Episode 8: Spoiled Karen

“Whew, that was a nice bath.”

I get out of the bath and head towards the living room.”

“I have finished taking a bath.”

“Come over here, Nii-san.”

I do as I am instructed and go near Karen.

After sniffing my scent from here and there, I muttered, “So, do I pass the test?” and then went my way.

As soon as I got home from school, I got immediately asked by Karen, with a frown on her face, 

“Please go take a bath immediately. Nii-san,” 

And so, I took a bath.

“Did I smell like sweat to that degree?”

“No, that was not the reason. It was because you had become sullied.”

Sullied?

Probably a place out of my sight looked insightful and sullied.

“Today, I was thinking of having pudding as a snack, but as the time for dinner is near, so please have it for dessert. If you feel full, I’d be happy even if you manage to eat it up by tomorrow morning.”

“I understand. Thank you.”

It was around the time after having our dinner together, and I had almost finished preparing for tomorrow’s short quiz in my room.

“It was a good hot water bath.”

Karen entered my room while saying that.

“Hey! Karen!?”

“Nii-san, please help me dry my hair.”

Saying that, she handed me the hair dryer, not even waiting for me to say a yes or no.

“I understand, so don’t push me so hard on doing that.”

“Hurry up. A woman’s hair is her lifeline.”

In that case, Why don’t you do that yourself?

But I swallowed those words up.

A gentle warm breeze slowly dries up her hair.

You used to ask me to do it a lot when you were little, didn’t you?

“Hnn~nn, Phew.”

Yeah, and whenever you would feel good, you would squint your eyes just like that.

Yes, as if, like a cat.

With that thought still prevalent in mind, when I ticked her neck with a bit of touch, she let out a “Funyaa” cry as if showing she was enjoying herself quite a bit.

After drying up her hair, she probably returned to her senses as she turned around and started glaring at me without a word.

“Nii-san … you’re getting too much ahead of yourself.”

“Sorry.”

“As a punishment, you will now have to sleep with me tonight.”

Karen said that and had her place on my bed earlier than I could.

“Nii-san, hurry up.”

“Yes, yes, I understand, Young highness.”

Slowly and carefully, I have my way onto the bed.

“Come closer, please~.”

“Won’t it feel hot?”

“I am actually quite sensitive to cold.”

“It’s the first time I’m hearing this, though.”

Somehow, today’s Karen felt all the more spoiled than ever. It was as if she had returned to her past.

“Say Nii-san”

“What happened?”

“I’m cute, aren’t I?”

“I’ve said it before, but I’ve never met anyone prettier and cuter than Karen in this entire world yet.”

“Is that so.”

Saying that, she hid her face on my chest so that I couldn’t see her face anymore.

“Good night, Karen.”

“…Good night, Nii-san.”

“So, it’s still okay, I guess.”… I thought I heard her say that.
