“Woah, so this is it…”

“It’s a really big gym, isn’t it?”

We successfully arrived at the large gym near the station, and we stared at the exterior, which even from the outside seemed like quite a sizable facility.

“Oh, Senpai. There are a lot of people going into the gym. I guess being near the station makes it popular?” 

“Yeah, that’s right. Being able to drop by on your way home is probably pretty convenient.”

We had been standing in front of the gym for about 10 minutes, and during that time, several customers had gone inside. Hmm, but still…

(Wow, there are way more female customers than I expected!)

All the people entering the gym so far were women. By the way, the customer who just went in was a perfectly proportioned woman in her mid-twenties wearing a suit. Could it be that the gym was full of mature women like her??

(Which means… this is a facility where those mature women are working out and sweating?!)

That was kind of sexy. Come to think of it, at school I only met girls around my age, plus or minus a year… but here, there was a possibility of getting to know mature women. That really opened up possibilities!

“? Senpai, is something wrong?” 

“…Huh?! N-no, it’s nothing!”

While I was lost in such fantasies, Hikasa, who was standing next to me, asked with a puzzled expression. I couldn’t tell her what I was thinking, so I just laughed it off.

Well, we obviously couldn’t just keep standing in front of the gym building observing the women going inside, so we decided it was about time to enter the gym ourselves.

“Alright, shall we go inside then?” 

“Ah, yes, understood!”

Saying that, we went inside the gym.

“Welcome! Welcome to Rise Gym!”

There was a reception desk right at the entrance of the gym, so we decided to go there first and talk to the receptionist.

“Excuse me. We saw your flyer and came because of the special discounted monthly fee for the grand opening. We’d really like to join.” 

“Oh, yes! Thank you for your patronage. I’ll prepare the necessary documents, so please wait a moment.” 

“Yes, understood.”

After saying that, the receptionist began taking out the necessary documents from a drawer. In the meantime, we looked around the area.

“The interior is really elaborate and clean-looking. This seems like it would be really popular with young people.” 

“The flyer mentioned it’s a gym with a younger demographic, so maybe the interior is designed to attract that clientele?” 

“Ah, I see. Come to think of it, all the customers we’ve seen so far are pretty young.” 

“Yeah, really. We’ve only seen young women so far.”

It seemed that the changing rooms were near the reception, and customers in training wear had been passing by us. About 80% of those customers were women. Hmm, this seemed promising (if you know what I mean).

“Here you go, sorry for the wait! The necessary documents are ready, so please look them over.” 

“Ah, yes, thank you.” 

“Thank you.”

While I was thinking such thoughts, the receptionist brought out the necessary documents and placed them in front of us. I was about to look through the documents, but there was something I was curious about, so I decided to ask the receptionist.

“Excuse me. By the way… what’s the gender ratio of members at this gym?” 

“The gender ratio? Please wait a moment.”

When I asked that, the receptionist started checking on her computer. Well, the main reason I came to the gym was to look at healthy women working out!

…What? You’re asking if I didn’t come to work out myself?? At this point, working out my own body didn’t matter at all!

“Thank you for waiting. Our gym’s gender ratio is approximately 3:7, with women being the majority.” 

“Oh, I see, I see!”

As expected, I found out that this gym had a significantly higher number of female members. This gym might be the best after all.
