The day I moved on from my crush — who worked as a rental girlfriend — I ended up with a yandere - Chapter 16- Nasty?
Tsumiki-san had fun. I could tell.
She used all the time allotted to us to break things inside the room, without restraints. And that’s what she was supposed to do.
She cried, smashed, cursed, and did everything that signified how much she had been holding back until now.
Really, hearing her curse aloud was a whole new experience, since until now, I had only heard her speaking sarcastically or saying just a few plain words that could form a response.
I saw a new side of her today. And I am relieved to see that she trusted me enough to not hide behind her shell.
“Haah, I believe they are going to charge us extra for all the destruction I have caused,” she said, not a speck of guilt in her voice as she threw aside the third broken weapon.
I chuckled and told her, “Even if we had broken everything and asked for more, within this single hour, they had to provide for us.”
Tsumiki-san grinned as she turned toward me and threw her arms around me. “Really, I am thankful that you brought me here, Kazuki-kun.”
Unlike before when she hugged me, she wasn’t wearing the oversized protective gear. That explained why I froze.
I could feel her hot body pressed against mine—her supple skin, the fragrance of her lavender soap mixed with her sweat… ah, this was dangerous. Extremely dangerous.
“I-I… am glad to hear that,” I responded, trying to remain calm.
Tsumiki-san fortunately granted me some mercy and soon parted away before saying, “Sorry, I am a bit sweaty.”
I sheepishly smiled. “Don’t worry, you can relax here for a bit. I’ll go bring some tissues.”
Before she could say anything, I sprinted outside the room, doing my best to hide the awakening of the little dragon in my pants.
Did I have a sweat fetish or a smell fetish? I didn’t know, because I was still a virgin.
Regardless, I bought a cold soda and drank it right there to cool my head.
Once a little calmer, I bought a soda for her too and asked for a dry towel.
Fortunately, the store manager didn’t charge for the towel.
As I stepped inside the room, I saw Tsumiki-san standing near one of the broken statues.
“Don’t go near that. You’ll hurt yourself.” She wasn’t wearing protective gear, and this whole place was like a landmine.
She turned toward me and asked, “Do you think I should make a room like this back at home?”
My brows lifted. “The idea isn’t bad, but won’t it cost too much? And breaking something you’ve bought with your own money is kind of painful, isn’t it?”
She groaned. “Right… plan dropped.” She took the soda I extended to her with a sweet thanks.
I even offered the towel, but she said, “I’m drinking this. Can you help me wipe my arms?”
“…” My little dragon had a head of its own.
If you ask me something like that, things will turn awkward, Tsumiki-san.
“Sorry for asking something so nasty…” she said, her shoulders dropping.
I instantly stepped closer and took her arm.
Without missing a beat, I gently wiped her thin, milky-white arm with the dry towel and said, “Nothing about you is nasty.”
Her fragrance? Yes, it was still domineering—but I couldn’t let her misunderstand.
Tsumiki-san continued to look at me. My words had surely had an effect.
But then, in a quiet voice, she muttered, “My personality is surely nasty… I’ve heard that from many… so many, I’ve lost count.”
I exhaled a sigh, my eyes still drawn to her arm as I said, “Did I ever tell you your personality is bad?”
She shook her head slowly.
I looked up, my eyes meeting hers as I said, “So does my opinion not count?”
Her eyes slowly widened as I added, “If my opinion matters, then know this, Tsumiki-san—you may have a temper and quirks to your personality, but you are not a bad person. I can tell.”
She remained standing there even after I finished wiping, her eyes fixated on me.
I felt my heart rate rise a little too, seeing that expression.
Just then—
BZZZZZ
We both jolted as the buzzer atop the door rang, notifying us that our time was up.
I exhaled a long breath before saying, “Fun time over. Let’s go.”
Tsumiki-san slowly nodded, not meeting my gaze… but somehow, looking at her reddened ear tips, I could tell she was shy.
My lips curved involuntarily.
Just when I was about to step out and pay, Tsumiki-san said, “Ah, Kazuki-kun. I forgot my hair clip in the changing room. Can you bring it to me?”
I blinked and then nodded in assent. “Sure.”
Releasing the door handle, I went to the other side where the changing room was.
I didn’t have to search for long, as I spotted a wooden brown hair clip on the bench.
I picked it up and exited the room—and just then, I spotted Tsumiki-san paying the store manager.
I made my way to her, and she turned to look at me.
In a quiet voice, I said, “I had it covered, Tsumiki-san.”
With a soft smile, she responded, “Is there any written rule that says you have to pay for everything?”
My lips parted slightly, but then no words came out.
