The Case of Me, a Guy With Zero Dating Experience, Getting Mistaken for a Stalker by the Angel I Fell for at First Sight, Only to End Up Living Together With Her in a Harem Share House With a 1:9 Gender Ratio - Chapter 2: Reunion
Chapter 2: Reunion
After finishing his third class, Yuuki was at Hoshigaoka Station, the nearest station to his university.
He was on his way to visit Asuna’s share house.
Yuuki recalled Asuna’s explanation.
The rooms are single-occupancy, with a shared bathroom, toilet, kitchen, and living room.
The rooms come furnished with a bed, table, and chairs.
With daily necessities, clothes, and food, he could start living there today.
Checking the map, the share house was an eight-minute walk from the station, three minutes from a convenience store, and five minutes from a supermarket—a decent location.
Plus, the rent for a share house is cheaper than a regular apartment, and there’s no deposit, so it would keep costs down.
While thinking about this and waiting for the train, he spotted a girl in a white dress at the other end of the platform.
It was the beautiful girl he had fallen for at first sight a month ago.
Yuuki couldn’t help but smile at the unexpected reunion.
Her glossy black hair reached almost to her waist, her large, adorable eyes, her refined nose, her elegant lips, her translucent white skin, and her perfectly proportioned model-like figure—everything about her was simply beautiful.
(Is she a student at our school? …Or maybe Seisho?)
By the way, near Hoshigaoka Station, besides Yuuki’s Seijo University, there’s also Seisho Gakuen Women’s University (nicknamed “Seijo”).
Perhaps noticing Yuuki’s gaze, the girl turned toward him.
For a moment, her eyes widened slightly, but her expression quickly turned suspicious.
(Oh no, did I stare too much…?)
Yuuki hurriedly averted his gaze.
Soon, the train arrived, and the girl boarded a different carriage from Yuuki.
It was just past 3 p.m. on a weekday, so the train was relatively empty, and Yuuki found a seat.
The share house was in the opposite direction of the town where Yuuki used to live.
As he gazed at the unfamiliar scenery through the window, he arrived at Hakurindai Station in about 15 minutes.
When Yuuki stepped onto the platform, he saw the girl in the white dress get off a carriage ahead and head toward the ticket gate.
(Huh, same station…?)
Watching her pass through the gate, Yuuki felt an urge to find out where she lived.
But he didn’t have time for that now.
He had a promise with Asuna.
Following the girl with his eyes as she left the station, he told himself, “Finding a place to live comes first.”
Yuuki took out his phone, opened the map app, and checked the route to the share house.
The screen showed the directions, indicating an eight-minute walk.
Raising his gaze and starting to walk, he noticed the girl in the white dress about 30 meters ahead.
(She lives around here…? Maybe I’ll see her again.)
Yuuki felt a faint hope.
Coincidentally, the direction the girl was heading was the same as the share house.
Her long hair swayed in the breeze as she walked gracefully, like a model.
Yuuki, captivated by her beautiful back, kept walking.
Before he realized it, the street was empty except for him and the girl.
After about five minutes from the station, she suddenly stopped and slowly turned around.
Confirming Yuuki’s face, she frowned and began walking quickly.
Wondering what was wrong, Yuuki followed the route on the map app, and she turned in the same direction.
Her pace quickened, and she occasionally glanced back, eventually breaking into a run.
By the time Yuuki turned the next corner, she was gone.
(Could it be… Did she think I was a stalker?)
A fateful reunion had turned into the worst possible encounter.
Yuuki looked up at the sky and let out a deep sigh.
After walking another 100 meters, he finally reached his destination.
The area was a quiet residential neighborhood, and there stood a strikingly modern two-story designer share house.
The property was quite large, surrounded by a fence, with an intercom at the gate.
When he pressed the button, Asuna answered after a moment.
“Yes~? Oh, Yuuki-kun, hang on, I’ll open it now.”
The gate opened automatically.
(Wow, it’s automatic… That’s cool.)
At the entrance, there was a nameplate reading “Shinomiya” and a sign that said “Share House Venus Lounge.”
At the front door, there were security gates on either side of the porch.
Yuuki was impressed by the thorough security measures.
When he rang the doorbell, the door opened, and Asuna greeted him with a smile.
“Come on in~ Yuuki-kun, I’ve been waiting for you.”
Asuna should be in her late 20s, but she looked much younger than her age.
“Nee-san, it’s been a while.”
Yuuki’s heart raced at how stunningly beautiful Asuna was after so long.
“It’s been, what, four years since we last saw each other…? You were still in high school back then, but you’ve changed so much… You’re all grown up now.”
Asuna saw traces of her late husband, Daiki, in Yuuki.
“Thanks for calling yesterday. I was at a loss after the fire, so this really helps.”
“No, no, it must’ve been tough. I happened to call Dad for something else and heard about your apartment fire. I was so worried. But I’m glad you’re safe. Let’s not stand here talking—come inside…”
