“I’m home.”

“Onii-chan!”

Kana hugged me as soon as I called out that I’m home.

Apparently, she had a day off from club activities today, or she was home earlier than us.

“What’s up?”

“I’m going on a school trip tomorrow~ I’ll be lonely.”

I looked at the calendar and saw that it was October.

I went to the same junior high school as Kana, and now I remember that this was the time for the school trip. 

“Is Kana’s grade also going to Kyoto?”

Kana looked at Yumika next to me. 

It would be troublesome if she says that she won’t buy anything……I wonder what will happen.

“Would you like a souvenir too, Yumika-san?”

“I will be glad to receive a souvenir from Kana.”

“Okay, I’ll get you something.”

“Thank you. I’ll look forward to it.”

Yumika smiled when she heard Kana’s words.

The conversation put me at ease, too.

Yumika couldn’t hide her excitement and my mother was worried about her.

After finishing her meal, my mother patted me and Yumika on our shoulders.

My mother was worried about whether we would be able to spend time together properly, but I had bigger problems.
