I Got Dumped by My Childhood Friend Fiancée Who I Didn’t Even Like, I Thought I Could Finally Have a Peaceful School Life… But Then I Got Targeted by SS-Class Beautiful Young Ladies - Chapter 9
Chapter 9: [Locked Room] The Older Heiress Is Trying to Create Some Kind of Accomplished Fact
The expression she had just a few seconds ago—the one that was half-joking—was completely gone now.
Instead, her eyes looked like a predator locking onto its prey… or maybe like a hunter making sure there’s no escape route at all. Something like that.
A shiver ran down my spine, cold sweat trickling along my back.
I had no idea why I was suddenly cornered against the window, but I tried my best not to set off this weird version of Minase-senpai. I kept my voice soft and careful when I spoke.
“I-I’m not gonna run or anything… okay? And Tachibana-san—I literally just met her today, so there’s no way I ‘like’ her or whatever…”
“…Both of those are lies. Yoichi always tries to get away from me… And you wouldn’t exchange contacts with a girl you don’t like, right…?”
She kept talking with that doll-like smile that didn’t reach her eyes at all—her gaze stayed ice-cold deep down.
It didn’t touch my real feelings even a little, so I wanted to deny it—but straight-up denying it felt like it’d just make things worse. Honestly, nothing I said right now seemed like it’d get through to her anyway.
Still, if I let this drag on, she was gonna end up thinking I was some guy who instantly fell for a conglomerate heiress. I absolutely had to avoid that misunderstanding.
After staying quiet for just a second, I carefully picked my words and spoke up nervously.
“Whether I run from you or not aside… exchanging LINE with Tachibana-san was purely for club stuff. I swear, there’s zero feelings beyond that.”
I kept going right after with, “And besides…”
“When it comes to contacts, we’ve already exchanged too, haven’t we?”
“…For gaming, yeah.”
“…? What’s the difference between that and LINE…?”
They’re both just SNS apps for communicating. Different purposes, sure, but there’s basically no real difference.
I tilted my head, not really getting where the conversation was going, when senpai let out an exasperated sigh.
“Haa… They’re totally different, okay. Whatever, never mind that. More importantly… answer the question from before. Charlotte-chan… she’s got class and she’s super cute, right?”
I thought about it for just a second.
Denying it weirdly here… probably wasn’t the move.
And honestly, yeah—Tachibana did have class and she was cute. But that was true for all three conglomerate heiresses who were there, including Minase-senpai herself.
“Yeah, I guess so. She’s pretty… and classy too, I think.”
The instant I answered honestly—
The air around us dropped so cold it felt chilly on my skin.
It almost looked like the black parts of her colored contacts got even darker somehow.
“…Hmm~”
She let out this tiny, mumbled sound—like a vague little acknowledgment.
But even though her voice sounded like that, she suddenly closed the already tiny gap between us even more aggressively—until our bodies were pressed right up against each other, face-to-face.
I could feel something incredibly soft pressing against my chest. Before I could even flinch from it, she spoke without missing a beat.
“Yoichi, y’know…”
Her lips were so close to my ear I thought they might actually touch. She whispered in this breathy voice that brushed against my eardrum.
Then, with her lips curving up just a tiny bit,
“…I’ve gotta make you understand whose you are.”
“…Huh?”
The random word caught me so off guard that a dumb sound slipped out.
“I’m… not anyone’s, though…”
I said what seemed like the obvious thing, but Minase-senpai just gave a small laugh like I’d told some weird joke.
“…Hmm~ Okay then, first things first…”
She said it like she was thinking hard about something, then her fingers touched the buttons on my dress shirt.
And while she skillfully undid them one-handed—
“…Guess it’s time to make it official, huh?”
…Make it… official?
It was so far beyond making sense that I couldn’t even find words.
But watching button after button come undone, there was no doubt—she was trying to strip my shirt off.
Her slender fingers slowly traced across my chest. So slowly it felt like she was checking my heartbeat.
“W-Wait… senpai…!”
“Stay stiiill~”
I tried to resist somehow, but for some reason my body just wouldn’t move properly. So this was what it felt like to be a frog stared down by a snake.
Click—the last button popped free.
Right then, I heard a mischievous little giggle right by my ear…
“You’re really slow on the uptake, Yoichi, seriously.”
“W-What do you…”
“Normally in a situation like this, wouldn’t you freak out way more?”
“I-I am freaking out… like, a ton…”
The voice I barely managed to squeeze out sounded so pathetic even to me.
“Hehe… Really?”
She answered with this amused little smile.
The distance between us got even smaller.
That soft feeling pressed against me harder, like it was blocking any escape.
My brain was starting to shut down from the bizarre situation and this insane version of senpai—right when that happened.
From behind me came the sound of something hard being knocked on a few times.
I snapped out of it and turned—there was the driver standing outside the window.
“Ojou-sama. We’ve arrived at Kirishima-sama’s residence.”
A low, calm male voice.
Hearing that, I realized the car doors had already been unlocked.
And at the exact same moment—just for a split second—senpai’s fingers that had been touching my chest froze completely.
“…Tch.”
A tiny—really tiny—click of her tongue.
It was way too intense for a sulky kid’s sound, and it spilled right next to my ear.
But when I looked at Minase-senpai’s face again right after, that freezing cold vibe was completely gone.
“…Hey, Yoichi! We’re here!”
Back to her usual soft, bright voice.
Like the whole atmosphere from before had never even existed.
The switch was so natural it was almost scary—my brain couldn’t keep up for a second.
But my body moved on instinct, yanking the car door open,
“…! S-Sorry, excuse me!”
I half-jumped, half-scrambled out like I was fleeing.
The familiar entrance to my apartment building.
The night air felt way too cold against my skin.
…I-I’m saved.
The second my brain registered that, my heart finally started pounding like crazy, catching up late.
While I tried to catch my breath, I glanced back at the car that was already starting to pull away—and for just a moment, my eyes met Minase-senpai’s.
There was no emotion in those eyes. I couldn’t tell if she was thinking anything… or nothing at all. Nothing came through.
“…Senpai?”
I called her name without thinking.
She must’ve heard, because the girl inside switched right back to that sunny, bright smile she always showed.
Then, with a lively wave, she rolled down the window,
“Yoichi~! Byeee!!”
That was all she left behind before snapping the window shut again.
I stood there watching the car carrying Minase-senpai drive off into the distance, then let out one heavy sigh.
“…Haa. What the hell… was that just now…”
The most likely explanation was that she was warning me off—making sure I didn’t get any weird ideas about her childhood friend Tachibana…
“…But even then… that felt way overboard…”
Honestly, trying to strip my clothes off and all the other stuff she did—that couldn’t be explained away with just “a warning.”
There were still tons of questions, but I couldn’t ask, and I didn’t really want to.
I forced myself to accept the answer I came up with on my own and headed straight into the apartment building.

Are we forgetting that he was coerced into joining your shitty club? Like, can’t they just do the same thing to get his contacts?
