Chapter 52: Only You, Onii-chan
“Ah, An…? What do you—”
“Onii-chan… don’t say things like that.”
“…Huh?”
What came from An, her eyes and expression unusually dark, was a voice that matched her mood.
I was almost distracted by her dark expression and tone for a moment.
But then, from An’s words, “Don’t say things like that,” I realized that the reason she had become so downcast was because of something I had said.
I thought back to my own words earlier and opened my mouth, continuing from the words that seemed to have caused her change in mood.
“Sorry. You’re right. Saying that you’re attractive as a woman might have been a bit wrong… But I never look at you like that all the time, An…”
“That’s not it!”
“…Huh?”
I was strongly denied, and as I was confused, An, who was also lying on the bed next to me, crawled closer to me.
“As long as you think of me as attractive as a woman, it’s fine with me. Actually, I’d be happy if you thought that way forever. But, as for me finding a good guy… I already found a great guy a long time ago.”
I was surprised by her words, “I already found someone.”
I was about to ask her about it right away, but then—
“Ah!?”
An hugged me, causing me to lose my words.
Since she was in the process of undressing, I could feel her chest against me more than the last time we had hugged.
Additionally, with her chest pressed against me, it made the visual stimulation even stronger.
“As long as you’re with me, that’s all I need. I don’t care about any other men.”
“Y-You… me…?”
Though I heard a little of her words, I was already feeling faint and disoriented from the heat I still had.
“Yeah… We’re siblings, but we don’t have blood relations, right?”
The physical contact and visual stimulation from An were clouding my mind.
“So, even though we’re siblings, we could become something more, couldn’t we…?”
An called my name, and when she saw my face, she quickly grabbed a cold towel nearby and placed it on my forehead, trying to act normal as she spoke.
“S-Sorry, Onii-chan! I didn’t realize you were that red…”
“It’s… fine.”
Because An had hugged me, I became overly conscious of her chest, which made me feel hot.
It made me wonder whether I was healthy or unhealthy.
But aside from that, I was still concerned about the meaning behind An’s words earlier.
Despite that, I stayed quiet and let An take care of me while I rested. By evening, she went out to do some shopping.
“…”
After a short while, as I rested alone, I heard the sound of the doorbell.
“Is that An…? But it seems too early for her to be back…”
If it was An, she wouldn’t need to press the doorbell. She could just open the door with her key.
Did she forget her key?
But An of all people wouldn’t make that kind of mistake.
“…Either way, I have to answer it.”
Compared to the morning and afternoon, my fever had gone down a bit, and I was able to move around.
I slowly got up and carefully descended the stairs.
I walked straight toward the door, unlocked it, and opened it.
Then, standing there was—
“…!”
A girl with beautiful long, curly blonde hair, cute hairpins and earrings, all of which suited her perfectly.
It was Hinase Akari.

Chapter 53: The Beginning
“Hi… Hinase Hinase?”
“Ah! Sorakaze…!”
I was confused by the unexpected visitor, and Hinase, closing the distance between us, spoke with a worried expression.
“Sorakaze, how’s your condition? Are you alright?”
“Yeah. Last night, the heavy rain cooled my body down, and I collapsed, but now it’s much better compared to this morning and afternoon.”
“Ah… I see. You collapsed…”
There was a brief silence after that, so I opened my mouth to fill it with words.
“How did you find my house… and how did you know where I live?”
Though I often talked with Hinase at school, I never invited her to my house, nor did I ever tell her where I lived.
When I asked, Hinase took a printout from the bag slung over her shoulder.
“The teacher asked me to deliver today’s printouts to Sorakaze. And while I was at it, I asked where your house was.”
“So that’s what it was… I’m sorry for the trouble.”
“No, it’s fine.”
I took the printout from Hinase’s hand, and after glancing around the room, she asked.
“If you’re not feeling well, I thought your little sister might come out. Is she inside?”
“If it’s my sister, she’s out shopping right now.”
“…I see.”
Hinase continued.
“Then, while your sister isn’t back, would it be okay if I took care of you, Sorakaze?”
“Eh…!?”
I was surprised by her suggestion but quickly spoke up.
“You don’t have to do that… I’m fine—”
As I shook my head, I suddenly felt dizzy, and my head spun for a moment.
“Sorakaze!”
Hinase called my name and immediately placed a gentle hand on my shoulder to support me.
Then, she continued.
“I can’t leave you like this, Sorakaze!”
“But, but—”
“No~! If something happens when you’re alone, it could be really bad!”
Though I intended to rest quietly until Anzu came back, and though the possibility of anything happening was low, considering Hinase’s kind and caring personality, it wasn’t surprising that she’d worry about me.
I didn’t want to cause her any more concern.
After a brief pause, I said.
“…Alright. If that’s the case, I’ll leave it to you.”
“Okay!”
So, I let Hinase inside, and since Anzu would be making dinner when she got back, I showed Hinase to the living room.
We both sat down next to each other on the sofa.
“So, this is where you usually live, Sorakaze…”
“…Hinase?”
As I placed the printout I received from her on the table in front of us, I noticed that Hinase muttered something quietly.
I called her out, concerned about what she had said.
“Eh!? N-nothing!!”
Hinase quickly turned red and waved her hand, flustered.
“I see.”
After that, for some reason, Hinase lowered her gaze for a while. Eventually, she raised her face, and with a calm expression, she spoke.
“Sorakaze… before, I said I’d do anything for you. But in the end, I ended up making you sick. I’m sorry.”
“Hinase, you didn’t do anything wrong, so there’s no need to apologize. I thought I’d be fine for a little longer, but like I said before, it was that heavy rain last night… it was a sudden downpour that really took a toll on me.”
I added that it was the heavy rain’s fault.
Hinase spoke up.
“Still, even if it rained, you wouldn’t have collapsed if you weren’t already tired out from before, right?”
“That’s… probably true.”
“Then, it really is my fault. There were so many things I could’ve done for you, but I thought you were fine and kept treating you like usual…”
Before I could deny her words, Hinase continued.
“But from now on, it’ll be different. From now on, I’ll do anything for you, Sorakaze… I want to. This is the beginning of that.”
Saying that, Hinase took my right hand and—
“Eh!?”
Without warning, she pressed my right hand to her large chest.
Let the man rest! Has he not been through enough 😢
