“By the way, how old are you, Shironeko-san?”

“Ah, I’m 16, a first-year high school student!”

“Ah, I see! That’s really close in age to me! I’m 17, in my second year of high school!”

“Eh, r-really? We’re so close in age!”

With this new knowledge, I continued to enjoy the FPS game while chatting with Shironeko-san. As I mentioned earlier, all of my online friends were male, so this was my first time playing a game while chatting with a girl.

Sometimes, I saw posts on Twitter or gaming forums where girls were recruiting fixed members for their teams. But whenever a girl posted a recruitment, a bunch of guys rushed in, so there was almost no chance to play together. Plus, in today’s world, some people even lied about being girls to get attention. So, I’d never really had the experience of playing games with a girl.

(…Wait! But maybe… in this world, if I post a recruitment on Twitter or something, would I get tons of DMs from girls…?!)

That was totally possible, right? I should try opening Twitter later! But for now, I decided to enjoy my chat with Shironeko, the first-year high school girl with me.

“Shironeko-san, how long have you been playing this game?”

“Let’s see… about half a year, I think?”

And so, I decided to cheer on Shironeko, the first-year high school girl, in her pursuit of youth. But just cheering her on felt a bit bland, and I wondered if I could try something a little more flirtatious. If I did that in my original world, I’d probably get blocked instantly, but well, in this reversed world, it should be fine. Plus, she was pretty much my age, so if she got upset, I could just laugh and say I was joking, and she should forgive me… well, that’s what I thought anyway.

“Man, Shironeko-san, you’re really living the youth life, huh? I wish I could have that kind of youth!”

“Ahaha, but Aoi-san, you’re in your second year of high school, you can still have plenty of youth, right? Don’t you have a girlfriend?”

“A girlfriend? Ahaha, nope, definitely don’t have one! In fact, because of that, I’m super frustrated right now, ahaha!”

“Ahaha—wait, frustrated!? Really?!”

When I said that while laughing, Shironeko-san seemed surprised and made a playful comment back.

“Yeah, that’s right! But, uh, do you not like talking about these kinds of naughty topics, Shironeko-san?”

“Eh!? N-no, I actually really love talking about that stuff! But it’s pretty rare to meet a guy who talks about this kind of thing, you know.”

“Ahaha, I definitely don’t talk about this kind of stuff in real life. But since it’s the internet and you’re a girl around my age, I thought I could talk about things I can’t normally discuss at school!”

“Ah, I see! Yeah, definitely can’t talk about this kind of thing with schoolmates!”

That was a lie. I was, in fact, talking about incredibly dirty things in class today with some girls. But I didn’t mind, and tonight I’d have a fun conversation about naughty things with an unknown high school girl!

Shironeko-san seemed to be the type who answered things pretty openly. Well, I guess that was the nature of online conversations—people tended to be more relaxed. Plus, maybe it was easier to talk since we were around the same age.

“Wait a second, why am I the only one saying this stuff?! That’s not fair! Aoi-san, you tell me—how do you handle it?”

“Eh? Me too? Haha, well, I guess I do the same as you—watch porn videos or read ecchi manga.”

If I were in that senior’s position and a younger girl came up to me with that request, I’d be thrilled… but then I remembered—this world had reversed views on this kind of thing. If a girl were to say something like that here, she’d probably be seen as strange and avoided instead.
