Episode 20: Looks Like an Adult, Acts Like a Child, and a Beauty

*Chomp. Munch-munch… Fuehe♪*

Hime, having eaten a *Takenoko* chocolate from my finger, smiled contently and melted into a happy grin.

She had been repeating this a few times already now.

After choosing the *Takenoko* snack for herself, Hime was thoroughly enjoying her dessert after meal.

Maybe because of her over-the-top excitement…

“W-Would it be okay for me to try one, too…?”

Sei-san, who had been quietly watching until now, finally couldn’t hold back any longer and leaned forward eagerly.

Till just moments ago, she had been sitting across from us on the opposite sofa, but now she had moved to sit next to us. With Hime, me, and Sei-san sitting in that order, on the sofa, which was presumably designed for two, became a bit cramped. We managed to fit, but the proximity felt a little too close than normal.

Well, more than just cramped… now that I see from this close, those mountains are really something else entirely.

Being beautiful, with a great figure, and exuding a kind of erotic charm. I found myself wondering if, when Hime grew up, would she end up looking like that as well. If so, I looked forward to her future, though part of me hoped she’d continue to stay as adorable as she was now. Well setting aside the thought that, if she’d stay as adorable as she is now, then it would be easier for me to get along with her — while being slightly flustered with that.

“Onee-chan, aren’t you already full?”

“It’s because Hime-chan looks so happy eating it~ I can’t help but feel curious when you make faces this cute mon!,”

“…But you’re going to gain weight, you know? Didn’t you declare just yesterday that you were going to start dieting?”

“I–I’ll start from tomorrow! I’ll work hard at dieting from tomorrow, definitely!”

“Didn’t you say that yesterday as well. And right after when we got home, you ate the leftovers from your lunch. Moreover, you even ate the ones I didn’t finish. I don’t think that was really dieting now, was it?”

“Hi–Hime-chan, you shouldn’t say such harsh things to your Onee-chan! Just because it’s the truth doesn’t mean you are right to say it so bluntly!”

“If it’s the truth, then you should already accept it properly”

“I don’t care. I can’t hear anything. I don’t want to think about it anymore,”

And so, while listening to this smile-worthy playful sisters bickering/quarelling among themselves, I had started thinking about something else.

Sei-san… I had assumed she wasn’t eating much for a normal Highschool girl and thought that maybe she had a small appetite.

But now I see. Because she was dieting, she was trying to restrict her food intake.

I’m glad, actually I went a little worried. After all, eating only this much amount is probably not good for a body in its growth spurt.

It may be an unnecessary thought from my part, so I hadn’t thought about pointing that out to them.

Anyway, it seems like she’s eating properly at home, so I feel somewhat relieved.

“Yohei, can I have one too?”

“Uh, yeah. Sure,”

Momentarily, I placed the *Takenoko* snack Hime had been eating back down into the bag and picked up the *Kinoko* wrapper instead.

Since earlier, Hime had opened it to compare the both, so I just grabbed one from the inside and handed it to Sei-san.

“Thanks~. I’ll take it.”

“Here you go… but why are you staring at me like that?”

“Nn~? I’m just wondering if I should eat like Hime, or not… Maybe I’ll eat the snack like that, and afterwards, your fingers too along with it?”

“No, no, az ezpected dats a bitz!”

“Ufufu♪ Just kidding~. I was just teasing you~,”

Seeing me panicking, Sei-san laughed happily.

I guess Sei-san had a surprisingly mischievous side to her as well. In contrast to Hime, who looked like a child despite her grown-up demeanour, Sei-san had an adult-like appearance but might be more childlike inside.

She was cute, but… since her teasing made my heart race, I would really appreciate if she could hold that back just a little.

After all, the tease from the most beautiful girl in school, is just a little too stimulating for a mob like me, ugh――.
