Lonely Me And The Lonely Caring Goddess - Chapter 140 - The Third Collaborator.
I Reincarnated As A Trash Prince
Chapter 140: The Third Collaborator.
“Kazuma, how’s the progress with young lady Nishikawa?”
I’m so fed up hearing that line over and over again.
As always, father must think that I’m his tool.
“I’m trying my best to show off to her. But it’s not going well.”
“Lady Eri Nishikawa”, as my father calls her, is my favorite girl.
She was above all the girls I’ve ever dealt with. A real “ojou-sama” that money or luxury brands don’t have an effect on. And my appearance too, has no effect.
I could say that there are two reasons why I really like her.
First was her father.
Nishikawa’s father was the chairman of the Nishikawa Group. A large company and business partner of my father’s company. It would be nice to say ‘partner’ but my father’s company is financially dependent on the Nishikawa Group because of the company’s poor financial management.
So no matter what, he wants me and Eri-san to be in a relationship for the sake of the future.
And the second thing was a simple one.
I fell in love with Eri-san. Compared to Eri-san, other girls look so childish.
So, regardless of my father’s intention, I will pursue Eri-san.
“Also, are you getting used to that? Having in mind good subordinates will help you in the future.”
After I graduate high school and enter the university, I will be involved with management.
That’s why upon my father’s order, I gather people that will be my subordinates and hold social gatherings (groups) on a regular basis.
And as someone who stands at the top of them, I bestow them charity, or in other words, “familiar”.
The number of people was getting bigger so this might be the time to bring in the girls and their entourage.
Of course, if things get personal after this, I won’t get involved.
There’s no way I would repeat the same mistake like the Sagawa incident.
Money and girls. The quickest way to make them obey,
These two things are absolutely necessary if you want to win someone in negotiating.
Father always does that.
Women always approach me in order to win over my father’s attention.
There’s probably someone telling them what to do. Flirting with a kid? I find that hilarious. It’s only natural that I look at them as trash even more.
In middle school, I was a kid so I always thought that was fun and all.
There were lots of girls who confessed to me. However, in the end, all they want is money and my looks.
It was fun since they were also having fun.
And it’s because of this environment that I became who I am.
You could say I was also a victim.
——————————————
“I understand what’s going on but it’s kinda hard to believe with just LINE and a photo.”
As Hayato pointed out, it would be difficult to use only those to pinpoint the people involved in the scandal.
“If possible, I want to hear it from Todo-san’s friends; however it can’t be helped if they don’t want to.”
As I said that, Todo-san shook her head in disagreement.
“Yoko still hold a grudge for Yamazaki and Sasagawa. I’m not sure if we should call it a victim alliance, but since I got to know someone who holds a grudge against Yamazaki… But if this matter gets resolved, then Yoko might be able to laugh and play like before.”
Todo-san showed a saddened expression. She truly cares for her friend.
Though it’s of a different kind, I also hold a grudge against Yamazaki, so it’s not like I don’t understand where she is coming from.
The reason she reacted proactively when my burst of emotions got the hold of me was because she wanted to free her friend from the shackles of the past.
“Takanashi-kun, Yoko and another person might cooperate with this. Do you want to meet with them?”
“Then let’s go meet them. However, what about Senpai and Yokogawa-kun?”
“I have decided to take on this challenge together with Kazunari-san, so I’ll go with you.”
Sara-san replied while staring directly at me.
“Of course, I’ll go. There’s no way I’ll miss this.”
“Please include me too. I might be involved in this already.”
Everyone agreed. We arrived at the station, then afterwards, dispersed.
——————————————
“Once again, my name is Tachikawa Yoko.”
We decided to use a large karaoke room since it would be difficult to discuss things in a family restaurant.
I haven’t got an idea of what a karaoke room looks like. But from what I can see, it’s cheap, convenient and spacious.
It was cute to see Sara-san looking around like a curious cat. So she hadn’t been to a karaoke bar before, either.
After the drinks had arrived, we then started introducing ourselves.
We introduced ourselves first and after Tachikawa-san, a suspicious ruffian introduced herself.
“Nice to meet you… Don’t mind me too much. You can call me something like Hanako.”
It’s obviously not her real name… Well, it’s not important right now, I guess.
After everyone finished their greeting, Hanako-san talked to me with curious looks.
“So, from what I heard, you wanted to destroy Yamazaki?”
I was surprised by how straightforward she was. I looked towards Tachikawa-san who was smiling and continue the story.
“Actually, Hanako-san went to the same middle school as us. Though it’s the first time I saw Takanashi-kun’s face. Hanako-san said that she wanted you to listen to something.”
She wanted me to listen?
“As I was looking for Yamazaki’s weakness, I got a recording of Sasagawa talking with her friends. Here, listen to it.”
After saying so, Hanako-san took out her phone and pressed the play button.
“Yamazaki-kun gave me an advice~”
This was definitely Yuzuha’s voice.
She looked like she was talking to someone.
“For now, I’ll make Kazunari the bad guy and apologize once I find happiness. After all, if I apologize, my childhood friend will forgive me. He was the one who said to me to do whatever I want and he’ll forgive me no matter what.”
Hah…?
I remember saying that a long time ago but that’s not what I meant.
Whatever are you thinking Yuzuha?
“Umm… Takanashi-kun, that’s not what you meant by forgiving someone right?”
Natsumi-senpai asked me dumbfoundedly.
“Yeah, of course.”
“It’s alright. This girl is deliberately believing this. She wants to assume that it’s okay because you said so to escape her feelings of guilt. That it’s okay to do terrible things because you’ll forgive her anyway.”
I don’t know what’s okay about it, but it was a very convincing analysis of it.
Now that I think about it, maybe I had that childish thinking in middle school?
Bang!
I heard a loud bang on the table. Upon turning, I saw Sara-san who was sitting beside me, her hands on the table. All of us were surprised.
“Excuse me…”
Sara-san retracted her hand with a face looking like she was holding back on something.
Just maybe… she was angry because of Yuzuha’s selfishness.
I held Sara-san’s hand which hit the table.
She was a little jumpy when I did that but nestled onto my shoulders quickly and calmed down.
“Umm… Why did you start flirting?”
To Hanako’s question, Natsumi-senpai was the one who answered.
“It happens all the time. So don’t worry about it.”
I love Sara-san. I’m not ashamed to admit it, even if she shows her unsightly side. And besides, it’s for my sake that she was angry.
“But it’s now clear that Yamazaki was one of the factors that changed Yuzuha. I have one more reason to thank her, huh.”
I tried answering with a calm and collected look. However, since Sara-san was beside me and being spoiled, I guess I’ll leave it for later.
