My Little Sister Suddenly Confessed to Me, but What Am I Supposed to Do by Dating My Little Sister? - Chapter 93 & 94 & 95
Chapter 93: The Secret Trip
“E-e-e-Oni… Oni… Oniihya… Hyaaaaa!”
A completely naked Shiori flusters about in my arms.
How’s that! I showed her that I’m not just the one being messed with all the time!
I discovered recently that even though she’s usually the aggressor, she immediately loses her composure when I suddenly turn the tables. Shiori, like me, has never dated anyone. She has plenty of knowledge—likely from the endless Isekai fantasies she drifts off into—which makes her seem experienced at first glance. But it’s just surface-level knowledge. I bet that when it actually comes down to it, she’ll shrink back. My read was spot on.
‘Fuhahaha! How’s that? Panicked, didn’t you? Don’t think I’m just going to do whatever you say forever, Shiori!!’
I made a smug face as I said that in my head… wait, did I say that out loud? No, I was just shouting internally. What am I doing? This is the part where I say a cool line and finish with a triumphant look! Alright, one more time—
“…………”
…Wait, my voice won’t come out. Why? …Ah, I see. My plan had a major flaw. I underestimated the greatest weakness of this strategy.
To pull this off… I have to be composed too.
Right now, we are hugging in a bathroom. Two completely naked people with no towels. Since we’re hugging, I can’t actually see her; my eyes are fixed somewhere near the door.
“Fueeee… Oni… Oni-oni… Onii… chan.”
Shiori’s voice is crystal clear in my ear. Well, of course it is; her face is right next to mine.
I can distinctly feel two incredibly soft things pressed against my solar plexus.
But more than that sensation, I feel the sensation of skin.
Human skin touching human skin, moving slightly… the feeling of skin over muscle. “There is definitely skin here!” is the best way I can describe it. It’s an incredibly difficult sensation to explain—partly unsettling, partly wonderful, a confusing mix of feelings transmitted through my entire body.
So this is what it’s like to hug while naked…
No, no, this is no time for such thoughts. What do I do now?
Obviously, I can’t take this any further. I haven’t set this story to 18+, after all… No, that’s not it. Acts contrary to public order and morals are strictly prohibited in places like this.
What do I do? What do I do?
“Don’t run away, don’t run away…” No, this is no time for escaping reality with old anime gags.
“Hih, hih, peee—”
“Eh?”
Just as I thought I heard some strange Lamaze breathing, Shiori’s strength vanished. She went limp.
She collapsed right there, sinking into the bathwater… Eeeeeeeeehh?!
In a panic, I pulled her out of the water and held her in my arms.
“Aaaaah, she’s so soft and smooth… No! This is no time for that!”
Even though I’m not cursed by a crab, I lifted her lightweight body and dragged her out of the tub.
I quickly wrapped her in a nearby bath towel and carried her to the changing room.
I laid my limp sister gently on the floor and threw another provided towel over her, making sure to cover her exposed thighs.
“Hey! Shiori! Are you okay? Hello?!”
She didn’t respond to my calls…
Wait, is this bad? Did she drown?
Anxiety flooded my mind.
‘W-w-what do I do?! This is bad! She’s gonna die! Shiori’s gonna die!’
I frantically shook her, but her eyes remained closed.
“What do I do? CPR? Heart massage?”
I remembered to tilt the chin to clear the airway and pinch the nose… I mobilized every bit of knowledge I had.
I brought my face close. Her flushed face was right there. Her plump lower lip was glistening as if she were wearing lip gloss.
A kiss? No, it’s artificial respiration. I have to hurry. I think brain damage starts if they aren’t revived within three to five minutes…
I pinched her nose and brought my lips toward hers…
Toward her lips…
Her lips…
Are they pouting?
Shiori was puckering her lips, practically begging for a kiss…
“Y-Y-YOUUUUUUUU!!”
I slumped over with a massive sigh. I got played. She turned the tables on my turn-the-tables move.
“Onii-chan, huuuuuurry up~~~”
Shiori spoke while keeping her eyes closed and her lips puckered.
“Get up already! You’ll catch a cold!!”
“Ehhhhh.”
“Don’t ‘Ehhhh’ me! Seriously, stop doing stuff like that. It’s bad for my heart. I thought I’d lost you… I thought you were dead…”
Just the thought gives me chills. My brain refuses to even process the idea. I can’t imagine a world where my sister doesn’t exist.
“Ah… yeah, you’re right. Sorry, Onii-chan…”
Clutching the towel to herself, Shiori sat up. Thank god… seriously.
“But Onii-chan, you hugged me just to surprise me! This was just payback!”
So she did it on purpose. But if she teases me too much, I really might…
“Anyway, I’d like to get back in the bath, but we have to be out of here in about 40 minutes. Shall we head out? We can go to the large public bath afterward, or go to the stargazing event.”
“Stargazing, huh? I wonder if it’ll be as pretty as it was in Ishigaki?”
“Ah, well, it probably won’t be quite on that level.”
“But it sounds fun. Let’s go, Onii-chan.”
“Yeah, okay.”
Shiori was sitting with her legs stretched out. And then, she dropped a bombshell of a sentence…
“By the way, Onii-chan… since you don’t seem to have noticed, I’ll tell you… You aren’t wearing anything right now… Ehehehehehehehe.”
“Eh?”
I looked down… Ah.
“SH-SHIORI! DON’T LOOOOOOK!”
I frantically turned around. She saw me. Completely. And from a direct eye-level perspective…
“Ehh? You saw me naked too, Onii-chan. Now we’re even.”
“I did not! I wrapped you in a towel immediately! Wait, you were conscious the whole time?!”
Pretending to be unconscious… she went that far? Her acting skills were incredible. Does she have a talent for that too…?
“Ah, well then, let’s show each other one more time. Here, Onii-chan.”
I didn’t know what she was doing since my back was turned, but likely—
“No ‘here’! Just put your clothes on. The event is going to start.”
“Ehhh, this is the main event, so I don’t care about the rest~~ Come on, Onii-chan, look, look! Show me more!”
“Are you a nympho?!”
I thought this time would be different, but I really can’t beat this sister of mine… I don’t feel like I’ll ever win…
Well, I suppose that’s fine…
Chapter 94: The Secret Trip
“Come on, Onii-chan, show me~~ Show me properly~~”
“You saw! You saw everything! Ah, man, I’m ruined. I’ll never find a wife now…”
“I’ll take you, so it’s fine!!”
We managed to get dressed while bickering back and forth. It seemed my sister was watching me the entire time while she changed, though I kept my back turned to her.
The reason I knew she was watching was because…
“Onii-chan, your butt is so clean~~ Your back is pretty broad. Oh, I found a mole!”
She was like this the whole time… Please, give me a break.
We returned to the room and put on fleeces. Even in midsummer, it gets quite cold at night up here. When we headed down to the lobby, a fair number of people had gathered.
We boarded a minibus parked in front of the hotel. The average age of the other passengers was quite high, so we stood out a bit, but there were families with children too, so it wasn’t overly awkward.
The bus started moving. Our destination was near the Tower of Beauty, where we had walked earlier today.
After driving for a bit, an incredible sight came into view.
“O-Onii-chan, what’s that? Cows? There are so many big animals!”
My sister, looking out the window, raised her voice. In the darkness, I could faintly see a herd of large animals. They weren’t cows.
As everyone else noticed and began to look, the driver—who was also our guide—explained that nocturnal deer come out at night to eat the salt provided for the cows.
“Deer? Ah, I see. So those were the ones I saw from the bath earlier…”
“Onii-chan, their eyes are glowing! It’s scary~~”
Just like humans, animals need salt. It’s especially hard for wild herbivores to get enough sodium since plants contain very little of it. Carnivores get it from their prey, but herbivores have a tough time. Apparently, they sneak out every night to feast on the cows’ salt… Is that even allowed?
On a side note, the cows grazing here have no shed; they’re just left out. They apparently just sleep wherever they want at night… Cows are amazing.
The bus stopped, and we got out. I thought it would be pitch black, but the moon was out today, making it somewhat bright. When the moon is out, you can’t see the stars very well.
The guide began explaining the constellations. Shiori and I moved a little away, holding hands and looking up at the sky together.
“Hmm, as expected, we can’t see as many as we did in Ishigaki.”
“But the moon is beautiful… I wonder if Mitsuki-chan is crying? Now that you’re gone, Onii-chan.”
“It’s not like I’m gone forever.”
“I’d cry if I were her. If I couldn’t see you for a while… so Mitsuki-chan is definitely crying right now. You’re so dense, Onii-chan…”
“…’Dense’ again, huh…”
I really don’t get it.
My sister and I continued to gaze at the moon until it was time to head back.
When we returned to the hotel, tea and steamed yams were waiting for us. Since the clientele is older, the service is a bit old-fashioned, but this hotel is quite interesting with its abundance of events and hospitality. There’s even an event to see the sunrise tomorrow morning.
We went back to the room and changed into our sleepwear. We both changed normally; it’s scary how being in our underwear around each other is becoming regular.
Since pajamas take up space, we didn’t bring any and wore the hotel’s samue (work clothes). When I wear it, I look like an old man, but Shiori looks cute in hers.
Once she finished changing, my sister knelt formally on her futon. I thought, Wait, is something starting again? and sure enough, it did…
“Onii-chan, I am a clumsy person, but I hope for your kind favor.”
She placed her hands on the floor and bowed deeply… Where did she learn those manners?
“Um, what is that?”
“We’ve seen everything now, so I think you and I should move to the next stage. It seems to be expected of us, after all.”
“By who? More importantly, I’m not doing anything. We’re just sleeping.”
“Ehhhhh? We aren’t doing anything?”
“No! What would we even do?!”
“Ehhh, you know, se—”
“AHHHHHHHH! Don’t say it!!”
“Secular talk?”
“Why would you bow and say ‘I am a clumsy person’ just for secular talk?!”
She’s teasing me again. Honestly, Shiori-san is quite the skilled teaser.
“Ehhh, I mean, you can do whatever you want with me, Onii-chan. Should I strip for now?”
“Now you’re doing Kambara-san…?”
“Then at least let’s share a futon. Please, Onii-chan? I won’t do anything, I promise.”
“You’ve got the genders reversed in that line. Ugh, fine, whatever. Let’s sleep.”
“Yay! I love you, Onii-chan!”
My sister and I climbed into the futon. Even though I’ve gotten used to being together lately, I couldn’t fall asleep immediately. Since it was still a bit early, we talked about various things.
“Hey, Onii-chan, summer vacation has been so much fun.”
“There’s still more than half a month left.”
“Yeah, but compared to last year, it’s been unimaginably fun.”
“Well, you were studying for exams last year.”
“No, I was suffering back then. I was in love with you and it hurt. Every time I looked at you, I wondered why it had to be you… But now, I’m just glad I love you. It makes everything so happy and joyful…”
“In just four months, so many things I wanted to do with you have come true. Compared to last year, it’s incredible. So many wishes have been granted that it’s almost scary.”
It’s what they call a “death flag”—worrying that something bad will happen because things are going too well.
“Yeah… I never dreamed things would turn out like this with you either, Shiori.”
It was true. Until last year, we were just normal siblings. Since her confession this spring, things have changed so much in just four months. But I’m having a lot of fun, too.
“There are still so, so many more things I want to do with you. Will you cooperate?”
“Cooperate…? Well, there are things I can do and things I can’t.”
“Then, how about a larm-pillow?”
“Hahaha, sure. Here.”
“Ehehe, another dream came true~~”
Her small head rested on my arm. She smelled like the shampoo we used today, but I wonder why it turns into such a sweet scent on her…
That fragrance was incredibly soothing, and a wave of sleepiness suddenly hit me.
“Onii-chan? …Did you fall asleep?”
My sister was saying something, but my consciousness was fading, and I couldn’t quite make it out.
“Onii-chan… if… weren’t… us…”
If we… didn’t exist?
“I… last… dream…”
Last? Dream? My sister’s last dream? I wonder what that is?
Thinking that, I eventually lost the battle to sleepiness and fell into a dream.
Chapter 95: The Secret Trip
“Ow, ow, ow…”
I woke up in the early morning to the stinging numbness in my arm. No matter how light she is, acting as a larm-pillow for an entire night is brutal.
I gently slipped my arm out so as not to wake her. In the silent room, the only sound was my sister’s peaceful breathing. Looking at her happy sleeping face filled me with a warm, fuzzy feeling.
“Well, I’m wide awake now…”
Come to think of it, I hadn’t visited the large public bath yet. Might as well go… Just as I started getting ready—
“Nn… Onii-chan… where are you going…?”
“Ah, sorry, did I wake you? I was just thinking of going to the bath.”
“Eh!!! Let’s go! I’m coming tooooo!!”
Her energy levels for bathing are way too high.
“We aren’t going to the private one, though.”
“Ehhhhhhhhhhh.”
Give me a break so early in the morning.
After much persuasion—telling her we had to experience the hotel’s famous public bath—we headed out separately. We walked down the silent hotel corridors, our slippers pattering against the floor. After stopping the “habitual” sister from trying to follow me into the men’s side, I sent her to the women’s bath and went inside.
Since it was early, no one else was there. I quickly washed up and stepped into the prized semi-open-air bath. It was designed so the water seemed to spill over the edge into the abyss. Looking out—
“Whoa… amazing!”
“Whoa! It’s incredible!!”
“Eh? Shiori?”
“Onii-chan?”
I heard her voice from somewhere nearby. It seemed we had looked outside and shouted in admiration at the exact same time.
“This is incredible…”
“Yeah! I’m so glad we came!”
We both basked in the scenery.
“The hotel above the clouds”—that was the selling point, and the view was exactly as promised. A sea of clouds stretched out like an ocean, with mountain peaks poking through like islands. The clouds flowing with the wind looked like waves; I was mesmerized. It was an even more magnificent sea of clouds than the view last evening.
Neither of us spoke after that, but I knew we were savoring the same landscape. I soaked in the tub, reflecting on the first half of summer vacation that had passed in a flash—from Ishigaki to here. Shiori, Michiru, Asami, Mitsuki… so much had happened.
Thinking back to my middle school days when I had zero interaction with girls, I felt like I should share some of this luck with my past self. Wrapped in these luxurious thoughts, I left the bath to find Shiori waiting outside.
“You could have just waited in the room.”
“I wasn’t waiting that long. I just thought you’d be coming out soon.”
“I see. Sorry to keep you.”
“Mm-hmm.”
Shiori linked her arm with mine.
“Getting used to this might be trouble when we get home. Like, if we accidentally link arms at the house…”
“I’m perfectly fine with it if you are, Onii-chan.”
No way. If Mom saw that, what would she say? A family council would definitely be convened… maybe? With that flighty mother of ours, she might just say, “Oh, I see,” and leave it at that.
We packed our things and went to breakfast.
“Wow, there’s so much!”
Breakfast consisted of a long row of small bowls, featuring what I assumed was Shinshu specialty food.
“Mm, delicious.”
“Is this soba ‘Shinshu Soba’?”
The meal felt a little lonely, bringing the realization that it was almost time to go home.
“Please enjoy your coffee at the window seats.”
Following the suggestion, we moved to the window. The service was so good it was almost a bit much, but the majesty of the view was moving. The sea of clouds from earlier had vanished, replaced by green mountains and ranches. The deer from last night were gone, replaced by dots of cattle.
“Onii-chan, how are we getting back?”
“Well… I still want to see the art museums and the gondolas, and Lake Suwa is close, but transportation is a pain. If I could drive, we could go anywhere. Unfortunately, there’s a shuttle from here to Matsumoto, so I think we’ll take that.”
“Yeah, true… Ah, but it’s really over. I’m so sad~~”
“Me too. I want to come back.”
“Should we sneak away every time we visit Azumino?”
“That’s fine, but we’ll get caught eventually.”
“We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it, Onii-chan.”
We shared a light promise over coffee to return. After that, we checked out without having time to lounge in the room and boarded the shuttle bus to Matsumoto.
At Matsumoto Station, we retrieved our bags from the locker, bought some quick souvenirs, and boarded the Limited Express for Shinjuku.
“Wow, this looks so good!”
Shiori smiled while stuffing her face with an ekiben (station bento).
“Didn’t you just eat?”
“What are you saying, Onii-chan? It’s already past noon.”
“Ah, right. A few hours pass in ten lines of text. Four months in 200,000 characters, but just ten lines for several hours… what is this time difference… Hurry up the pace.”
“Who are you talking to, Onii-chan? Be careful, delusions can become a habit.”
“Coming from you, Shiori, that really makes me want to be careful. Thanks…”
Finally, we arrived at Shinjuku. We reached the house just as evening was approaching.
“By the way, is Mom home today?” I asked while unlocking the front door.
“Wait a sec,” Shiori said, checking her phone. Why won’t Mom tell me her work schedule?
“Umm, she’s on the night shift today, so no one’s home…”
Shiori said that just as I pushed the door open…
The instant the door opened, a small object charged at me from the hallway!!
“YUU-NIICHAMAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”
For some reason, Mitsuki—who was supposed to be in Azumino yesterday—was in our house…!!
“Mitsuki? Eh! What happened?!”
“You told me I could come play whenever I wanted! So I came~~ Onii-chamaaaaa!”
With the agility of a rabbit, she leaped onto my neck and kissed me on the cheek!!
“UWAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!”
Seeing this, Shiori was suddenly shrouded in a pitch-black aura and started saying something very strange…
“…Onii-chan… remember when we arrived at the hotel and there were those purple flowers? Do you remember? …”
“Eh? Why are you bringing that up now, Shiori-san? More importantly, help me with Mitsuki…”
I remembered seeing some beautiful purple flowers, but…
“I’m going to go back and get those now.”
She smiled brightly at me while watching Mitsuki cling to me and pepper my cheek with kisses. It was the first time I’d seen her smile in a while where her eyes weren’t smiling at all…
“Um… what exactly were those?”
I didn’t really want to know, but the question slipped out…
“…Monksho*d…”
With a beaming smile, my sister turned to leave the house…
Stop ittttttttt! Don’t go! Not that! Anything but thattttttttt!!
My summer vacation is far from over…
