When we left the city office, it was still before noon.

Yuna hadn’t let go of my hand for a single moment since we left the house and went to the reception.

“Then, let’s go home.”

“Isn’t it a bit early?”

“It’s fine. Let’s go.”

I pulled her along.

I probably knew I’d get handcuffed again once we got home.

“Hey, don’t you trust me that much?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, you’re going to handcuff me again at home, right? I’m not planning to run away anymore.”

“Haa, Daiki, you don’t understand at all.”

Yuna sighed in annoyance.

“Then what do you mean?”

Yuna looked down for a moment.

“Of course it’s because I want to be alone with you as soon as possible…”

“Let’s go home quickly and go right now.”

She’s way too cute. She’s lately been doing all sorts of odd things, like handcuffing me, but she’s just so adorable.

“Oh, by the way.”

“Hm?”

“Couldn’t we have waited to get married until after high school?”

“Daiki.”

“W-what is it?”

“If we could wait until after graduation, then getting married now is fine too, right?”

“Y-yeah, I guess.”

There are still some worries about school and other things, but I think we’ll manage somehow.

“Daiki.”

“Hm?”

“I’ll never let you go.”

“I know.”

Her eyes were dark and serious as she said it.
