- The Female Hero Party That Exiled Me, All of Them Are Mentally Broken
- Chapter 10 - The Yandere Girls Who Won’t Interfere with Date Invitations
Overwhelming devotion from mentally unstable girls crashed over me like wild waves.
Even after I returned to the inn from gathering herbs, I didn’t get even one second of peace.
Yuria clung to my back and wouldn’t let go. Naitsu-san tried to follow me into the bath. And as for Serara-san. She sat at my feet and polished my shoes while quietly sniffing them.
The pressure was so intense that I felt like my mind was about to break.
Please, let me sort out this situation for just a moment.
I ran away down the hallway of the inn and slipped into the restroom at the far end.
Bang, I shut the thick wooden door and locked it from the inside.
At last, I was alone.
In that small space, I sank down onto the toilet seat and let out a long sigh.
The quiet room echoed with nothing but my tired breathing.
Then.
Tap.
Through the small window used for ventilation, a tiny owl messenger fluttered in.
Its white wings rustled softly as it landed on my lap and dropped a single envelope before flying away.
I looked at the sender’s name, and my eyes widened.
When I opened the letter, I smelled ink and a sweet scent of flowers.
It was from Cecily, the guild receptionist.
“On your next day off, if you’d like, would you go to a café with just the two of us?”
The neat and cute handwriting made my heart feel warm.
After being worn down by such heavy love, this simple invitation from a normal girl felt like finding water in the middle of a desert.
Ah, this feels nice.
I hugged the letter to my chest and smiled softly to myself inside the small stall.
◇
Right outside the thick wooden door.
Yuria stood there, staring at the restroom stall. Her blue eyes focused and gathered magic.
Inside her eyes, a complex pattern like a magic circle appeared.
It was her cheat skill, the power that could see through anything. The legendary “Hero’s Eye.”
It could even see hidden paths inside the Demon King’s castle.
And now she was using that great power to clearly see Alphonse reading a letter inside the stall.
“Well, Yuria?”
Naitsu asked in a low voice with her arms crossed.
Beside her, Serara stood with her hands clasped together while waiting for the answer, like she was praying.
“It looks like that girl named Cecily invited him on a date.”
Yuria’s voice was dark, like it came from deep underground.
At that moment, the hallway seemed to grow colder. A sharp pressure filled the air, as if it was pressing against their skin.
“W-what? How rude.”
“To try and tempt my god while we stand here…”
Serara whispered. The expressions disappeared from their faces. A dark killing intent leaked out.
But they bit down hard and forced themselves to hold back.
“What should we do? We are sinners who promised never to hurt him again. We cannot cause trouble for Alphonse-sama.”
Serara murmured with her dark eyes, and Naitsu quietly nodded in agreement.
“I agree. We must respect the will of the little brother we love. We will simply watch from the side.”
Their pride as heroes held them back, and their clumsy desire to make up for their sins.
They had one absolute rule.
They must never interfere with Alphonse’s happiness.
But a twisted smile slowly appeared on Yuria’s lips.
“Yeah. We must not cause trouble for Al. So, that means we can cause as much trouble as we want for Cecily, right?”
The moment they heard that extreme and frightening logic, light returned to Naitsu and Serara’s eyes.
“A good idea. If we are only removing a pest, it will not trouble little brother at all.”
“It must be the will of my god. Let us deliver divine punishment to that shameless woman.”
The three heroes were now perfectly united by their warped reasoning as they looked at each other in the dark hallway and laughed quietly.
Behind the promise of a healing date, a terrifying plan to remove the guild receptionist had just begun.
