Please Don’t Let the Woman in Front of Me Cry - My Yandere Subordinate and the Three Idiotic Magical Girls Should Stay Out of My Way - Chapter 18
A girl alien with gray antennae stood bound, hands tied behind her back.
The sight was so bizarre that the boss was speechless for a while.
After some thought, he decided to take her to his room anyway.
Making way through the crowd, the boss led her to his room, accompanied by Aizu and his subordinates.
The boss was pondering. As long as the other party was likely an alien, merely tying her hands wouldn’t give them any advantage.
There could be a possibility of something unforeseen happening.
However, on the flip side, if this alien possessed tremendous power, it could be a significant opportunity for them.
“Who exactly are you?” the boss kindly inquired of the alien.
“Well, in your terms, I’m an alien,” she replied.
The boss felt she was utterly calm; rather, she exhibited no vulnerabilities.
“So, why have you become a hostage?” he asked.
“When I arrived on Earth, there was a woman who took me in, not knowing her left from her right,” the alien began her story.
“She was lazy, hardly worked, and sought easy money through gambling. Using my copying ability, she created counterfeit bills and made a fortune, and that’s how I ended up as a hostage when it was discovered.”
The alien chuckled slightly.
“But didn’t you have to become a hostage?” the boss said.
Mulling over, the alien responded, “Still, being a hostage might reduce the chances of that woman facing danger. She was the worst, but it’s the gratitude for a night’s lodging and a meal.”
The alien spoke as if it were a matter of course.
Boss, subordinates, and Aizu were profoundly moved by her story.
“Boss, I can’t see this child as a hostage at all,” a subordinate said.
“I’m new here, but I agree,” Aizu added.
The boss nodded in agreement.
Something intrigued them, and a subordinate, seemingly curious too, asked the alien, “Earlier, you mentioned a copying ability. Can you use superpowers?”
Laughing, the alien answered, “Most of the abilities you imagine I can use. For example, I can read your thoughts, so what should we do next? Might it be something like this?”
Pointing at the boss, she made him completely stiffen.
“Wow! Amazing!” the subordinate exclaimed, showing a rare childlike surprise.
The boss couldn’t move at all. The alien gently stroked the nape of his immobilized neck.
Contrary to the boss’s wry smile, the alien continued, “Right, subordinate-san. For example, moving next to you without waking up the boss is a piece of cake for my abilities.”
It seemed the alien had decided whom to follow.
“Fantastic, alien-san! Boss, we should make her our comrade! No, we will!” the subordinate exclaimed.
“Haha, well, let’s do that…” the boss laughed, agreeing without any other option.
“By the way, alien-san, how long can you stay on Earth?” Aizu asked with a calm, robotic perspective.
“Well, I was thinking of returning when I get bored, but it seems fun to be with you guys. There’s no particular deadline, so may I join your group?” the alien asked with a cool smile.
