Summary
The protagonist, Ichikami Ryu, has never once been popular—and on top of that, he's a massive siscon!
Desperate to become popular, he puts in effort after effort, but every attempt ends in failure, making him a rather pitiful guy.
While half-giving up on himself, yet still clinging to a last shred of hope for his final days of youth, Ryu enrolls in high school.
There, he discovers that the school has a strange system known as the Grade-Based Student Council, where student council duties are divided and handled separately by each grade.
Without paying it much mind, Ryu gradually gets used to his school life—until one day, out of the blue, the class representative invites him to join the grade’s student council.
After much hesitation, Ryu decides to accept… and that decision becomes the trigger for something unthinkable:
his first-ever popular phase!?
However, no matter how much affection is directed his way, Ryu dismisses it all as simple misunderstandings, letting the girls’ feelings slip past him.
Is there a reason for that...?
No matter how dense he is, the girls refuse to give up.
A protagonist who desperately wants a girlfriend and to be popular, yet can’t bring himself to believe in love—
and the girls who still won’t give up on him.
Thus begins a wild, incomprehensible, and downright ridiculous school life full of chaos and persistence.
