Returned from Another World, Earth Turned Out to Be Quite the Fantasy Too. Also, Losing Heroines, Stop Looking This Way. - V2 Chapter 47
Chapter 47: “It’s actually exciting, isn’t it?” ①
“…Monday, huh.”
Natsuki sighed heavily as he got up from his bed and began to change his clothes.
Instead of wearing his school uniform for middle school today, he was getting ready to go to the Minazuki household.
“Returning from another world to find that reality hits differently with a bit of fantasy is pretty cool. But from Lucifer to Amaterasu? These are big names, almost too grand. Meeting them isn’t something you’d expect in a normal fantasy setting. This encounter itself is like a fantasy!”
The reason for heading to the Minazuki house was because Amaterasu, taking over for the local deity Mizuchi, had descended.
Natsuki had heard from Tsukiyomi-sensei, who turned out to be a god, that Amaterasu was coming. He had wanted to believe it was just a clever divine joke. Being informed by Miyako Minazuki that she really had arrived left him speechless.
“It’s been eight days since I came back from another world. What a whirlwind.”
Despite the surprises, he wasn’t hating it.
Life was far from boring; his circle of friends and family had grown.
Had he not been summoned to another world, had he not returned with powers, he wouldn’t have experienced these days.
He found himself a bit thankful to that otherwise shitty other world.
“…And to think Kazuto would be joining us at the Minazuki household, I never saw that coming.”
Originally, Natsuki and Ginko were supposed to go to the Minazuki house alone.
Naturally, they wanted to keep the existence of the aliens, Jack and Nancy, a secret. Even though Jack and Nancy were okay with revealing their true identities to trustworthy people, there were limits. Since not everyone in the Minazuki family could be guaranteed to be good, caution was necessary.
Koume, an angel, known as Lucifer, was also a concern. The Minazuki family, despite being psychics, would likely be confused by Koume’s presence, so they had asked her to stay home.
However, Koume insisted on coming, arguing, “If Amaterasu is there, having Lucifer won’t be surprising! Just don’t reveal my name!” In the end, they agreed to bring Koume along, partly because Natsuki felt it wrong to leave her behind, adopting a “let what happens happen” attitude.
They planned not to volunteer Koume’s true identity, keeping her powers to a minimum and treating her as just another psychic.
Kazuto was another issue. After saving Alphonse, Michael’s son, from an attack on his way back from the Yura house, Kazuto found himself embroiled in a world of psychics, gods, demons, and even aliens. Though he had decided to embrace this unusual reality.
But deep down, he’s still just a middle schooler. It’s only natural for Kazuto to want to see Amaterasu after learning about her appearance.
When Natsuki asked Miyako about bringing Kazuto along, she simply said, “If he’s involved, it’s fine.” So, they agreed to go to the Minazuki household together.
Why the Minazuki family agreed to let Kazuto come along remained a mystery, but Natsuki chose not to think too much about it and just trust their decision.
Even though the Minazuki family offered to send a car, they decided to go in Ginko’s car instead, politely refusing the offer.
“Well, let’s see what happens.”
Natsuki felt a little excited.
Amaterasu is a deity known to everyone in Japan.
Of course, Natsuki was curious about what she looked like and how she talked.
Even though he knew he was enjoying a fantasy on Earth, Natsuki tightened his smile.
