Chapter 11: My Little Sister and the Fanservice Heroine Are Way Too Deep in a Bloodbath
“Onii-sama, stick even closer to me! If you don’t, it won’t make a proper example!”
“A-An example!? H-Hey, cut it out—give me some space. I can’t even walk like this…!”
“Which do you prefer—walking a little awkwardly, or getting completely dried out by her!? Come on, press in harder, like you’re really rubbing up against me!”
“H-Hey, hey…! Stop grinding your head into me—stop it! Seriously, if a cute little sister does stuff like this, your big brother’s gonna stand out way too much…!”
The next morning, I was on my way to school with my sister Eru firmly latched onto my left arm.
As expected, about eighty percent of the students being swallowed up by the massive gates of Seiran Private Academy were staring straight at us. I walked along the school road feeling half unbearably awkward, and half strangely superior from being doted on by such an absurdly cute little sister.
“H-Hey, Eru. At least let go of my arm and just walk beside me, okay? That still counts as guarding me, right? This distance is just too much…!”
“What are you talking about? If I’m not clearly claiming ownership of you like this, it’s pointless! If you keep complaining, I’ll just have you carry me on your back all the way to school. Is that what you want!?”
“Of course not, of course not! …Geez, hey—don’t stare so hard just because you’re jealous. Man, this is really embarrassing…”
While I trudged along grumbling in a half-melted state, my lips and nose slack from sheer embarrassment, I suddenly heard a voice from behind—“Eh—Jeromiya…!?”
I turned around.
“Huh?”
Standing there was Chloe Mitsushima, her shining silver hair catching the light as she stared at me and my little sister with a completely stunned, dumbfounded expression.
“O-Oh, Chloe, good morning. Sorry about greeting you in such a weird situation.”
“J-Jeromiya, the girl next to you is…!?”
“Oh, this? She’s my little sister. …Hey, Eru. Say hello to your senpai.”
When I prompted her, Eru didn’t let go of my left arm.
Instead—glare!
She sharpened her gaze and stared Chloe down.
Despite being hit with such an openly hostile look, Chloe simply kept her eyes wide in surprise, not breaking eye contact.
“Whoa—she’s adorable… Jeromiya, is this girl really your sister? Seriously?”
“Yeah, I know, right? You’d think there had to be some mistake. But nope—she’s my real sister, same blood and all.”
“There you are, homewrecker…! Onii-sama, stick even closer to me! If you don’t, you’ll get swallowed whole!”
“S-Swallowed whole by what!? I’m not Majin Buu or anything…!”
“Nice to meet you, Eru-chan. I’m Chloe Mitsushima. I’m Jeromiya’s classmate, and—”
“Yes, I am well aware. Thank you for being so polite. However, as long as I am here, I will not allow you to do whatever you please. Trying to seduce my brother with those indecently huge breasts won’t work, you loose, shameless bitch!”
The instant Eru hurled that insult in her high-pitched voice, a sharp crack seemed to run across Chloe’s beautiful face as it froze stiff.
“H-Hey, Eru…!” I hurriedly tried to stop her.
A few seconds later, as if desperately trying to hide the cracks that had formed, Chloe finally opened her mouth—completely flustered.
“F-Fu~n… Jeromiya, you’re awfully close with your little sister, huh? Getting called a ‘bitch’ just a few seconds after meeting someone is a first for me, even I have to admit…”
“S-Sorry, Chloe. She might mean it, but she’s not being serious. I think my sister’s got some really weird misunderstanding about you…!”
“Who exactly makes bento for a guy who isn’t even her boyfriend by mistake? Ahh, poor Onii-sama. Just because you’re lonely, you had to get targeted by a woman this dangerously tempting… If we weren’t related by blood, I would’ve become everything to you before some loose woman like her ever got her claws into you…”
Putting on an over-the-top, melodramatic performance—oh my, my—Eru leaned her face against my shoulder, then shot a quick glance at Chloe and stuck her tongue out at her.
I let out a small yelp, and on Chloe’s face—crack—another invisible fracture seemed to form.
“…Sorry, Jeromiya. I know it’s only been a few seconds since we met, but I don’t think I’ll be able to get along very well with your little sister.”
“I feel the same, Chloe Mitsushima-san. Succubi who try to seduce my brother using their indecent breasts are to be exterminated, not befriended.”
“H-Hey, hey, hey! Why are you two declaring each other mortal enemies seconds after meeting!? And Eru—this one’s completely your fault! Apologize!”
“Even if it’s you saying it, Onii-sama, I cannot apologize for this, nor take it back. The one who should stand by your side is me—your little sister. I won’t hand you over to some random big-breasted woman who just showed up.”
“Hmph!”
Eru and Chloe snorted at the exact same time, turning their faces away and openly rejecting each other.
As for me—I was panicking like a groom caught between his wife and mother-in-law in the middle of a domestic war, darting my eyes back and forth between Eru and Chloe in pure confusion.
And then—
“Ah, Mitsushima…”
I suddenly heard that voice.
“Huh—” Chloe turned around in surprise.
“Hm?”
Both Eru and I followed her gaze at the same time.
Standing there was a male student I’d seen a few days ago—someone you’d describe at first glance as completely unremarkable, with messy bedhead hair sticking out in all directions.
“Eh? O-Oh—Yaohara, good morning…”
Chloe replied stiffly, clearly shaken.
At the same time, the messy-haired boy gave an equally vague response, something like, “O-Oh… yeah.”
Looking at him again, my honest impression didn’t change.
Yeah—he really was a plain guy.
His facial features themselves weren’t bad, but there was nothing flashy or memorable about him. On top of that, his already unruly hair was still half-ruined by bedhead.
Average height, average build, an unremarkable body, a slack, unfocused expression, and eyes that didn’t give off much intelligence.
The kind of guy you’d forget the moment you looked away.
And yet—this completely forgettable man had multiple drop-dead gorgeous girls in love with him.
Even knowing this was a romcom manga world, it still felt hard to believe.
Nayuta Yaohara—
The protagonist of this romantic comedy, Schrödinger’s Love.
And now, standing awkwardly in front of the girl he’d brutally rejected just days ago, he looked deeply uncomfortable.

The dragon ball ref sold me.. this is peak
His sister Eru is beyond rude. We get it, Chloe is curvy and her body is sexy. Does she need to take all this abuse why exactly? Are japanese people a bunch of weirdos with such an inferiority complex that they see having a sexy body like it was some kind of sin?
The story (as initially presented) is cute but the execution is cliche and in some points disgusting. I already talked about the way Reiji talks of events he didn’t participate in, which feels like a joke to the intelligence of readers, but the way his sister behaves is on the same level of absurd.
Who would let a girl they are trying to help, whose last couple of days were distressed and full of sorrow be treated like crap by his younger sister and don’t immediately intervene? Just because the little girl gave you a fvcking pudding? Huh? What kind of childish sh!t is this?
This author obviously lacks human interactions if he believes this behavior is funny or even normal. Also why Reiji didn’t warn Chloe about his sister through LINE is also pretty sh!tty of him…
