- The Female Hero Party That Exiled Me, All of Them Are Mentally Broken
- Chapter 11 - The Receptionist Was Messed up Too
A quiet afternoon on a day off.
I arrived a little early at the café on the main street where we had agreed to meet.
(Cecily… normally, a girl wouldn’t go to a café alone with a guy… d-does that mean…)
Usually, girls don’t meet one-on-one with guys they don’t really know.
So maybe Cecily really trusts me. Or maybe she even feels something more for me.
Could it be that she likes me?
Cecily is one of the few girls I’ve gotten close to since coming here.
I’m a new adventurer, and she’s a new guild clerk. We’re the same age, in similar positions. We get along well, and if we ever became a couple, I think it would be peaceful and fun.
Cecily is normal. Compared to the other girls around me, she’s completely normal.
She doesn’t cling to me like Yuria. She doesn’t treat me like a little brother, like Naitsu. She doesn’t call me a god like Serara.
Just a normal girl. Someone I can feel comfortable with. And I could with Cecily.
(B-but what would Yuria and the others think…?)
Would that crazy hero party even let me date another girl?
Worrying about that, I headed to the meeting spot. That’s when I noticed something.
On the open terrace, where the smell of fresh coffee filled the air, a huge waiter wearing full plate armor and an apron was standing there.
A golden-haired ninja-like figure clung to the ceiling beams, and in the kitchen, a sister in pure white robes poured purple liquid into a pot.
(They’re totally trying to get in the way.)
I knew it. Yuria and the others were going to try to stop me from spending time with another girl.
Ugh, how mean!
Even if they try to interfere, I’m going on this date with Cecily!
(But what should I do… It’s almost time for our meeting…)
If Cecily shows up now, I’m sure Yuria and the others would do something awful to her.
And then.
“Alphonse-saaaan!”
From a distance, Cecily came running toward me while waving happily.
She wore a soft pink blouse with frills and a white flared skirt that spread out gently. She looked like a spring fairy in her cute clothes with her eyes sparkling as she ran.
“Cecily. I’m glad. It’s better not to go near that café.”
“Really? Actually, I was thinking the same. The café is too crowded and not very relaxing.”
“Oh? You felt that too?”
Cecily grabbed my right arm tightly, pressing her soft chest against me. A sweet scent tickled my nose.
Even though she looked delicate, she was surprisingly strong. It was probably from carrying heavy paperwork at the adventurer’s guild every day.
“If it’s okay, would you like to have tea at my place, just the two of us?”
“E-eh?”
(No way… just the two of us in a girl’s room.)
My hunch was almost a certainty now. Could it be that Cecily likes me?
This is bad. I definitely can’t let Yuria and the others meet Cecily. Who knows what they’d do?
“O-okay.”
“Thank you, Alphonse-san!”
With surprising strength, Cecily dragged me down a small alley to her apartment.
Click.
As soon as we entered, she locked the door with a loud metal sound.
“Huh? W-why are you locking it?”
The room was clean and cute, but thick blackout curtains covered the windows.
“Actually… there’s something I really want to show you, Alphonse-san>”
Her face was bright red as she fidgeted nervously.
E-e-eh.
There should be some kind of step!?
Cecily opened her closet and pulled out a piece of clothing while pressing it against my chest.
“W-what is this? A dress?”
“A maid outfit.”
“Eh!?”
It was a short maid outfit, all white lace with black frills.
“W-what do you want me to do with this?”
“I want Alphonse-san to… wear it.”
Eh, what?
“D-did I hear that wrong?”
“No, I want Alphonse-san to wear this cute maid outfit.”
“B-but I’m a boy.”
I leaned back in shock, almost hitting the wall.
Cecily’s eyes were completely dazed and lacking highlights as she slowly closed the distance between us.
“It’s fine! Your skin is smooth, and it will totally look good on Alphonse-san!”
(Cross-dressing!?)
Cross-dressing.
That’s when a boy wears a girl’s clothes.
“W-why!?”
“Because, Alphonse-san… you’re cute. And you have so much potential to be a boy who can pull off looking like a girl… so I thought you should cross-dress!”
“I don’t understand!”
“My dream was to have a secret tea party with you as a cute girl while giggling together!”
(E-e-eh!? S-she wanted to talk to me about cross-dressing!?)
The mask of the proper receptionist completely fell apart with a loud snap.
“Ah, Alphonse-san… It’s your fault. You have such a cute face… and your body… it would totally suit cross-dressing…”
Cecily’s breathing grew heavy as she forcibly grabbed the buttons of my shirt.
“Haah, haah, you’re so precious. Alphonse-san as a cute girl, sniff sniff.”
“Stop it, don’t take off my clothes.”
It was different from Serara-san. This was an obsessive kind of perversion that filled the room.
Pressed against me with the maid outfit, I struggled desperately on the bed as I tried to resist.
◇
Meanwhile.
The three members of the hero party, who had failed to stop the café assassination plan, were now surrounding Cecily’s apartment using detection magic.
They moved to the back of the building and clung to the second-floor window frame while they were peeking inside.
Through the tiny gap in the thick curtains, they could see the room clearly.
“That little thief finally showed her true colors. I’ll smash the window and kill her!”
Naitsu raised her great sword, her eyes wild with bloodlust, and was ready to shatter the glass. But the moment after, she froze like a statue.
Her eyes fell on Alphonse, forced into a frilly maid outfit by Cecily, with tears in his eyes and face burning red.
His narrow shoulders and pale skin matched perfectly with the black-and-white frills, in a way that was almost terrifying.
“To make my cute little brother wear something so shameless. No, it actually suits him too well!”
Naitsu let a thin line of blood drip from her nose, her face twisted in inner conflict while still holding her sword.
“Cross-dressing for the glory of God, this is another form of devotion!”
Serara pressed her forehead against the window, overcome with mysterious emotion, and began praying fervently.
“I’ll kill Cecily! That little thief should die! But Alphonse-san is so cute!”
As Yuria’s brain was completely glitching between murderous intent and her obsession, she froze with her eyes rolled back.
Inside the room, Cecily went wild as she tried to put a headband on Alphonse.
“It looks amazing! Alphonse-san, it looks perfect on you!”
“Stop it! Somebody help meeee!”
Alphonse tried to look toward the window for help with tears in his eyes. But through the curtain gap, Naitsu with her nosebleed, Serara praying, and Yuria frozen in white-eyed shock all stared at him with bloodshot eyes.
The heroes he relied on were defeated by the sheer adorableness of Alphonse in a maid outfit and had completely stopped functioning.
Collapsing in despair, Alphonse sank to his knees.
“T-there’s not a single normal girl in this whole city.”
His desperate cry echoed helplessly in the locked room.
And so, his very first date began in the worst possible way, with him forced into a frilly maid outfit.
