Reincarnated as the Villain Who Experiments on Orphanage Kids – Why Are the Test Subject Girls Begging Me for "Night Experiments"? - Chapter 7
Chapter 7: I’ll Let You Attack Me
“I’m not trying to save the world or anything, okay?”
When you get right down to it, the whole thing started because of Priere’s misunderstanding.
It all began on the day my past-life memories came back, when she got it into her head that I was trying to save the world. I never had any intention of doing that, not even a tiny bit.
“Besides, even if I don’t save it, there’s no problem. Someone else will do it.”
The big premise here is that I’m the villain. In the original story, I’m an executive in the enemy organization. I’m not the hero who saves the world, not the protagonist, nothing like that.
That means no matter what I do or where I am, the ending of the original story won’t change.
The organization gets destroyed by the protagonist’s hand.
That’s a fixed fact.
“So we don’t have to worry about the organization at all. Right? Let’s all just get along, live peacefully, and slurp some ramen together.”
“……………………………………………………”
I made such a wonderful suggestion, but Priere stayed looking down, her face completely blank as she listened intently to what I was saying.
She probably couldn’t believe it. She didn’t know about the protagonist’s existence, after all. But even so, I couldn’t exactly tell her about the original story. This was going to be tough to convince her.
Because, look, Priere’s shoulders were trembling like crazy, and it looked like she was about to explode any second.
“That can’t possibly be true!”
Her voice cut through the heavy silence like a knife.
“Sai doesn’t want to save the world? There’s no way I can believe that!”
“But it’s the truth.”
“Then what is this laboratory? What about all these massive documents?”
Priere glanced toward the shelves and pointed at a huge pile of papers. They were filled with detailed notes about human experiments.
“Explain it to me! What on earth is all this?”
She fixed me with a sharp stare. The two girls on either side of her were also shooting me questioning looks, and there was nowhere to run. Still, I couldn’t tell them the truth, so,
“No, really. I seriously have no plans to save the world. I’ve never done any human experiments either. See, I never intended to do any from the start. I had no intention of running experiments.”
In the end, all I could do was dodge the question. Yeah, the only way was to steer everything toward it all being Priere’s imagination from the very beginning.
It was a memory from when I was ten, so if I pushed hard enough, there was a chance I could brush it off.
But my thoughts were cut off by a bomb of a question from Priere.
“Sai, five years ago you took my clothes off, right?”
“………………Ah.”
That question was bad. Because I didn’t have any way to deny it.
“No, that was…”
“Answer with ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ Sai, you took my clothes off, right?”
She asked again. It was an extremely difficult question, but if I had to pick one, there was only one answer I could give.
“……………………………………………Yes.”
“Exactly. Sai took my clothes off.”
What the heck. I hadn’t done anything wrong, but for some reason cold sweat wouldn’t stop running down my back. It felt like Rafal and Fioraia’s stares had gotten even stricter. They were probably treating me like a total pervert.
“There’s more!”
But she wasn’t stopping there. She kept firing off harsh questions like a raging wave.
“You declared that you would give pleasure to me while I was completely naked, right?”
“That’s a misleading way to put it.”
“The only answers allowed are ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ You declared that you would give pleasure to me while I was completely naked, right?”
“…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Yes.”
“You said that if I did the experiment, I’d feel good, right?”
“………………………………………Yes.”
“You said you’d hold me gently, right?”
“Yes… wait, huh? I don’t think I said that part—”
“My hypothesis was right after all!”
Before I could even question it, Priere’s eyes sparkled.
“That’s right. Sai was running experiments to save the world!”
She wore an ecstatic expression and looked at me with eyes full of something like faith. It was definitely not the kind of face an orphanage kid should be showing. Where the heck did I go wrong with her education?
The sight was so much that I clutched my head. But Priere wasn’t stopping at that.
“Of course, please don’t worry. We intend to support Sai with everything we’ve got.”
“……………………”
“Now, let’s save the world together! …is what I’d like to say, but,”
While I was still clutching my head in a daze, Priere suddenly paused. Curious, I looked up. She placed both hands on her chest and murmured,
“Sai is probably wondering this.”
“I’m not wondering anything, though?”
“Whether we’re lacking in fighting strength.”
“I’m not thinking that, though?”
“Whether we’re not even close to being worthy of standing at Sai’s feet. You’re probably anxious about that.”
“I’m not anxious at all, though?”
“So I thought about it. First, we should show our strength to start with.”
“Haa…”
Show our strength? That wasn’t even the main issue here. Before anything about strength, we needed a proper conversation first—
“So, I’ll let you attack me.”
Priere declared it in a completely calm tone. For a second, I couldn’t understand what the words meant.
“Huh?”
“We’ll prove our strength. We’ll show that we have power worthy of Sai. That we’re worth experimenting on. We’ll prove it by attacking you.”
“No no no, that’s not what I meant…”
“Prepare yourselves!”
Why did every single conversation keep going in such a weird direction?
I hadn’t said anything at all. It wasn’t even about doubting their strength or anything like that.
“So that’s it. This is like a test, right?”
“Hmph, sounds fun. This Fioraia will prove that she’s the strongest.”
“Everyone, now is the time to prove our power!”
Why was the conversation moving forward on its own! And what did she mean by attacking me? Wait, was “attack” supposed to mean that kind of thing?
I glanced over and met the three girls’ fierce stares. Their eyes were filled with the raw instinct of predators ready to pounce right away.
“It’s all a misunderstanding!”
But no matter what I said, it was useless. It was decided that I was going to get attacked by them, and my cold sweat just wouldn’t stop.
However, starting the next day, things would get way worse than just cold sweat.
“Sai, please experiment on me!”
“Master, experiment on me!”
“Hmm, I guess I wouldn’t mind letting you experiment on me.”
The girls had started doing something outrageous to show their strength.
I never imagined their way of demonstrating power would turn out like this…
At that moment, I had no idea what was coming.
