『Invitation to a Celebration for Passing the Entrance Exam』
That was what was written in neat handwriting on the front of the pure white envelope that arrived today. When I flipped it over, I saw the familiar names of my three girlfriends written together. Inside the envelope was a single message card.
『We’re throwing a celebration party in a home party style. We’re going to prepare lots of your favorite things, Yuusei-kun. So you have to come! —Yuu, Coco, Shizu』
The location was the tower apartment where Coco lived. Apparently, this time it would be just the four of us celebrating. Since it would be a small group, they said they’d reserved a short-stay guest room instead of using the spacious party room we’d used for the previous get-together.
They said not to bring any food, so I decided to prepare bouquets of different colors for each of them. I ordered them from a florist that had stylish arrangements on display and had them wrapped in colorful nonwoven fabric and ribbons to make them look festive.
Alright, let’s go.
“Let’s toast to everyone getting into their first-choice school!”
I led the toast with a carbonated drink. There were lots of drinks and food spread out on the four-person table and a folding camping table we’d brought along. Everything tasted great.
Once we’d mostly finished eating, we moved to the sofa and transitioned into a snack-fueled chat while munching on potato chips. The three of them squeezed together onto a two-seater sofa. I was in the middle, with Shizu on my right and Yuu on my left. Left out, Coco sat directly on the carpet at my feet.
“When’s the freshman orientation?”
“Just before the entrance ceremony.”
“Thought so. Kinda cutting it close, huh?”
“Soukei University has a pretty big student body, right? Do all departments do it on the same day?”
“No, it’s split into two days. But the Law Department and the Education Department are on the same day.”
“Then we can go together.”
I was planning to meet up with Yuu and go to the orientation together. The university was so big it might as well have been its own town, with each department having its own separate building. So we’d be apart once at university.
“Yeah, but the Law Department is right near the main gate, and the Education Department is all the way in the back. I heard it normally takes about fifteen minutes on foot. And with the crowd on that day, walking might be tough.”
“Would it be hard for Yuuko to guard you by herself?”
“Yeah… I’m not that confident.”
“Guard? Guard what?”
I’d just been listening to the girls chat, but when that curious word came up, I had to ask.
“Of course, we mean guarding you, Yuusei-kun. There’ll be tons of club recruiters on orientation day, and the university will be packed. Ideally, we’d have someone on both sides of you to guard you.”
“Then… We might need one more person?”
One more? Like asking Tahara-san or Akizuki-san from the same university? But that’d probably be a hassle. And who knows what their boyfriends, Yuuki or Uesugi, would think of it.
“I’m not really in favor of dragging in people who have nothing to do with it.”
“Oh, don’t worry, we wouldn’t ask Saki or Ran. Their departments are on different days anyway.”
Okay. In that case… But wait, who else is there?
“It’s fine. I’ve got someone in mind—someone reliable, and who would be happy to help.”
“Someone in mind”?
She said it was fine, but from the look on Yuu’s face, she didn’t seem all that into the idea. It’s just the new student orientation. I didn’t want to force anything too demanding on them.
“Is that so? But, Yuu, I’m fine as long as you’re with me.”
Cough, cough, cough!!
“Yuu, are you okay?”
“Cough—y-yeah. I just choked… That’s all. Thank you, Yuusei-kun.”
As I gently rubbed Yuu’s back, helping her while she teared up slightly, Coco, who had been cuddling at my feet, suddenly stood up. She was wearing a loose white knit top and a high-waisted, slightly tight mini leather skirt.
Looking both cute and sexy, Coco climbed into my lap, facing me directly.
“Hey, that line just now—‘I’m fine as long as you’re with me.’ Could you say it again, but with my name instead?”
She wrapped her arms around my neck, whispering so close that her breath brushed my bangs. And just like that, inevitably, my face was buried in something soft through her knit top.
“That’s not fair! Me too!”
Shizu, to my right, clung to my right arm and pressed in close.
“M-my spot!? Uh, then—here!”
Now Yuu was tightly clinging to my waist like she was tackling me.
What is this position…? I can’t breathe. And that’s not the only problem.
Every breath I took filled my lungs with sweet, girl-like scents. I was surrounded on all sides—front, right, and left—by softness.
Heaven. This was heaven, but still.
I felt dizzy. My instincts blew past their limit in a flash. There was no way to hide it anymore. There was absolutely no way I could “undo my transformation” in this situation. We were so close that at least Coco had to have noticed the very obvious state of my lower half.
Retreat was impossible and yet, I still couldn’t figure out the right moment to make a move.
If it were a one-on-one situation, obviously I could just go with the flow. But with three of them, I couldn’t move. I couldn’t exactly shrug off the bodies clinging to me. I felt like the order, the lines, the approach—all of it mattered, and I had no clue how to proceed.
《Install protagonist buff: 【Unstoppable Prince】?》
Oi, now’s not the time for that… or is it? Is it actually the time?
“Yuusei-kun, do you know our personal colors?”
Huh? That’s the topic you want to talk about in this desperate situation?
“The pendants you gave us—they each had a different colored gem, right? Those colors were just right for us.”
Just right? I’d chosen the same design and only changed the color stones so none would feel left out. Each pendant had a star motif with the girl’s initial. I’d picked stars because it symbolized my desire to have them all. They were still wearing those pendants now—I could see the chains around their necks.
“So the three of us talked, and we decided to each get something made to match our colors.”
Get what made?
“Hehe, this!”
Finally, those soft boobs moved away from my face—only for Coco, still straddling me, to slowly pull down the shoulder of her knit top in a showy, deliberate motion.
“Hey, does it suit me?”
A vivid red strap, like a pomegranate, popped into view against Coco’s healthy skin. The sultry fabric and delicate lace covering her full curves were all a passionate shade of red—matching her pendant’s gem.
“It does. It looks great on you.”
The contrast between the white knit and red lingerie, and her flushed skin nearly bursting out, sent a direct message to my eyes—and to my reason. Yuu’s stone was a jade-like green. Coco’s, a pomegranate-like red. Shizu’s, the blue of twilight skies.
Why those colors? Because I thought they suited them. Yuu, with her ivory skin and silky straight black hair. Coco, with her amber-toned skin and lustrous caramel-brown hair. Shizu, with her milky skin and soft flax-colored hair. I’d picked the colors by instinct, thinking they matched their skin and hair perfectly.
“I’m happy you think so. But actually, it’s a three-piece set. I want you to see it all, Yuusei-kun. I want you to check everything. But it’s kinda cold here, right? So… Why don’t we go to that room?”
“Yuusei-kun, the babydoll is really cute, right?”
“Yuusei-kun, it’s okay if we stay over, right?”
There was no way I could possibly resist this. My reason, my calm exterior—everything shattered all at once.
