The Epilogue After-Story 3
——The New Teacher Who’s Popular With the Students——
“Sensei!”
“Hmm? What’s wrong?”
After class ended and it was lunch break, several female students called out to me.
“What happened after that? Please let me hear what happened next!”
“Eh… Well… Is it okay if we do it while eating lunch?”
“Of course!”
“Yay!”
“Hurry, hurry!”
As the students urged me, I went to the teacher’s room to get my lunch, and then we all decided to head to the roof.
“Um… Where did we leave off last time?”
“The culture festival! How was the play?!”
“Ah, right. Well then, ahem.”
The students were so interested that I decided to recount the story
The culture festival of my third year of high school. Our class was going to put on a play, and it was a love story. The main roles were of course me and Reo-kun. Nanami-chan, who was in a different class, and Akari-chan, who was in a different year, protested that it was unfair. Well, I bribed them a bit.
Reo-kun was very popular at that time. To begin with, he was good-looking and kind, and there were several girls who even tried to get in as the sixth girlfriend. Reo-kun didn’t realize it, but it caused Sakura and I a lot of trouble.
So, I came up with a certain plan for the play. It was an ad-lib that wasn’t in the script during rehearsals.
The story was reaching its climax. It was supposed to end with me being rescued by Reo-kun, who was playing the prince… but just before the curtain fell, I gave a deep kiss to the unprepared Reo-kun.
The gymnasium was in an uproar, but thanks to Kotone-chan, who was backstage and grinning while holding up the curtain, I was able to show off to my rivals.
Of course, I got yelled at by our teacher afterwards, but…it was no big deal. I’m good at handling things like that.
“…And that’s why it’s still talked about as the legendary culture festival.”
“So that story was true…”
“You’re so bold, Sensei!”
“Do you have any photos from that time? I’d like to see what Sensei’s husband looked like when he was young!!”
“Hmm… Let me check… He wasn’t a fan of photos, so I’m not sure…”
I opened the image folder on my smartphone and tried to look for it. I scrolled all the way down, but there were no old photos… Ah!
“…This brings back memories.”
“Eh? There’s a photo? Let me see too!”
“Oh, no, it’s not from the play. It’s a photo from the culture festival a year before that… Do yo want to see?”
“Totally fine!!”
The students looked at me, and I showed them the photo. Just thinking about it now brings back memories. It was a cherished photo taken with the dim rooftop lighting and the campfire in the schoolyard in the background. It’s truly a page from my youth. Of course, it’s a secret that we were all kissing like crazy before taking that photo.
“Wow… Sensei, you were so young… And your husband was so cool…”
“That’s amazing… Youth is so great…”
“It’s fine to admire youth, but remember, don’t get involved with a guy who’s five-timing, okay?”
“Here comes Ibuse-sensei’s classic line!”
“Anyone who allows a five-timer is just as bad!”
“If it were me, I’d never tolerate it.”
“Eh~?! I’ll make the next quiz more difficult for you!”
After that, we continued to have fun and make noise on the now livelier rooftop, spending another ordinary day.

T/N: For those confused, Noa married Reo and took his family name.

So Noa became a teacher, Nanami became a V-Tuber, Sakura became a housewife, Shion maybe became a police officer after finishing university ?(Police officer cosplay ? We all know they would do that.) No idea about Akari though, maybe housewife too ?
Anyways, I am thankful for more of these after story chapters showing how each of them went on with their lives together.
Says the girl who got involved with a five timing guy lol
