The Gal Game Heroines Who Were Supposed to Die Somehow Learned My Secret ~By the Way, Where Did My [Diary] Go?~ - SS 4: I Caught a Cold…
SS 04: I Caught a Cold…
“Cough… cough…”
Yeah. I caught a cold.
Nothing dramatic—just your run-of-the-mill cold. Still, it sucks.
This was clearly payback for leaving my university report until the very last minute, then pulling two all-nighters to finish it.
Well, whatever. A cold usually goes away if you just sleep it off.
The real problem… is the four of them.
The second they found out I was bedridden, every single one insisted on “taking care of me.” Worse, they even tried to skip school to do it.
Shino, for example—she dramatically swept back her long black hair, added a sultry flourish, and declared with absolute confidence:
“According to a professor at Harvard University, there’s a study showing that certain bedroom techniques are highly effective against illness.”
…So, what? She expects me, feverish and half-dead, to get it up?
And let’s be clear—those “techniques” she’s talking about are basically seduction.
Meanwhile, Reine was on a completely different wavelength.
“Nooo! Satoshi, don’t dieee!”
She bawled like a child, tears streaming as if I were taking my final breath.
…It’s just a cold, okay?
Honestly, how have you even survived this long?
Thankfully, the “older sister” duo—Satsuki and Shuna—managed to calm those two down and drag them off to school.
For that, I am deeply, deeply grateful.
Because if that circus act had gone on any longer, the cold wouldn’t have been the thing that killed me.
Anyway… guess I’ll just sleep.
◇
“I’m hoooome!”
From the entrance, Satsuki’s lungs went off at full blast, her loud and lively voice rattling the whole house. The sheer energy jolted me awake.
“Satoshi-kun, you doing okay~?”
Right after, Shuna’s slow, drawling voice floated in.
I reached for my phone beside the futon—already past 5 p.m. Groaning, I dragged myself upright and peeked down from the loft.
“Welcome back. You’re home early.”
“Of course! We were worried about you, Satoshi-kun!”
Satsuki puffed her chest out proudly as she declared it. Behind her, Shuna wore her usual easygoing smile—though her eyes held a faint trace of worry.
“Haha, no need to worry. Thanks to some rest, I’m feeling a lot better.”
And it was true—I felt far lighter compared to this morning.
“By the way, where are Reine and Shino?”
When I glanced around, Satsuki planted her hands on her hips and answered with her usual gusto.
“They went to Suitengu Shrine to pray for your recovery!”
“…That’s thoughtful of them, but isn’t that shrine not really for health stuff?”
“Right~? But honestly, those two were kinda a handful today… so we figured it’d be easier to just let them wander off.”
“I see… Sorry for the trouble.”
Looking closely at their faces, I realized that even Shuna—who was usually unflappable—looked worn out.
…Guess while I was knocked out, the two of them had been watching over me the whole time.
“Well, if they get hungry, they’ll come back on their own.”
By the way—Suitengu Shrine is actually famous for safe childbirth.
…Wait. Why does that suddenly feel kind of terrifying?
“Satoshi-kun, did you take your temperature?”
“Ah—nope, didn’t bother. Guess I should grab the thermometer.”
“No, no~. We’ll bring it up to you~.”
“…? Oh, sure. Thanks.”
My body still hadn’t fully recovered, so I stayed put in bed and let them spoil me.
The wood creaked as Shuna climbed the loft ladder, her footsteps drawing closer.
“Satoshi-kun, I brought some water too~.”
“Oh, thanks—huh!?”
The moment I opened my eyes, I jolted upright in shock.
“What’s wrong?”
“No… I’m just seeing Shuna and Satsuki standing here in nurse outfits…”
“Phew~! Glad to hear your eyesight’s just fine~!”
“I was hoping it was my eyesight that was messed up!!”
Too bad—my prayers went unanswered. The sight was 100% real.
Satsuki wore a bright pink nurse uniform, the skirt daringly short above her knees, showing off her toned, healthy thighs without restraint.
Shuna, on the other hand, wore a pure-white nurse outfit. It should’ve looked plain, but the snug fabric clung perfectly to her curves, and paired with her soft, easygoing aura, the contrast made her absurdly dangerous.
“For your sake, Satoshi-kun, Shuna and I went to Donki and bought these nurse outfits!”
“Yaaay~!”
Satsuki and Shuna swung their nurse caps playfully and smacked a cheerful high-five.
Meanwhile, I was left out of the circle, staring in pure disbelief.
“Alright then, Satoshi-kun. Time for your medicine—open wide!”
“Ah… okay.”
Ridiculous costumes aside, their concern at least seemed genuine. So, I obediently opened my mouth.
“Mm, here we go.”
Satsuki tipped the powdered medicine onto my tongue and took a sip of water herself.
━━And that’s when Shuna suddenly hugged me from behind. Her arms clamped around me, locking me in place so I couldn’t move.
“Eh? What are you—mmph!?”
Before I could finish, Satsuki pressed her lips to mine. Cold water rushed in through the kiss, pouring straight into my mouth.
“Mmm… nn…”
Cool liquid, Satsuki’s warm breath, and the soft slide of her tongue—my brain short-circuited under the triple assault. Water spilled out, dripping onto the futon in messy droplets.
“As expected of Satsuki-chan. So bold~.”
Shuna’s airy, teasing voice brushed right against my ear, sending a shiver straight down my spine.
Not pleasant—terrifying! Oxygen… I was running out of oxygen…!
“Gulp, gulp…!”
I swallowed frantically. If I didn’t, I was going to suffocate.
“Phaaah!”
Finally, I managed to wrench myself free from Satsuki’s lips.
Panting hard, I gasped for air, my chest heaving as I clutched at my shoulders.
“Medicine injection complete! Ahh, I’ve always wanted to try that at least once~.”
Satsuki’s cheeks burned red as she struck a bashful little ‘no no~’ pose with both hands. Right beside her, Shuna leaned down to whisper in my ear.
“How nice~. I’m so jealous, Satsuki-chan.”
Both of them were in full-on dere-dere mode, completely ignoring the fact that I had almost died just now.
“I—I seriously thought I was gonna die!?”
I shouted, but they only exchanged a look—then burst out laughing.
“Oh look, he’s got enough energy to complain again! Guess mouth-to-mouth really does work as treatment!”
“Yay~.”
What the hell. My heartfelt protest just got brushed aside like it was nothing…
“Alright then, time to check your temperature~.”
“Eh—wait, what?”
Before I could react, Shuna shoved me back down onto the futon. A moment later, something soft and heavy pressed against my face—my vision went dark, my nose and mouth completely smothered.
“Mmm, no wriggling now~. If you move, we can’t get an accurate reading with the boobies thermometer~.”
“Mmgghhh!? (What the hell kind of thermometer is that!?)”
I flailed in desperation, arms and legs kicking, but Shuna’s chest pressed down harder, pinning me with terrifyingly unyielding breast pressure.
And then came the finishing blow.
“To increase the accuracy, I’ll measure from the back too~!”
“Wha—!?”
From behind, another wave of blissful—yet deadly—softness enveloped me. Satsuki had hugged me tight, her nurse uniform’s smooth fabric brushing against me as warmth and softness swallowed me from all sides.
No escape from the front or the back. A dream paradise… or maybe a nightmare utopia.
“Everywhere I look—front or back, it’s boobs!”
“Satoshi-kun, you’re living the dream~.”
“~~~!!”
Shuna’s whisper tickled right in my ear, her soft voice striking me like a lightning bolt. My whole body trembled from the sensation, and I shot upright on pure reflex.
“Haa… haa…”
I gulped for air, shoulders heaving as oxygen flooded back into my lungs.
And then—
“I almost died! (Again!)”
I shouted from the bottom of my chest. To hell with the neighbors—I didn’t care if the whole block heard.
“Are you two trying to kill me!? Why do you keep coming up with new ways to make me suffocate!?”
First waterboarding via mouth-to-mouth, now an asphyxiating boob sandwich.
On paper, sure, it sounded like some guy’s dream scenario—
But in reality, it was life-or-death panic.
“Well, we are angels in white coats! We came to escort you~!”
“Who the hell came up with that line!?”
“If this world feels like the afterlife to you, then wouldn’t it make sense for us to be angels~?”
“…That’s the dumbest logic, but somehow I can’t even argue back…!”
Her half-asleep, carefree reasoning left me utterly speechless. I never imagined I’d be out-argued by nonsense.
With a heavy exhale, I finally asked,
“…Why would you even pull something like this…?”
“…Because we were worried about you.”
Satsuki’s voice had gone quiet, stripped of its usual brightness. Even the nurse cap on her head seemed to sag with the weight of her mood.
“We really love you, Satoshi-kun. Just thinking about you getting sick and… dying, it’s terrifying~”
Shuna’s voice stayed soft and airy, but her eyes were serious.
“Satsuki, Shuna…”
Come to think of it, this morning’s ruckus made Shino and Reine look wild, but these two had been just as frantic—worrying themselves sick over me.
They were scared for the same reason I was: they couldn’t stand the thought of losing me.
A warm little feeling spread through my chest. I gently pulled them both into my arms.
“Sorry for worrying you… I think I’m already feeling better, thanks to you.”
“Mm…”
“Hehe~”
…Alright. No more all-nighters, ever.
Staying healthy suddenly became top priority. If I crashed, this whole household might fall apart.
“By the way, Satoshi-kun…”
“Hm?”
Satsuki’s voice turned serious. Her usual brightness dimmed slightly, and the words landed heavy in my chest.
“If—if you were gone, we were thinking about what we’d do….”
It sounded absurd, the sort of thing you’d want to brush off with a laugh. But it was clear they’d genuinely been worrying.
“We can’t live without you, Satoshi-kun~.”
“Yeah. I even thought… maybe we’d do something drastic together.”
“I’ll outlive you all, so don’t worry about that…”
Note to self: health is important. Very important.
“But you know—”
Satsuki glanced at Shuna. Shuna nodded once. There was an unspoken agreement between them.
“If there was someone as important as Satoshi-kun in our lives, I think we’d be okay…”
“Yeah, right~.”
“Satsuki, Shuna…”
I realized what they were getting at.
━They didn’t just care about me: the four of them cared about each other just as much.
The moment that thought sank in, my chest warmed. I felt genuinely happy.
“Therefore—let’s make a baby☆”
For a beat, I thought I’d misheard. It sounded like nonsense… but then—
“Obviously if there was a baby, we couldn’t all go and die chasing after you, right~?”
“Right. It’d be the fruit of our love… we’d have to protect them as parents…”
They flushed at the image, their faces lighting with a strange, fierce sort of resolve.
…Okay, breathe. Stay calm.
Don’t get carried away. Be rational and explain why it can’t happen.
“Sorry. I’m still recovering, so I really can’t right now… and honestly, I don’t have any libido.”
I thought using my illness as an excuse would stop even these two from tackling me.
I was wrong…
“It’s fine, Satoshi-kun! That boobies thermometer from earlier already proved you’re perfectly healthy!”
“Yup yup! Totally healthy down there~.”
Their eyes weren’t on my face.
No. they were fixed on my lower half━━━
“Wait, hold on a sec…”
“And you know, there’s a famous old saying, perfect for times like this. Right, Shuna?”
“Yup yup. Want to hear it, Satoshi-kun~?”
“…Guess I don’t have a choice. Let’s hear it…”
By now, I’d half-accepted my fate.
“‘If it won’t stand—make it stand, little cuckoo!’”
“Stop twisting history, damn it!! Apologize to that great man!!”
I screamed from the bed, but the two of them just smiled back, unbearably sweet.
Well…
At the very least, I could say I was feeling better.
In more ways than one… yeah…

All I can say is good luck.
Also, I am reading this at 2230 and I have a test tomorrow at 1400. Life is great for some at least.
Good luck buddy.
