A month after making plans for our honeymoon, we were enjoying our summer break at home.

“Hey, Mana? You seem unusually proactive today. What’s up?”

What’s proactive is, of course, physical affection.

She doesn’t usually come close on her own, but today, while I was reading a novel on the sofa, she climbed onto my lap.

“I felt like expressing affection on my own for a change. I’m always on the receiving end, so I thought I’d take the initiative for once.”
