Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V5 Chapter 59 & 59.5
Chapter 59: “Is Ibaraki Doji on the Move?”
Madoka Abe pressed a hand to his throbbing head, slipped on his shoes, and staggered out of the room.
“Hey, M-Madoka! What are you doing? You’re sick, you need to stay in bed!”
Goro Kumazaki rushed after him in a panic, but Madoka kept walking without a word.
“Madoka!?”
“Damn, what’s with that pale face of yours?!”
Hearing Kumazaki shouting, Madoka’s older sister, Kirara Abe, and Onsa Abe—both living in the same apartment building—came running. They froze in shock when they saw his condition.
“…I have to go. She’s waiting.”
“What the hell are you talking about?!”
Kumazaki grabbed his arm, but somehow that skinny body carried enough strength to drag along Kumazaki’s massive frame.
“Madoka, wait!”
“Hey, damn it! Don’t you get what your sister’s telling you?!”
They followed him into the elevator, yelling desperately, but he gave no response at all.
“…A spell.”
Kirara muttered as she glanced at Madoka’s blank expression. Someone had cast something on him.
She couldn’t tell if he was being controlled or simply lured somewhere—but either way, it was bad news.
“If only big brother were here—”
“Don’t be stupid! He’s not here, so relying on him won’t help us now!”
While Onsa shouted, the elevator stopped, and Madoka stepped out again.
“Hey, Madoka! Snap out of it alrea—huh—?!”
Just as Kumazaki tried to seriously hold him back, an overwhelming force crashed down from above.
The crushing pressure forced him to his knees on the spot.
Kirara and Onsa were no different—they buckled under it too.
“…I’ve come to get you, Madoka.”
A white-haired oni in a kimono reached out her hand toward him.
“Ibaraki Doji—!”
Kirara immediately recognized her and cried out the name.
But Ibaraki Doji only scowled, irritated, and turned the hand she had stretched toward Madoka in Kirara’s direction.
“Out of my way. Die.”
The single strike, bursting with explosive spiritual power, carried more than enough force to kill Kirara.
No—this wasn’t just aimed at Kirara.
Every human present, the entire apartment building, even the surrounding structures would be caught in the blast and wiped out.
“Barrier!”
Onsa shouted, bracing herself against the incoming attack.
“Well, well… even though you’re my daughter, you’ve been running wild out here, haven’t you? Can’t say I ever raised you properly, but still—when you go too far, this old man’s gotta step in and set you straight.”
Before Onsa and the others’ desperate defense could even be tested, a massive middle-aged man appeared.
With nothing but a single, raw punch, he completely canceled out the oncoming strike.
Two sharp horns jutted from his forehead.

The Abe family is about to join forces with the Mukaijima gang!
Chapter 59.5: Interlude – “Mukaijima Monster Agents, Right?” ④
“You bastard! Do you even know who I am?! I’m the rightful heir of the Dopnnyanya Pirate Crew—Tama Angelo Maruns Orjun Nekota, damn it!!”
Tama barked at the newcomer, Mammon.
But to Mammon—the great demon who bore the sin of Greed—Tama wasn’t a threat at all.
“Mammon. Seems Tama wants to meow and strut, but how pointless. I may be greedy, but I’m also busy, mammon-mammon. After this, I’ve got video editing to do—and I need to plan a date with Ako-san. So let’s wrap this up quick, mammon-mammon.”
“Cut the crap with that stupid speech quirk!”
“Not nearly as ridiculous as your full name, mammon-mammon!”
Blinded by anger, Tama fired his gun—but not a single bullet reached Mammon.
His aura formed an invisible barrier, stopping them cold.
“I was looking forward to seeing how strong an alien could be… but this is disappointing, mammon-mammon.”
Mammon casually flicked his finger upward.
Tama’s massive body slammed into the ceiling, then crashed back down hard against the floor.
Just that tiny gesture was enough to leave Tama’s face a bloody mess, writhing in agony from the pain.
“Mammon-san, you’re crazy strong!”
“Mammon-mammon… if I recall, you’re that fujoshi who’s friends with Amaterasu, right?”
“What kind of memory is that?! I’m Ginko Aoyama!”
“A trivial detail, mammon-mammon. Anyway, are these all the enemies? I heard you were fighting space pirates, so I came as backup, mammon-mammon… but it looks like I’m overkill, mammon-mammon.”
“No, seriously—having that cat-eared old guy show up was dangerous in way too many ways. You really saved us.”
It wasn’t about Tama being strong or weak. The real problem was the visual damage—he looked so absurd that they couldn’t even focus properly on the fight.
The fact that Mammon faced him without flinching only made Mammon seem even more abnormal.
Maybe a guy who always tacked that silly “mammon-mammon” onto the end of his sentences simply didn’t care if some buff dude had cat ears and a tail.
“Mammon-mammon. So, that one’s a hostage? How dull, mammon-mammon.”
“Yeah, but thanks to you, Mammon-san, we’re saved. Really, thank you.”
“No need for thanks. I owe a debt to Natsuki Yura, mammon-mammon.”
As Mammon said this, his gaze swept across the area—clearly searching for someone.
“What’s wrong?”
“Mammon… I don’t see Natsuki Yura anywhere, mammon.”
“Ah—if you mean Natsuki-kun, he went to Kyoto to beat up Shuten Doji. He’s not in space right now.”
“M-Mammon…?”
“Sorry to cut into your shock, but hasn’t your speech quirk gotten worse?! Did you always throw around that many mammon-mammons?!”
Ginko couldn’t help snapping at Mammon, who looked crushed after realizing Natsuki wasn’t here.
And just then—
Outside the spaceship, Susanoo-no-Mikoto appeared, having finished completely obliterating every last pirate ship.
“Mammon… don’t tell me Susanoo-no-Mikoto is actually here, mammon.”
“You know him?”
“Of course… that bastard once called my beloved speech quirk—bestowed upon me by Samatan-sama—‘lame.’ And yet now? He struts around saying susa-susa all the time! I may be a greedy demon, but I’m also a proud demon! That’s why Susanoo-no-Mikoto and I don’t get along, mammon-mammon!”
“Uh oh. Yeah, this smells like a fight about to start. Jack-san, time to head back! Hurry, please!!”
〜〜Afterword〜〜
And so begins the great battle of mammon-mammon vs. susa-susa!
