I no longer want to be a part of this triangle! - Chapter 32- Abducted~4
“Ah, the playtime is over I guess.” Hearing those words, Kohana closed her eyes as tears welled up.
She could see through the screen that the room where Riko brought her the previous time when she kidnapped her was the same where the police officers barged in. It means they fell for her trap.
Riko chuckled, “It seems one of you fools traced the obvious hints I left behind and fell for the trick. Quite foolish you are~~” The sick girl was having the time of her life.
“Riko! You don’t need to do this. Tell us where you are and I promise you won’t be sent back-”
“Utter bullshit, officer. We both know that you can’t do a shit about my arrest and this time, I know I won’t be returning.” Inching closer to the screen, she whispered, “That’s why~let me have my fun~”
She shut the computer off and twirled on her feet to look at Kohana.
The helpless look on her face sent a shiver of excitement down Riko’s body, making her all hot and bothered.
She loved this side of Kohana and the very reason she left those traces was to make Kohana feel helpless.
“Now, you understand my precious Ko-chan? No one is going to rescue you. You are a princess destined to stay by my side.” Riko held her face gently and told her.
Kohana’s eyes were burning with anger and tears as she glared at the girl and spoke, “I would rather die than stay with a criminal like you. Unlike others, I know that it was you who killed your parents! You confessed that to me!”
Riko grinned, “Ah, yeah. How can I forget that vivid sensation of plucking the hearts of those people who can never understand me? You know, a human’s heart continues to beat for a few moments even after getting detached~~”
There was a sense of amusement in her eyes like she was talking about anything but murder here.
“No one understood me except for you, Ko-chan. They can’t comprehend what I think and what I feel. It’s only you-”
“No, you are wrong.” Kohana said, “I never understood you. You were nothing but a nuisance to me…a problem child whom I tolerated-mmmfhh!!”
“Shh-shh…don’t you do that. You cannot tell lies and ruin the perfect memories we share.” Pressing her palm tightly against Kohana’s mouth, with the other one pressed against Kohana’s head, Riko shook her head vigorously to show resistance.
“You can’t say things to make me angry. I know you loved me, that’s why you always looked at me in times of crisis. Or when you wanted to share your lunch or finish homework. I know so stop spouting lies!”
Kohana felt her breathing becoming choked by the force she applied. Her face began to turn white because of a lack of oxygen.
The crazed yapping of the girl continued and just as Kohana was about to faint,
*DING*
Something hit Riko on her face and the girl was thrown away.
“Ahhh! Haah…” Kohana exhaled a long breath, vitality returning to her and her vision slowly turning clear.
Her mind was numb, but after a few deep breaths, she finally was able to see him.
Her Senpai was here!
********
[Just a few seconds after the cops left]
“Senpai…” Hearing Emi’s voice, Kazuki turned to look at her before he found the girl pointing her finger at his hand.
Kazuki looked at his right hand, or to be precise, the ring he was wearing.
It was….glowing faintly.
“Kazuki?” Kohta asked; however, the blond didn’t say anything and hurriedly pulled out his phone.
While he scrolled down the apps, he told them, “A ring I gifted her two days ago. It has a built-in feature which Kohana knows. If the ring gets damaged, I will receive her live location.”
Katori was baffled, “How can you even come up with such gadgets?”
Kazuki didn’t respond to her; however, after that creepy guy attacked her back when rumours were surrounding Kohana and Kazuki actively, he brought her this ring.
And it seems he did the right thing.
“Huh?” Emi exclaimed upon seeing Kohana’s live location. It wasn’t the same place where they were standing, but rather somewhere seven hundred meters away from here. In a school, that is quite familiar since they heard the name of that school from Riko’s uncle.
“Kohana is there?! Then whom did I hear here?” Katori couldn’t believe the location she saw on the screen.
“I don’t know, but I can’t ignore this.” Kazuki turned around and dashed away, despite how much the others told him not to.
As such, Kazuki, along with the other three, could be seen currently standing in the same classroom which once Riko shared with Kohana.
Katori looked breathless, and if not for Kohta carrying her halfway, she wouldn’t have reached here.
Standing with Kohana behind him Kazuki faced the girl who casually got up on her feet and scooped the blood dripping down her forehead before licking it clean.
Emi shivered looking at her as she remained hidden behind Kohta.
“Disgusting you are.” Katori winced.
“Am I? Well, Kohana loves the way I am.” Riko grinned looking at Kazuki with provocation written over her face.
Kazuki’s grip around the steel bat he found outside, tightened as he told her, “If you stay right there, I won’t hurt you anymore.”
“Haha~you are so tame~Senpai. If someone had kidnapped Kohana, then I would have killed them at first sight.”
The insanity in her eyes told her that the girl was dead serious. From those eyes alone one could tell that she has taken lives in the past.
“Drop to your knees since you have got no other way to escape from this,” Kohta warned, reading to lunge at her if the girl decided to run from the door behind her.
However, to everyone’s shock, she knelt and took out something from her bag.
“—–!!”
It was a gun.
