- The person who used to hate me, suddenly turned into a yandere!
- Chapter 51- Sakura?
The sun was relatively drowned in the sea but its shine was still illuminating the beach, enhancing the charm of the evening.
After leaving the beach house, Mika, Ryuuji, Aya, and Kazuya strolled along the coastline while sometimes playing with the water or roaming leisurely by the street market on the docks.
There were several street vendors on the docks, selling ornaments and fast food which enticed everyone to have some skewers as they walked along the path while gossiping about nothing particular.
Aya had a lively atmosphere around which attracted most of the gazes toward her and not for the fact that Kazuya was all the time beside her, there would have been many who approached her.
On the other end, Ryuuji and Mika were mostly silent. Occasionally, Ryuuji would have some banter with the blond girl as they kept engaged until five in the evening before Ryuuji suggested to return back to the beach house.
Since they have decided to help Yukino with her restaurant during the rush hour, no one showed reluctance and soon started to retreat.
“…and I told em’…”
Aya was engaged in her chatting about the last summer festival she went to with her family while keeping Kazuya busy beside him. Mika was surprised to see how easily Aya forget about the bothering thought she had about Kazuya this afternoon.
Or maybe she was so well to mask it off?
Whatever it was, Mika was happy to see that nothing have changed in her friend.
Ryuuji, who was walking beside her, had his eyes focused on the two in front as well, with a faint smile adorning his lips, signifying that he was also elated with this development.
Despite being slightly guilty, Mika couldn’t help but sigh in relief to see that Ryuuji had no reaction seeing Aya growing close to Kazuya.
If he would have reacted, Mika doesn’t know what she would have done.
It was a threatening thought, but it was just like how she was. She has no idea when she got like this, but thinking of Ryuuji looking at someone else with the same fondness he have showered her with, makes Mika anxious.
Thankfully, there were none such person around in whom Ryuuji had shown any kind of interest….
…or so she thought.
“Eh? Ryuu-kun?”
Generally, Mika is the one who calls Ryuuji in such a manner but this time it wasn’t her who called him.
Turning their heads the person who appeared to be the same age as they stood there with a surprised and unsure expression on her porcelain face.
Her pink hair which was braided and tied in a ponytail was resting over her shoulder with similar a pair of blue eyes complimenting her charm. Her appearance was moderately exposing with a crop top and a small pink skirt reaching her thighs making it hard for passers-by to keep their eyes off her.
She was indeed beautiful but that wasn’t the thing that affected Ryuuji.
“Sakura…?”
The trace of a smile on Ryuuji’s face along with that name further made Mika troubled as she saw him approaching the girl.
Kazuya and Aya were also staring at the girl with surprised gazes as they approached Mika who was left all alone.
Seeing Ryuuji affirming her doubt, Sakura smiled heartily as she jumped in his arms without thinking much of her surroundings.
“Oi!”
Ryuuji caught the girl in his arm before she could fall face flat on the sand as he heard the nostalgic voice.
“Ryuu-kun! Ryuu-kun!”
She just like always was squealing and flaying in delight as she finally found her friend after so long.
Aya gulped inaudibly as she just like Kazuya turned toward Mika stiffly only to see blizzards enveloping the raven-haired girl with her frosty gaze fixated at the scene in front.
Aya knew Ryuuji was in for a big time so the best course of action seemed was to retreat.
“W-We will be heading ahead first, Mi-chan. Please go easy, okay?”
Aya grabbed Kazuya’s arm and pulled the guy away since she knew this was not something that would end pleasantly.
Despite being a short while, Aya has come to see Mika’s dangerous growing obsession with Ryuuji and seeing the strange pink-haired clinging to him, Aya could only pray for what was to come.
Sakura was about to ask Ryuuji about his well-being when an abrupt force separated her from the boy.
Startled both of them turned toward their left to see Mika standing there with an expressionless face currently masking her inner thoughts.
“Ah, Mika. What about the other two?”
“They walked up ahead since you were taking so long, Ryuu.”
Walking up to his side, Mika entangled her arm with his as her expression changed suddenly. Her adorable complaint made Ryuuji blink in surprise.
“This…Ryuu-kun?”
“Ah, she is Mika Hayama, my friend, and classmate. And Mika, she is Sakura Asuda, the one I told you about.”
As Ryuuji introduced the girls, Mika frowned slightly and the smile on Sakura’s face deepened as she heard that Ryuuji talks about her now as well.
“Just friend huh…?”
Despite murmuring to herself, Mika was able to hear Sakura loud and clear and the evident snort in her voice as well. She hated this girl already.
“That reminds me, our friends from middle high are also here. Let’s go and meet them…”
Sakura took a hold of Ryuuji’s other hand as she tried to pull him. Mika was about to tell her off when Ryuuji interjected and politely declined the proposal.
“Not now since I have to help my aunt.”
Sakura’s smile broke but she cleanly hid her disappointment and said in a cheerful tone.
“Then tonight? We are going to light up crackers and party late at night. You have to join, okay?”
Mika’s breath fastened as she looked at Ryuuji but it was too late since he accepted the offer soon after.
“Ummm…sure. I will contact you. You got your old number right?”
Sakura nodded enthusiastically, further making Mika restless at her spot. But there wasn’t something she can do since she wasn’t the controller of Ryuuji’s life.
After some more exchange of words, Ryuuji and Mika took their leave and left the pink-haired girl alone. Sakura reminded him twice that he had to come tonight since many of their friends would leave tomorrow to which Ryuuji only nodded and bid his farewell.
Seeing the distancing back of her friend, Sakura smiled thinly with her gaze narrowed, as she muttered under her breath.
‘Never thought you will become this hot…
