Chapter 124: Kotori and Kiyora’s Assignment

“I’m Kotori Aketa, and since I’ve married Hisui Umino, I’d like to apply for an exclusive position where I can also serve as his bodyguard.”

After finishing up at the government office, I immediately contacted my workplace, unable to contain myself.

“Pffft!”

I heard my boss burst out laughing on the other end of the phone.

There was coughing and spluttering.

I said this while waiting for a response.

There was a series of coughs, a few deep breaths, and more mumbling as they tried to recover.

“Yes, I did meet him through work, but there’s nothing shady about it.”

I made sure to report proudly. It’s true we met through work, but I didn’t use my job to pressure him. His family, the Umino family, has already been informed, and they’ve approved. As for Kiyora and I, we don’t really have any blood-related family, so we’re practically alone in the world.

That’s why we have so much freedom.

I already have the qualifications to be a bodyguard, so these quick switches in duties are something I’m used to.

“Well, I’ll believe you. Later, make sure to submit a progress report, a copy of the marriage certificate, and the formal application.”

Since this is a somewhat high-profile position involving a man, if I were to leave, a replacement would naturally step in, so I’m not worried about the future.

He’s generally a kind person with a bit of a naive soul, so he rarely rejects anyone and finds it difficult to hurt others. Because of this, he sometimes overdoes things, being overly generous.

When it comes to intimate things, he’s quite enthusiastic, willing to go the extra step. He’s not picky about whether he’s the one initiating or being pursued; it just never happened until he came here. With the ability to perform three times a day, he was considered impressive in his original world, though not exceptionally rare. However, here, he’s seen as something unusual. On top of that, ever since he came here, he’s been eating secretly-made stamina dishes by Aoba, which has him exceeding his usual limits.

She has a network of family connections across various influential places and is thought of as almost supernatural due to her considerable influence and her ability to foresee things as though she’s reading people’s minds. Her assets, yielding high dividends, are rumored to be in the billions, making her financially formidable. Although she’s quite proactive with intimate things, she admits that she’s no longer biologically active, so she prefers to indulge in other ways.
