Kansai Guy Becomes Popular.
“Tennouji-sama truly is different from the rumors… Just as Shina-sama and the others said, you are kind and dependable!”
The way Sakura looked at me had changed dramatically after hearing the stories from Shi-chan, Mio-chan, and Rinko. Or rather… had it changed at all? It felt like she’d been blindly trusting me from the very beginning.
“No, really—I was pretty awful in the first semester. Got hauled off by the police a few times and everything.”
“That beautiful policewoman?”
“Not just her… There was this intimidating detective with a shaved head who looked like he wasn’t exactly on the right side of the law himself.”
I don’t really remember it myself—just the memories that came with this body. A scary, stereotypical Osaka-type delinquent version of me that even made that tough detective back off. I’ve never met the guy, but apparently he’s the kind who flees at the mention of “Tennouji.” In comparison, Mikage-san was practically merciful. Shi-chan’s eyes are terrifying right now.
“Ah, Tennouji-senpai! Hello!”
“Hm? Yeah, hello.”
A first-year? She greeted me out of nowhere. Early in the second semester, kids would plaster themselves against the wall to avoid me or even scream “Eek!” when we passed… The reactions have really shifted.
“He greeted me back!”
“We did it!”
It feels good, honestly—going from notorious delinquent to just a normal senpai. As we showed Sakura around, we naturally passed a lot of other students.
“Tennouji-senpai! ‘Sup!”
“Yo.”
A little while after passing, I caught a whisper: “Tennouji-senpai is seriously cool!” How could I not grin at that?
“Fufu, Tennouji-sama is quite popular, isn’t he?”
“They said Dai-chan’s cool!”
“Of course he is. Right, Dai-kun?”
“Ahaha… I totally get that, Rin-chan~”
“It doesn’t feel bad… but it’s kinda ticklish.”
“Ticklish?”
“Like, embarrassing—in a good way.”
“I see! How educational! I must study Kansai dialect properly!”
“N-No, you really don’t have to go that far…”
“No! If I am to become Tennouji-sama’s spouse, I must at least—”
“””Spouse!?”””
The three of them froze in horror. Yeah, that’s scary. This girl’s really charging full speed ahead… Spouse? There’s no way someone like me—a commoner—could marry into that family. The status difference is astronomical. The daughter of one of Japan’s top conglomerate and an average nobody like me? Impossible. Absolutely impossible.
“Th-This is bad… Dai-kun’s gonna get taken away…”
“Uu… But if it’s Sakura-chan… should we send him off with a smile…?”
“I-If it comes to this… established facts? Like that…”
Shi-chan, no—that’s dangerous. Stop it. And now Rinko’s saying, “Established facts… If we all get pregnant…” Oh god. On our next overnight date, I might actually get ambushed… Kozue-san and Kaede-san both drilled it into me: use protection properly… This is bad. If anyone got pregnant… I’d probably get killed. Or disowned like in Mio-chan’s route… A chill ran down my spine. Forget garter belt reveals—Rinko might straight-up attack me. But canceling the date? Yeah, I’m screwed either way.
“Tennouji-sama, is something the matter?”
“N-No, nothing…! I just got a little anxious thinking about my future…”
“There is no need to worry! I—and the full might of the Harumiya family—promise you a life free of any want!”
“You’re already treating marriage as decided!?”
“Father said… that if I have chosen a gentleman, both he and Mother will spare no support!”
That’s probably assuming some conglomerate heir. They haven’t considered a regular citizen at all.
“With Tennouji-sama here… and Shina-sama, Mio-sama, Rinko-sama… It’s wonderful! So wonderful!”
“Eh? Us too?”
“Of course! You are all Tennouji-sama’s fiancées, are you not? From the stories of your deep love for him, I naturally wish to live together with all of you! The four of us… with Tennouji-sama… and the children we will bear… Such a happy life…”
“Ch-Children… fufu…”
“A baby with Dai-chan… I’d love to have three, I think I’d try really hard~”
“A wonderful boy who looks just like Dai-kun… Ah, a girl would be nice too… fufu…”
Rinko, you’re not rubbing your belly right now. There’s no one in there… No, this is bad. Really bad. Their eyes are terrifying. Where’s the highlight in their pupils? This school tour has been giving me chills for a while now…

“This is the gym~ They’re doing club activities right now—wanna peek in? Are you planning to join any clubs?”
“No. Sebas comes to pick me up, you see. I train at the gym in our home.”
A home gym—another glimpse into that insane lifestyle. I’d love to borrow it. I want better workout routines too. Anyway, this gym is massive. Three full courts for volleyball, badminton, and basketball—and it’s two stories. First floor for girls, second for boys. Then there’s a separate building with kendo, judo, and even an archery dojo. The grounds are enormous.
“It’s huge~ My family’s party hall could fit inside!”
Yeah… that’s a whole different scale. We’ve only seen part of the Harumiya estate, but… it feels bigger than the entire school grounds.
“Ahh—! It’s Tennouji-kun!”
“Eh!? Tennouji-kun!?”
“It’s really him! Oh no—my leggings are showing—!”
What the— The basketball girls started freaking out. Then the volleyball and badminton teams joined in. Fixing clothes is one thing, but fussing over hair and scent?
“Hey! Mio-chi! If you’re bringing Tennouji-kun, give us a heads-up!”
“Ahaha, sorry, sorry… Today we’re showing the transfer student Sakura-san around. Daiki-kun tagged along.”
“Oh, I see! Uu—! I don’t smell sweaty, do I!?”
It smelled… nice. Like sweat, maybe? But mixed with that sweet, distinctly feminine scent… So this is what a garden of girls is like.
“Tennouji-kun! Match! Play us in basketball!”
“Uh… What’s this all of a sudden…?”
The challenger was… Oowada-san from my class.
“1-on-1 works. You wanna move a bit, right, Oowada-san? Let’s go.”
“Alright—game on!”
Instantly, a gallery of girls formed. I held nothing back—defending hard, driving past her, getting driven past. Every move drew excited cheers. We were both sweating plenty by the time I won.
“Haa… haa… Tennouji-kun… you’re too strong~!”
“Whew… That was hot. Fun, though. You’re tough, Oowada-san.”
Captain of the basketball team—naturally strong. And seriously fun! Moving my body like that always feels great!
“Tennouji-kun! I won’t lose next time! Come again!”
“Yeah, if the coach doesn’t yell at me.”
“Kyaa! Ranko’s so smooth— Hey, Tennouji-kun! Come to volleyball too!”
“You… hate badminton or something!?”
Whoa—sudden recruitment blitz… I’ll have to think about that.
“Mio-chan! Bring him to volleyball too!”
“And badminton—!”
“Ahaha! I’ll think about it~”
“That’s the ‘never coming’ line!!”
I’ll leave the negotiations to Mio-chan. Might be good exercise, though.
“Tennouji-sama, that was magnificent! Ah, you’re sweating. Here, a towel.”
“Ahhhhh—!? That’s our job!! Kuuh… Sakura-san… what a terrifying child…!”
…The fabric feels insanely luxurious. And the scent—high-end for sure. I offered to wash and return it, but she beamed and said “It’s quite all right!” while snatching it back at lightning speed. Alright, we’ve roughly covered the school.
“Thank you all so much. This has been a truly meaningful time.”
“It was just a quick tour—if you get lost, just ask!”
“Mio-sama…! Thank you! Ufufu, being with everyone is so fun I completely lose track of time♪ Ah, a call… It’s Sebas.”
Perfect timing. My 1-on-1 with Oowada-san ate up a lot of time. We headed back to the classroom for bags, then to the main gate—where old man Sebas was waiting.
“Thank you all for today! Farewell, then.”
“See ya tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow again, Sa-chan!”
“Let’s eat lunch together tomorrow too!”
“See you tomorrow.”
“…! Everyone… Yes—tomorrow!”
The words “tomorrow” must have meant the world to her. She boarded the car with the brightest smile, waving enthusiastically through the open window as they drove off.
“Alright, let’s head home too.”
“Yup!”
“Daiki-kun… going to the girls’ basketball club alone… is not allowed, okay?”
“Y-Yess.”
Mio-chan’s smile was terrifying. I swore up and down I wouldn’t go, and she finally relented. Not to brag, but… the girls really seemed to like me today. It’s flattering… but Shi-chan and the others are scary…
