could ask him a question, he stopped me by signaling with his hand and continued speaking.

“Well, if you were a native I would have just escorted you to a nearest town. But now I can’t just live with you like this now?”[Atul]

Well, that’s true, at the very least I should get a little knowledge about this world before I enter a town.

“So what will you do now?”[Celia ]

I asked the old man, hoping that he will answer by saying that he will teach me the basic about living this world.

“Now, well, Its upto you. If you want, after your recovery I could escort you to the nearest town or I can train you to go there by yourself while also teaching you some common knowledge of this world.”[Atul]

Jackpot.

“But only if you want. So you ready?”[Atul]

“Yes. Please be my sensei, I promise I will pay you back this debt.”[Atul]

I answered to old man’s question with enthusiasm.

“Ok then, from tomorrow you training will begin. As for today, just go back to sleep after eating.”[Celia]

After saying this, the old man and I continued our dinner and finished it. During dinner he also told me that I will have to stay for 3 months at the very least unlike the previously planned 3 to 4 week now if i want to learn enough things so that my life in the city goes smoothly.

Seeing me having finished my food, the old man stood up from chair and slowly provided water to me to wash my hand and then supported me till I reached the room and lay down on the bed.

Seeing him going out of the room, I said good night to him.

“Good night”[Atul]

He replied and like that the day ended, some problem occurred but all good that end good, right?

With excitements for tomorrow in my heart, I closed my eyes and went to the world of dreams.

“What is with these books? Didn’t you say we were gonna train today?”[Celia]

Next day after waking up I, for the first time in 4 days or so, freshen up by myself.

Being called by the old man, I went downstairs and then me, the old man and his owl, ate the breakfast.

Finishing our breakfast, i stood up from my sit to go back to the room when suddenly the old man asked me if I was ready for the training.

Seeing the moment I have been waiting for since last night so close to me, I got so excited that I shouted in front of an old man and hurt my injuries a little.

Seeing me this excited, the old man make a face of appreciation, but Vayu also made the same face for some reason.

But who cares about that? Today I am going to use my skills for the first time in fighting. With the old man’s help, I will also raise their level. Damn, I am so excited or so were my thoughts 15 minutes before.

As for right now, I was sitting on a table with a mountain of books kept on it.

In front of me Vayu, I mean sensie, was lecturing me about some of the common knowledge of the world.

“So always remember doesn’t matter what happen never, I mean never fight against an official of the council.”[Vayu]

Vayu-sensei said in a very serious tone, but shouldn’t you tell me the reason too, instead of warning me like that, you know people never heed them?

“Yes sensei”[Celia]

I replied unenthusiastically.

“My student, do you have any problems?”[Vayu]

“Yes, sensei, a wicked old man cheated on me. He first promised me that he will train me, but then he betrayed me and left me with a teacher who is a devil in owl skin.”[Vayu]

I still remember how he brought me into this room and was laughing when I told him that I thought he was gonna train me on fighting against the monsters and helping me master my skill.

“Well, you see my student. Seeing it from the teacher’s point of view, he also probably didn’t want to teach a rude, obnoxious and dumb student like you buy he is right, so how about you cooperate a little too?”[Vayu]

“And as for your training with Atul, he will train you, but after your injuries recovered completely. Until then, this owl is all you have in the name of a teacher.”[Vayu]

Vayu-sensei said to me a sarcastic tone, but as he reached the last part of his speech, his tone changed into a little that of a caring one.

“So where were we?”[Vayu]

Vayu sensei asked this while looking at the ceiling, trying to remember.

“Never mess with council official.”[Celia]

“Oh yes, like I was saying, you should never mess with a council official. The council handles everything here and messing with a council official is equal to messing with the council itself. Always remember doesn’t matter what happen never mess with a council official.”[Vayu]

Vayu sensei repeated his previous warning and continued with his lecture. Vayu sensei’s teaching style was a very entertaining one. Once I started listening, I lost the track of time and before I knew 4 hours had already passed.

“Well, look at the timing. It’s already 3 p.m. “[Vayu]

“Well, that’s all for today. You wanna watch cartoons with me?”[Vayu]

Feeling somehow sleepy, I refused sensei’s offer and went back to my room to lie on the bed and take a quick nap.

But isn’t this world quite different from what those scientists said it will be?

8 different planets, all connected through a portal. Two different suns. 8 different species of natives.

This is really a different world. Isn’t it?
