Chapter 61: “Isn’t That a Kappa and Spring Cabbage?” ①

Natsuki was trembling with excitement.

Right in front of him was a kappa—something he hadn’t even seen in the other world. It was a cute little kappa with a small, three-head-tall body. It looked almost like a mascot character, so adorable it was hard not to find it endearing.

“Why cabbage? Isn’t your main food cucumbers?”

“…Cucumbers alone don’t provide enough nutrition.”

“Oh, uh, sorry about that.”

Natsuki was taken aback by the reasonable explanation for why the kappa had stolen cabbage instead of cucumbers. Feeling apologetic, he gently set the kappa down.
