Foreword
Hello, this is Iko, the author.
Continuing with the character introductions—this time focusing on the supporting cast.
ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー
【Character Introduction : Carrie (Big Sis) ⑩】
・Hort’s older sister
・Appearance: Reddish-brown hair tied back, a mature woman.
She gives off a dignified presence, yet her smile is gentle.
・Background: The eldest daughter of the Rubel baron family.
Understanding both the family’s circumstances and reality, she worked hard to secure a high-quality husband.
More than anyone, she understood Hort’s “overly kind flaw.”
When Hort was crushed after being abandoned by Rina, instead of comforting him, she first drilled “accountability” into him—and pushed him forward to become a man who wouldn’t run away.
She also made him face the fact that he had been nurturing the feelings of multiple women, scolding him while forcing him to accept that responsibility.
・Personality: Deeply caring, yet hardworking and grounded.
She doesn’t spoil her younger brother—strict, but kind.
The type who says what needs to be said.
Her love for her brother is heavy.
・Current: Acts as the “final brake” whenever Hort is about to go out of control.
A grounded, common-sense perspective from the family side.
【Character Introduction : Brother-in-law ⑪】
・Carrie’s husband (Hort’s brother-in-law)
・Appearance: A muscular, quiet carpenter.
・Background: He honed his skills as a carpenter and later started his own construction-related business as a merchant.
In the end, he achieved great success—and now dotes on Carrie.
・Personality: Calm and rational.
He acts as a buffer to balance out Carrie’s intensity.
Kind to Hort, yet reliable enough to teach him the realities of life as a brother-in-law.
・Current: While successfully running his business together with Carrie, he also supports Hort.
【Character Introduction : Magnum Flabo Galactica ⑫】
・Romantic rival
・Appearance: Tall, flashy, and handsome.
Always wearing a confident smile.
・Background: The eldest son of the Galactica ducal house.
He looked down on others using his status and bloodline, and had plenty of experience with women.
When Rina was appointed as the top court mage, he tried to take her from Hort as just another addition to his list of conquests.
To Hort, he was simply “the man from the ducal house that Rina chose.”
He later became the central figure in the demonization incident.
Behind the scenes, he had ties with the remnants of the demon cult and sought to prove his strength by gaining demonic power.
As a result, he turned into a demon and clashed with Hort inside the royal castle.
Although he gained a new magic called “Galactica,” he was ultimately defeated when Hort’s continuous attacks (Flowing Blade) surpassed his regeneration.
・Personality: Arrogant, vain, and obsessively fixated.
Unable to accept defeat.
・Combat Style: Originally specialized in fire-based magic (Fire Blow), but after becoming a demon, he used the domain-type “Galactica,” creating a space like a star map that controlled gravity and spatial pressure.
・Current: His case spread as a demon incident throughout the royal capital, becoming the trigger for the investigation into the Galactica house.
【Character Introduction : Dias ⑬】
・Hort’s rival in swordsmanship
・Appearance: A serious, quiet, ruggedly muscular handsome man.
・Background: A classmate of Hort and Rina, and the one who graduated top in practical swordsmanship.
At graduation, he confessed his feelings for Rina to Hort and resolved to take her from him.
However, as a knight’s attendant, he travels frequently, leaving him with few chances to meet Rina, and they gradually grew distant.
His superior is one of the Crown Knights.
・Personality: Serious and stubborn.
Loyal in his own way, but not very flexible.
・Current: While serving as a knight’s attendant, he continues to refine his swordsmanship with the goal of becoming a Crown Knight.
【Character Introduction : Bind (Vice-Commander of the Second Knight Order) ⑭】
・Vice-Commander of the Second Knight Order
・Appearance: Large and rugged, with a scarred face, sharp eyes, and a shaved head.
・Background: He initially failed to realize Adelheid was being pressured by others and instead saw her as the Marshal’s daughter avoiding training, leading to friction between them.
However, after being called out by Hort, he came to understand the situation correctly and became a key figure supporting Adelheid in the Second Knight Order.
He reins in her recklessness while also believing in her strength and sense of responsibility more than anyone.
After Hort became involved with the Second Knight Order, Bind acknowledged his abilities and began helping him as well.
・Personality: Strict and field-oriented.
Rough in speech, but principled.
Surprisingly adaptable, and a reliable leader-type superior.
・Combat Style: A practical fighter focused on heavy armor and shields, with strong leadership ability.
・Current: A stabilizing presence who takes on the commander’s workload and acts as the shield of the Second Knight Order.
【Character Introduction : Uru (Adventurer / Beastwoman Warrior) ⑮】
・A reliable beastwoman warrior in an adventurer party
・Appearance: Beast ears and tail, with a well-trained physique.
Her smile is bold and lively.
・Background: An adventurer Hort met during his time off.
Like Nagi, she despises how demi-human women are enslaved or mistreated, so she tests men traveling with demi-human women to see if they’re trustworthy.
She met Hort when he protected Nagi, and since then, they have become trusted friends.
・Personality: Big-sister type, very caring and compassionate.
Not the type to overthink things.
・Combat Style: A close-range warrior.
Uses powerful weapons like a halberd or greatsword (image-wise). Also capable of handling defense.
・Current: Continues working in the royal capital as part of a party with Nagi.
【Character Introduction : Ramune (Magical Girl) ⑯】
・The magical girl of the adventurer party
・Appearance: A colorful outfit and staff—perfectly fitting the magical girl look. A small, childlike witch.
・Background: Joined Uru’s adventurer party when Nagi was taken in.
During that time, Hort taught her spirit summoning, and she gained considerable power.
Even so, she didn’t grow arrogant—she continued studying, aiming to become a proper witch in the future.
・Personality: High-energy little-sister type.
Friendly and a bit clingy.
・Combat Style: Specializes in water magic and supports the team.
・Current: Nagi’s close friend and a member of the same adventurer party.
【Character Introduction : Zina (Elf) ⑰】
・The brains of the adventurer party. A hunter skilled in scouting.
・Appearance: Long ears and pale-colored hair.
A quiet beauty with an ageless look.
・Background: When Nagi was taken in, she was already part of Uru’s adventurer party, acting as an older-sister figure.
She’s straightforward and has a wealth of experience and knowledge.
・Personality: Calm and hard to read.
Possesses sharp observational skills.
・Combat Style: An expert archer who also uses spirit magic.
・Current: Active as a member of Nagi’s adventurer party.
