Back in our hometown, we headed to my usual supermarket to prepare for the hot pot. I left choosing the ingredients entirely to Mio-chan’s housewife skills.

Mio-chan was trembling slightly. The trauma still lingered, I guess. Considering everything he’d said and done to her, that was only natural. When I glanced at her face, though, she also seemed to be glaring sharply.

“Mio’s coming to my place for a meal with everyone here. See ya.”

“W-wait! Mio! I’m sorry…! I was wrong…! So… could we at least walk to school together again…?”

To be honest, I was overwhelmed by how much Tenma-kun and Momodani-kun ate. They devoured everything. They started off a little reserved, but once I told them not to hold back, their speed doubled. It was honestly satisfying to watch. Mio-chan kept distributing crab to everyone, and the hot pot party stayed warm and lively throughout. We’d made plenty of zosui rice porridge at the end, but it vanished in an instant. These two… are terrifying.

“Then everyone, take care on your way home!”
