Bern was lying on the bed, wrapped in bandages from head to toe.

Recalling Bern’s words left a bitter taste in my mouth but even he praised Rina as the most beautiful girl among all the commoners he had ever seen. 

I couldn’t imagine how our relationship would turn out to be if we weren’t related by blood. 

Well, in any case, I need to comfort Rina a lot today. Now that I’ve become a student myself, I know how much mental stress Rina has to suffer through while studying at the Central Magic School. 

Gently, I embraced Rina’s naked shoulder.

This proved how much she trusted me.

The moment I entered the classroom, a handsome blonde man and a beautiful girl with purple hair who served him came running over. It was Jeff-sama and Mia-sama. 

Other students were shooting glances at me, whispering among themselves. I didn’t sense any hostility from them like before. Instead, they seemed to be confused at how to treat me instead.

I smiled and Nodded at Jeff-sama and Mia-sama. 

Jeff-sama then leaned in to whisper into my ear. 

“I’m planning on submitting our party registration after school today.”

“Ri-Right.”

Jeff-sama moved away from me and scanned the classroom.

He then chuckled. 

“Now then! To celebrate the end of your special holiday, how about a round of dance with me-“

『Attention to all students inside the school. A briefing session regarding the upcoming changes to the school regulations will be held shortly by the student council. Please gather in the gymnasium.』

“Hm? A briefing session?”

Confused, I glanced at Jeff-sama and Mia-sama. The two of them smiled before reaching their hands out to me. 

“Shall we go?”

We sat down on the empty chairs and waited for about ten minutes before members of the student council took the stage.

“Now then, let me inform you of all of the changes in the school rules.”

Luna-sama said as she closed her eyes and raised her hand to cast a spell. Almost immediately, large, glowing letters appeared on the stage.

Whispers of murmurs ensued through the gymnasium. While ‘court rank’ specifically refer to one’s nobility rank, the change to ‘status’ meant this rule also included commoners and even slaves. 

In other words, this was not a very pleasing change for the nobles who despised commoners, especially commoners who could use magic. 

However, nobody dared to voice their disapproval to Luna-sama.

They could only whisper among themselves, accepting the bitter spill despite their reluctance. 

Seeing the gloomy expression on the student’s face, Luna-sama opened her mouth again. Her domineering and commanding aura was still as impressive as ever.

“The school rules are here to make Central Magic Academy for the better. Kanato-san has proven his excellent strength against Bern-san in a duel. She was truly someone to admire. I felt guilty now, remembering that I once told her doing something like this was pointless. 

I stared at Luna-sama absentmindedly when suddenly, I noticed she was staring at me too. 

Her gaze was incredibly cold, devoid of any emotion. The sharpness of her gaze sent shivers down my spine.

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”

Someone laughed out loud. 

Naturally, everyone turned their gaze toward the direction of the voice.

“Luna-chan! Ah, I knew it. You are amazing! Your strong will, your intelligence and your beauty… You indeed possess the perfect quality to serve as the Student Council President.”

A boy with gray hair exclaimed as he stood up.

“It’s Harry-sama!”

That Harry guy said while glancing in my direction.

He was looking at me with disgust, like he was looking at filthy garbage. He was about the same height as me. However, with his lustrous gray hair and handsome appearance, his domineering aura was almost tangible.
