I Got Dumped by My Childhood Friend Fiancée Who I Didn’t Even Like, I Thought I Could Finally Have a Peaceful School Life… But Then I Got Targeted by SS-Class Beautiful Young Ladies - Chapter 2
Chapter 2: [Kidnapped] I Thought I’d Finally Got My Peace Back, But It Ended at the Shoe Lockers
On the short walk to the shoe lockers, I passed a few other students.
But not a single one talked to me. They just stared from a distance and whispered something, but that kinda thing’s been everyday life since I started here, so I don’t even care anymore.
What actually bugs me more is this stupidly fancy hallway decoration.
And it’s not just the hallway. The bathrooms, the fixtures… everything’s obviously top-grade stuff. No matter how you look at it, this goes way beyond what a school actually needs.
That’s exactly why the tuition’s so insane.
I bet I’m probably the only one who ever thinks about how many normal families could get help if they just cut back on some of this decoration.
“…Eh, whatever.”
I already knew before even enrolling that regular common sense doesn’t apply in a place like this.
Private Horeiin Academy. The high school in Japan with the highest deviation score and the highest tuition fees.
They advertise it as one of the top prep schools in the country—but the reality’s a little different.
Kids of famous company execs, heiresses, politicians’ families. It’s basically an ultra-aristocrat school packed with super-privileged children whose parents are winners in capitalism.
No wonder normal values don’t mean anything here.
Of course, I’m technically one of those spoiled rich kids too, but…
While I hook my finger into the loafers I keep in the shoe locker, I mutter under my breath—not really to anyone.
“…Sigh. It’s not like I asked to be born into a family like this. This last name that won’t even let me decide my own life—if I could ditch it right now, I would…”
“Ehh~ What what? What do you wanna ditch, Yoichi~?”
“…!”
I said that as a total solo mutter, so why the hell is someone answering me?
The familiar voice hits me from behind out of nowhere. I let out another sigh and slowly, kinda nervously turn around.
“…We had an agreement not to talk at school, right? Minase-senpai.”
“Huh~? Did weee~? Eh, whatever! Details don’t matter!!”
Standing there is a girl with messy black bob hair that has pink streaks underneath, tilting her head to peek at me.
She’s wearing the same uniform as everyone else, but the skirt’s way shorter, the chest area’s a bit more open—clearly styled to look loose on purpose.
And yet there’s zero sloppiness to it. It just… suits her way too perfectly. That’s why she always draws eyes.
One of the four biggest conglomerates in the country—the Minase family. That’s where the girl right in front of me, Rei Minase-senpai, comes from.
She’s a second-year, one grade above me. Different year, different world entirely.
Normally we shouldn’t even have a reason to cross paths, let alone talk, but there’s one connection between us—
“We promised no real-life contact, right? Talking only when we’re gaming…”
We’re what people call net-friends—two people who love the same game.
We met a few years back and still play together to this day. Online, separate places, of course.
When I found out this super popular gal-type heiress at the same school was actually my gaming buddy… I seriously thought about cutting ties for real. But our tastes line up so well that I’ve just kept dragging the relationship along.
I keep pointing out our agreement, and finally Rei-senpai lets out a resigned sigh.
“Ugh~ I remember, okay! That’s why I’ve never once talked to you in school till now!”
True. Since I started here, we’ve passed each other in the halls plenty of times, but she never said a word.
That’s exactly why her suddenly talking to me today, right now, feels super weird…
I get this bad feeling, so before I get dragged into any trouble, I glance toward the exit and try to bounce.
“Good, you remember. Then I’m in a hurry, so…”
I say that, slip my shoes on.
But when I try to actually leave, my feet freeze before I can take that first real step.
“Wait wait wait wait!!”
“…What now? You said you remember the promise, right? So…”
“Ughhh~ You’re still so cold… I was waiting here for you, y’know?”
Rei-senpai suddenly clings to my left arm while saying that.
My left arm gets squished against her full chest, and she’s holding it down with way more strength than I expected—I can’t move it.
“I never asked you to wait for me. And let go of my arm. What if someone sees us here?”
“Ehh~? Didn’t expect you to care about that kinda thing, Yoichi~? I don’t mind… If it’s with you, I’m totally fine getting caught doing way worse stuff~?”
“What are you even saying? Just let go already!!”
I keep my voice low but firm. For a split second Rei-senpai’s face goes blank—then the next instant her mouth curves into a sly grin.
“Hmm~? You’re gonna say that to me?”
“…What’s with that look.”
“Nothing~ Just—”
She leans in super deliberately, putting her lips right by my ear.
“—Just, y’know, I’m from the Minase family? They taught me—whatever I want, I get it no matter what it takes.”
The second she says that, Rei-senpai makes this quick hand signal with her right hand—like she’s giving someone the go-ahead.
“If you won’t let go, I’m gonna force your arm off!”
A chill I can’t even describe shoots down my spine. I blurt that out and yank my left arm with everything I’ve got.
But it’s already too late.
Something gets thrown over my head from my blind spot, blocking my vision completely. My wrists get snapped into what feels like handcuffs.
Next thing I know, someone hoists my now-immobile body up and carries me off somewhere.
The last thing I clearly hear is just one line from Rei-senpai—
“—Yoichi, sorryyy!”
Feels like today’s the day everyone’s apologizing to me nonstop.

I am gonna say this before finishing the CH.
The MC seems to be the insufferable kind, I mean saying you did not choose this life or it’s bad is just plan nieve to the point where I wanna kick the author no the MC in the balls.
Like how much of a sheltered goody tushu life has he lead for him to even think like that, and K swear if je ignores people or acts hyper dense I am dropping this.
Seems like a normal development people in his situation would go through though..?
