“The festival suddenly becomes very crowded. Do you want to go play some games, Onii-chan?”
“Yeah. Looks like we should give up our seats. If I remember right, the game booths were mostly gathered over there?”
As the two of them cleared the table and started walking, multiple discrete gazes followed them. These were the users from the City Prince thread, who had come here after hearing about the Takeda sighting yesterday.
“Yesterday, I heard this place was full of hotties, but I guess there’s no way today will be the same…”
So they thought, but they were still secretly hoping for a fateful encounter with a handsome guy.
To those hopeful girls, the joyful news was delivered: “The Half-Naked Prince has appeared again.”

>>Currently at a certain shrine. I’ve run into the Half-Naked Prince. I mean, there’s no way, right?! There’s no way there could be two guys that hot. So this has gotta be the real Half-Naked Prince.
>>Where?! WHERE WHERE WHERE WHERE WHERE???
>>Calm down. If you get too hyped and charge in, the police will grab you. Take a deep breath first.
>>But still—!! Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale…
>>Good, good. We can’t let City Prince produce criminals and if even one of us makes a scene, the Half-Naked Prince might run off.

Very good. Let’s all behave with decency and restraint.
>>Sensei! Is sniffing the lingering scent allowed?
>>It’s allowed, but only after he’s walked a certain distance away.
>>Okaaay. Whoa! He smells so good. Sniff sniff. But this scent… I feel like I’ve smelled it somewhere recently?
>>Wait, what?! Are you sniffing him right now?! Where are you?!
>>Bench in the eat-in area. Securing the spot where Half-Naked-kun was just sitting.
>>I’m coming too. Hold it for a bit!
〈Understood Stamp〉
>>The lingering scent is tempting, but I’m tracking the real deal. I might even get to line up and play a game next to him!
>>I want to sniff the real thing, not just the leftovers…
>>BUZZ BUZZ!! Inhaling from the source violates the Three Rules!
>>I-It’s fine if it just accidentally wafts over, right?
>>Ah! I remember now. That scent… It’s EXA’s body soap.
>>The lingering scent? Then Half-Naked-kun really uses EXA products.
>>And according to the official EXA website, he’s obsessed with pudding and eats it all the time.
>>That pudding is famous, right? That pudding à la mode café?
>>What’s that? What’s the café got to do with anything?
>>You’ll find it if you dig into the past threads of City Prince. And because I’m super nice:

〈Gratitude Overload Stamp〉
>>Thank youuuuuu!!
>>Oh yeah. He was originally called the Pudding Prince.
>>He likes pudding à la mode? That’s way too cute!
>>I just checked the past threads. The waiter… Half-Naked-kun was a waiter?!
>>He was wearing proper clothes though.
>>You went there? You figured out the place just from that bit of information? So? What was he like in person?
>>Well of course, my heart got hit by a smile beam that could shatter literal glass. I’m already a prisoner of the prince.
>>So lucky. I wanna see him in real life. Think I can still make it to the shrine?
>>It’s still early, and as long as no one causes a scene, he might hang around for a bit.
>>Everyone, calm down! For the sake of shared happiness, no sneaking ahead. Act with dignity!
>>It’s great that Half-Naked-kun showed up again, but… Did the other hot guys disappear after all?
>>There aren’t as many as yesterday, but there are still some at the food stalls. I’m lining up now.
>>Is it true that food stalls have fresh young guys in traditional clothes?
>>It’s true. They definitely look underage, probably high schoolers? Maybe a few are college students too.
>>There’s one seriously hot guy. One that looks kinda like a shota boy. One who seems light and carefree. One who’s tall and manly. The variety of types is *chef’s kiss* good!
>>For real? Can you talk to them?
>>Yeah. Just basic shopping talk, but they’ll talk to you with a smile on their faces.
>>I’m going. No time to be browsing the internet at home!
>>I’ll go pray too while I’m there. The shrine’s supposed to be famous for matchmaking, so maybe I’ll get lucky.
>>By the way, where exactly is this shrine?
>>You don’t know anything at all?! I’d love to tell you, but City Prince rules say we can’t give the exact location.
>>Check the past threads. There are tons of hints. As long as you’re not totally off-area, you should be able to find it by looking through the hints.
>>Thanks! I’ll give it a try!

Chapter 100: Sunday – After the Festival
ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー
Daikoku Festival had ended, and Yuuki’s family could finally relax. In the living room where the siblings had gathered…
“Rin-nee, so what are you going to do?”
“What do you mean, what am I going to do?”
“Don’t play dumb. It’s obviously about Katagiri-kun!”
“Rin-nee, are you angry or something?~”
The ones boldly prodding their eldest sister, Rin, were the fearless third and fourth daughters—Tomoe and Madoka.
“I’m not angry. Why would I be angry in the first place?”
“But come on. Katagiri-kun was totally coming on strong with you, Rin-nee, and yet… It looks like he totally has some kind of shrine maiden harem fantasy.”
“Yeah, yeah. From the looks of it, I don’t think he’s going to be all-in on just Rin-nee.”
During the two-day Daikoku Festival, three boys from Class C—Katsuya Katagiri, Nagatoshi Hirano, and Yasuharu Wakizaka—had worked part-time as vendors at the stalls. Including their younger brother Ren, that made four young male vendors. Their presence caused a buzz online, leading to record-breaking sales unlike anything seen before.
From the shrine’s business standpoint, it was a resounding success, but for the four Yuuki sisters—especially the eldest, Rin—it didn’t seem like it was all good news.
“We get that Katagiri-kun really loooves shrine maiden outfits. But I’m not so sure I’d want someone like that as my brother-in-law…”
In addition to the boys, several young women had also been hired as temporary workers during the festival. Surrounded by girls in shrine maiden outfits, Katagiri had clearly been smitten and that wasn’t all…
“He was totally ogling some really cute shoppers too.”
“Even though he was like, ‘Please watch how hard I’m working!’ to Rin-nee.”
Despite how busy he had been, his rather promiscuous behavior hadn’t gone unnoticed.
“Come on, you two. Don’t be so harsh on him. We already knew Katagiri-kun had a shrine maiden fetish, and that’s probably why he volunteered to work in the first place.”
It was the second daughter, An, who gently rebuked the twins for criticizing Katagiri.
“Well, sure, but he was way too flirty with other girls right in front of Rin-nee.”
“He needs to match his words with his actions!”
“I won’t deny he was ogling a bit, but it wasn’t enough to interfere with his work. I think a little flirting is inevitable. At least it shows he’s interested in the opposite sex.”
“You’re lucky, An-chan. Hirano-kun looked like the flirty type at first, but he stuck to you like glue the whole time.”
“Yeah, that was a surprise. Good for you, An-chan! He might actually be a catch.”
The two older sisters fired back at the twin sisters, who were saying whatever they pleased.
“Hey now, don’t exaggerate. We were so busy, there wasn’t even time to cling to each other. Besides, don’t try to twist it to sound more entertaining! You talk like you don’t have a similar problem!”
“That’s right. Instead of fussing over us, you two should start thinking more seriously about your own situations. Out of the four sisters, not a single one of us has a partner. I can understand for me, being the heir and all, but Mom’s really worried about you two.”
“But there just aren’t any good guys around!”
“Exactly. At this rate, Ren’s going to beat us to it. Isn’t there a decent guy lying around somewhere?”
“Ren got hit on at the stall, didn’t he? What happened to that?”
“Those two girls were his classmates, right? That’s what Wakki said.”
“Come on, Ren! What’s the deal with that!”
Trying to dodge the line of fire, the older sisters ranted all at once. But Ren, paying them no mind and staring at his game screen, declared bluntly:
“That’s exactly why you two don’t have boyfriends. Tomoe, Madoka. You’re way too noisy.”
“You brat, Ren!”
“Boo, boo!”
“So annoying… Those two… Nabeshima and Tahara—I ended up dating them. So leave me out of your nonsense.”
Ren shut Tomoe and Madoka down, who were like nagging sisters-in-law. Perhaps their existence was one reason he acted so aloof toward women.
“Ughhh. You really told us to ‘leave you alone’ now… Even though you used to be so cute, always clinging to us, ‘Tomo-chan, Mado-chan,’ wherever we went.”
“Did we raise him wrong?”
“It’s good that we’re close, but just because you’re twins doesn’t mean you’ll always be together. Including myself, it’s probably time we all seriously start looking for partners. If we actually want to get married, that is.”
An gave them a pointed warning.
“Hmm. I do want to get married, but it’s not like just anyone will do. If possible, someone tall, athletic, handsome, and who doesn’t flirt with other girls in front of us. And personality-wise—not clingy, but gentle, and with a great sense of humor. If only someone like that existed…”
“If someone like that did exist, no way would he still be single. He’d already be swarmed by girls. You’d have to be willing to elbow your way through the competition and jump in, and let’s face it—we’re not like that.”
These twins talked tough to their siblings, but were surprisingly timid at heart.
“Right? I just don’t like the idea of shoving others aside and shouting, ‘Me! Me!’ I’d really prefer it if the guy made the first move.”
And they were surprisingly passive when it came to romance.
“But honestly, doesn’t that sound exactly like Takeda? Except for the sense of humor part. You spent all that time skiing together during spring break, and you didn’t make a move?”
“Takeda-kun? Well… Sure, he does match the criteria, but he’s just too dazzling. He debuted in showbiz and became everyone’s prince.”
“And don’t you think he seems a little indecisive? If anything, I’d prefer someone a bit more assertive…”
“You two are way too picky. If you’re even finding faults in a guy like that, you’re never going to find anyone.”
“Ren’s right. Takeda is perfect. It’s like he was custom-made to perfection and you two still finding fault with him?”
“Boo, boo! Ren and An-chan, you’re both so mean!”
“Totally! Maybe I should just settle for Wakki?”
Madoka let that slip unexpectedly, making Tomoe stare in shock.
“Huh? Wakki? You mean that Wakki?”
“Yeah, that Wakki. He’s a little shorter than my ideal, but he’s kind, and even though he’s bad at snowboarding now, he seems like he’d genuinely try his best to improve, so I thought maybe he’s a good choice.”
“Wakki… Wakki, huh. If we told him not to look at other girls, do you think he’d listen?”
“What’s with that doubtful tone? Wakizaka is actually pretty popular at school, you know. He’s approachable and friendly. I doubt he’d go for a girl trying to control him.”
“What?! Wakki is popular?!”
“Of course. A nice guy who’s easy to talk to? Of course he’s super in demand.”
“…Yeah, that makes sense. Even a grump like Ren got hit on.”
“Speaking of Wakizaka-kun, I saw him getting along pretty well with the part-time girls. He seemed happy exchanging contact information with them.”
“What the heck! Wakki, you little player!”
“No way! Does that mean it’s already too late for us?!”
“Kind guys are popular. That’s just how it is these days.”
“Ren, what do you mean, ‘these days’?”
“I mean, there are tons of women out there looking for healing and comfort from their daily stress. That’s why kind guys are popular.”
““Makes sense.””
The ones nodding in agreement weren’t the twins, but the two older sisters—who had started to understand how the real world worked.
