“From the Ferris wheel, you can see the whole area, right?”

After riding various attractions, Aoi took Runa on the Ferris wheel. 

It was already dark, but despite the clouds, they could enjoy the night view from the Ferris wheel.

Runa, excited about riding her first attractions, had her eyes sparkling as she placed her hand on the window and looked out.

“Isn’t this the time for that? To say that Runa looks prettier than the moon?”

No matter how flattering the words, hearing them every day seemed to diminish the joy. 

However, despite that, today being their first date made it a special occasion, so Runa’s smile seemed a bit more genuine.

Indeed, he had studied for the date, but there were no scenes in light novels where the characters went to an amusement park together, and there was no way he would come here alone with Keisuke. 

So, he didn’t have any know-how about amusement parks, and he just said what seemed like a standard date line. 

He regretted not reading novels or manga with scenes like this since going to the amusement park was already decided.

“Nii-san will be always Nii-san, right. Even when he tries his best for my sake, he somehow ends up in strange direction…”

Haa~ With another deep sigh, Runa leaned her head on Aoi’s shoulder as if seeking comfort, despite her exasperation at his peculiar ways.

“Calling it ‘strange direction’ is rude. Didn’t I just secretly follow you on your middle school field trip? A brother watching over his sister… How noble is that?”

About a year ago, in late May, worried about her, Aoi secretly followed Runa on her school trip. 

Even though it wasn’t scorching hot yet, he couldn’t help but worry about her being away for two days. So he decided to tag along and experienced the school trip for two years in a row.

“Accompanying your little sister on her school trip is indeed a bit weird. And you weren’t really watching over me secretly, were you? You confidently came to sit next to me on the Shinkansen, and I witnessed someone calling themselves noble for the first time.”

Despite having been on the Ferris wheel for barely ten minutes, Runa sighed for the third time, resting her head on Aoi’s shoulder. 

At first, he intended to keep watch from afar, but unable to resist, Aoi ended up by Runa’s side.

As a result, not only Runa but even the teacher caught onto it, and it seemed like I’d be sent back home as soon as we arrived in Kyoto.

However, when I insisted that I’d come back as many times as it took until my savings ran out, the teacher reluctantly gave permission with an exasperated expression.

Of course, I couldn’t stay in the same room as Runa. I ended up sharing a room with the teacher, and later on, I received a severe scolding from both the middle school and high school teachers.

Nevertheless, I have no regrets about tagging along as I was able to fully enjoy the school trip with Runa.
