I Got Reincarnated as a Villainous Noble, and When I Tried to Create an All-Male Academy to Avoid a Bad Ending, for Some Reason the Gender Ratio Reversed? - Chapter 9
Chapter 9: I Woke Up and My Fiancée Was in My Bed
I first met Fran when I was ten years old.
“I’m Fran Chevalier.”
To be precise, this was before I regained the memories of my previous life.
Back then I was the very picture of a villainous noble. I was selfish, dragged everyone around me into my whims, and looked down on anyone of lower status. I was truly the worst kind of person.
Even the meeting with my fiancée had been forced on me by my father, so I showed up in a sulky, bad mood.
I planned to get it over with in just a couple of words since it was such a hassle.
That was my intention when I went in, but the moment I saw her for the first time, everything changed.
—Because that was the moment I remembered my previous life.
“Uh, y-yeah, looking forward to it.”
“Likewise.”
Honestly, I was completely thrown off.
I had to figure out how to avoid the doom ending from now on, so I really wasn’t in any condition to be doing a formal fiancée meeting.
And yet…
“The weather’s nice today, huh.”
“Yes.”
I was so busy just trying to hold a conversation with the girl in front of me that I had no mental room left to think about anything else.
“Do you like rain?”
“No.”
“…I see.”
Ten-year-old Fran was incredibly cute.
Her silver hair was glossy and smooth, her eyelashes were long, and her deep indigo eyes were big and bright.
If she had been walking down the street in Japan, there’s no doubt she would have been scouted for child acting roles on the spot.
“…………”
I had no idea what kind of conversation I was even supposed to have with a girl like that.
Of course I was terribly socially awkward, but her reactions were so faint that it made the whole thing even more painfully awkward.
“It’s been pretty hot lately, hasn’t it.”
“…Yes.”
Quite some time had already passed since the meeting started, but the entire conversation had been just like this.
She could hardly be called charming or sociable.
In fact, she gave the impression of someone who had almost no emotions at all — or maybe someone who had already given up on everything and fallen into despair. And she was only ten years old.
In the original story she was just a side character, so her background was never explained.
I knew absolutely nothing about her.
Not her upbringing, not her circumstances, not her feelings. Nothing.
Still, there was no doubt that she was carrying something heavy inside her.
That’s why I decided that before trying to avoid the doom ending, I would first try to make her smile.
※
“…A dream, huh.”
Sunlight slipped in through the gap in the curtains. I rubbed my eyes and slowly sat up.
Today was unusual — I had actually dreamed.
A dream about the day I first met Fran.
That time really was tough. The awkwardness was so bad it made my stomach hurt.
After a certain point I started being more proactive, but before that, Fran was the kind of child who almost never showed what she really felt.
“…………Hm?”
As my mind gradually cleared, I noticed there was some kind of weight pressing down on my chest. Clearly something was wrong.
Thinking that, I opened my eyes wide — and my entire field of vision was filled with silver.
“…Huh?”
My brain just stopped.
Because right against my chest was someone’s head.
It was soft, and every time they breathed, a warm puff of air brushed against me. It tickled.
Who on earth had snuck into my bed?
I couldn’t see their face, but I didn’t need to.
I knew instantly who it was.
—It was Fran.
“………………………………”
I desperately tried to recall what happened last night.
The intruder — she definitely left the room afterward. At least when I fell asleep, I was alone.
So why was she in the same bed as me now?
It made absolutely no sense.
“…Fran?”
I tried calling her name.
“Mmm…”
But at that moment she turned over in her sleep and pressed herself even closer.
“Fran!”
When I called her name again, this time she wrapped her arms around me.
Now I was being hugged tightly, completely unable to move.
—I was done for.
It seemed I had woken up to an absolutely outrageous situation first thing in the morning.
Wrapped in her sweet scent, I felt like I might lose my mind.
That was when it happened.
“Excuse me. Ol-sama, are you awake—”
After a few knocks, the door clicked open.
“…………”
And then Rose, who had just stepped inside, lost her words.
Her gaze was of course directed straight at the bed. Seeing me being hugged by Fran, she froze.
“…So it finally happened.”
Rose gave a small nod as if she was impressed, then smiled brightly.
“Ol-sama, congratulations.”
“Absolutely not!”
“Having a girl in your bed right from the first day of school — impressive as expected.”
“That’s not it either!”
“Then what kind of reaction would you like from me?”
“I’m not asking for any reaction!”
The maid Rose has a tendency to exaggerate.
She was probably putting on an over-the-top performance on purpose just to tease me.
She was one year older than me and had been with me since we were very young, so our sense of personal distance was completely messed up.
“But it is a fact that Ol-sama is currently accompanied by a woman. Early in the morning, you have two women in your private room.”
“Don’t just count yourself in!”
“So you’re saying you don’t see maids as women? How lewd.”
“You’re taking this way too far!”
The topic was damaging my reputation too much, so I ended up raising my voice without thinking.
Because of that, it seemed Fran finally woke up.
“…Good morning, Ol-sama.”
“It’s not a good morning.”
She slowly opened her eyelids and seemed to grasp the situation in an instant.
She lifted her face from my chest and looked toward Rose.
“Good morning, Rose.”
“Good morning, Fran-sama.”
The fact that she could greet people so calmly while lying in someone else’s bed was honestly terrifying.
“Fran, why are you here?”
When I asked, she tilted her head while yawning and answered,
“…I wonder why? When I noticed, I was already sleeping here.”
“When you noticed?”
Didn’t she come here with clear intention?
I gave her a suspicious look, and she replied,
“Yes. When I noticed.”
Fran said it with a perfectly composed expression, as if it were the most natural thing.
“I see. So in other words, the two of you spent the night together.”
“Wait, Rose.”
“And in the morning you are sweetly embracing each other.”
“I said wait!”
But no matter how much I denied it, the fact remained that Fran and I were pressed tightly together.
There was no way anyone would believe me.
As if to deliver the final blow, Fran looked down at me and let just a faint blush color her cheeks.
“Yesterday… became a night I’ll never forget.”
“Don’t say things that invite misunderstanding!”
“It’s the truth.”
The fact that it wasn’t a complete and utter lie only made the situation worse.
But of course anyone hearing it from the outside would get the wrong idea.
See?
“Ol-sama.”
Suddenly Rose’s face turned serious as she asked in a grave tone.
“You didn’t… actually force yourself on her, did you?”
“I did not!”
“Then what exactly is this situation?”
“We’re just in the same bed!”
When I tried to explain that was all that happened, the look in Rose’s eyes turned into the kind you give to trash.
“It seems Ol-sama’s womanizing ways haven’t changed since the old days.”
“That is absolutely not true!”
I denied it, but it was already too late.
“Please at least make sure you’re not late for school.”
After saying only that, Rose left the room with an utterly fed-up expression.
“Haa…”
Left behind, I couldn’t help but let out a long sigh.
And so, the second day after enrollment began in an absolute bloodbath of a situation.

Yeah i can only give this a few more chapters before I give up, you can tell how this entire series will be and its gonna be painful misunderstandings, mc trying to not get excecuted, forming a massive harem, all the female characters basically 1 note and forgotten after their story arc.
