I Was Sent to an All-Female Frontline Unit to Get Rid of Some of the Trouble, but the Most Beautiful Girls Who Are Rumored to Hate Men Love Me So Much That I Have a Hard Time at Night - Chapter 51: Finn's Versatility (1)
Chapter 51: Finn’s Versatility (1)
“Is everyone… okay?” Finn asked with concern.
“What…!?” Elena exclaimed in surprise.
“No, it’s nothing!” Sephia quickly added.
“It’s no big deal!” Norn chimed in casually.
Blushing and collapsing to their knees didn’t seem like “no big deal” to Finn at all.
As Finn wondered about this, everyone began talking in voices too quiet for him to hear.
“Hey…! We’re reacting weirdly and making Teraward-kun uncomfortable…!” Elena whispered urgently.
“Teraward-kun definitely didn’t mean it like that, so let’s ask him about nighttime stretching and calm down, okay?” Sephia suggested quietly.
“Agreed…!” Norn nodded softly.
Everyone gave small nods to each other and then turned to face Finn.
One of them spoke up.
“Hey, Teraward-kun,” Elena said hesitantly.
“Yes?” Finn replied politely.
“Um… what do you think about nighttime stretching?” Elena asked nervously.
“Nighttime stretching… Well…” Finn thought aloud.
Finn hadn’t considered it much, but he sometimes stretched lightly after a bath and felt it was more effective than usual.
He thought it was because his body was warmed up from the bath, so…
“Nighttime stretching is good for health, I think!” Finn answered cheerfully.
“What!?” Elena gasped in shock.
“Nighttime stretching…” Sephia stammered, stunned.
“Good for health!?” Norn echoed in disbelief.
Instead of just blushing, everyone’s faces turned red, and they collapsed as if all strength left their bodies.
“Hey!? Is everyone okay!?” Finn shouted with worry.
As almost everyone suddenly collapsed, Finn wondered if it was an enemy attack.
“Fi-Finn-kun! No need to worry!” Elena called out reassuringly.
Elena rushed between Finn and the others as he tried to approach them.
Her cheeks were slightly red for some reason.
“Everyone just collapsed because they’re too healthy!” Elena explained brightly.
“Collapsing from being too healthy…!? I’ve never heard of that, but are you and Sephia okay?” Finn asked with concern.
Aside from Norn, who watched the battles with Finn, only Elena and Sephia remained standing.
When Finn asked to be sure, Elena replied in a flustered tone.
“I decided to hold off until we prepare in town, so I’m fine—uh, I mean, I’m okay!” Elena corrected herself quickly.
When Finn glanced at Sephia, her cheeks were also slightly red.
“I have no issues,” Sephia stated calmly.
Her words felt a bit stiff, but she didn’t seem likely to collapse soon.
Looking at everyone who had collapsed, Sephia continued.
“However, with everyone in this state, training seems difficult,” Sephia observed thoughtfully.
“Yeah! We should wait until everyone gets up!” Elena agreed energetically.
As Elena spoke with some hesitation, Norn, standing behind, spoke up.
“Then, let’s get Finn-kun’s stretching done in the meantime. We want to test Finn-kun’s basic abilities in top condition today, so stretching isn’t mandatory for everyone else, right?” Norn suggested playfully.
As Norn approached Finn, she turned to the others and said.
“Elena-chan and Sephia-chan must be tired, so you can rest. I’ll stretch with Finn-kun in the meantime!” Norn offered cheerfully.
Norn placed her hands on Finn’s shoulders from behind.
“So, Finn-kun, shall we go somewhere private? Big sister will slowly and carefully touch your stiff spots to loosen them—” Norn began seductively.
“Wait a second!!” Elena shouted loudly.
Elena pulled Norn’s hands off Finn’s shoulders.
“No way, Norn! Stretching or not, you’ll definitely make it weird!!” Elena accused firmly.
“Weird? What kind of weird?” Norn teased innocently.
“Th-that’s…! Anyway, no! Just no!!” Elena insisted forcefully.
“But—” Norn started to argue.
From there, Elena and Norn began bickering.
Finn didn’t quite follow the conversation, but he wondered if he should start stretching now.
As he watched the two, puzzled, Sephia spoke to him.
“Then, Finn-san, I will assist with your stretching, so shall we begin now?” Sephia offered politely.
“Thank you so much!” Finn replied gratefully.
Finn expressed thanks to Sephia for her suggestion, which eased his confusion.
After that, Finn began stretching with Sephia.

Alone in the meeting room, Deandre called someone to advance his plan to kill Finn.
“Excuse me,” a voice said politely.
A young man with side-swept hair entered the meeting room.
He wore a military uniform with a jacket showing he was from a duke’s family.
“You’re here,” Deandre noted coldly.
“Of course. As a soldier, I can’t ignore a summons from the higher-ups. So, why me today?” the young man asked confidently.
“Do you remember Finn Teraward?” Deandre inquired directly.
“Teraward… That commoner trainee, right? He was more skilled than other nobles despite being a commoner, so they decided to send him to the front lines to get rid of him,” the young man recalled accurately.
Some nobles knew Finn was sent to the front lines not just for his skill but mainly to dispose of him.
“Being thrown into the intense front lines, especially with women rumored to dislike men, as a mere trainee—if he were noble, I’d feel sorry for him. But since he’s a commoner, I feel nothing,” the young man remarked coldly.
“With those conditions, he shouldn’t be alive, but Finn Teraward is still living,” Deandre revealed grimly.
“Interesting…” the young man responded curiously.
“Even if he’s skilled, he’s just a trainee. I’ve seen Finn Teraward’s training many times, and he doesn’t have the strength to survive such a brutal front line,” Deandre stated confidently.
That was why Deandre worked so hard to kill Finn before he grew stronger.
“So, the women called the strongest in the Luvankrum Empire’s military are hiding Teraward, a commoner and a man?” the young man deduced sharply.
“Yes. I suspect their hesitation comes from his young age,” Deandre explained thoughtfully.
“Hah, a commoner is a commoner no matter the age. No need for hesitation,” the young man scoffed dismissively.
“I agree, but even if he’s a commoner, they might hesitate to harm an ally. So, we decided to lure the front-line unit to town and kill Finn Teraward,” Deandre declared firmly.
“I see… You want my strength, rumored to be the next top power in the Luvankrum Empire’s military, for this assassination?” the young man asked smugly.
“Exactly,” Deandre confirmed directly.
Honestly, Deandre thought there was a significant gap between this young man and the four currently called the strongest in the Luvankrum Empire’s military.
Still, aside from those four and the front-line unit, he acknowledged the young man as quite strong.
Since Deandre was sure the young man was stronger than Finn, he didn’t challenge his confident attitude.
“As I said, the front-line unit won’t attack allies like us. So, you just need to kill Finn Teraward,” Deandre instructed clearly.
“Hah, I could handle them all if they came at me, but fine. I’ll take the job of killing this commoner. I’m rumored to be the next top power in the Luvankrum Empire’s military, and I have the confidence to back it up. I hear the front-line unit’s women are quite beautiful, so that’ll be fun… I’ll have to be careful not to steal their hearts,” the young man boasted playfully.
The young man toyed with his bangs as he spoke.
His personality had flaws, but his skill was real.
With this, Deandre thought peaceful sleep was not far off.
The front-line unit would never attack allies.
Finn Teraward would fall to this young man, who was stronger than him.
With the young man’s help secured, Deandre was certain he could kill Finn Teraward and grinned widely.

By the time Finn finished stretching with Sephia, everyone who had collapsed was back up, and the time to test Finn’s basic abilities as a soldier was approaching.
“Are you ready, Finn-san?” Sephia asked calmly.
During training at the military base, Finn usually held back.
But in this place, he had no such luxury.
“Yes,” Finn replied firmly.
For the first time in a while, Finn decided to go all out.
