“I want to go on a date with Nii-san.”

After dinner in the evening, when they returned from the hospital, Runa, sitting next to Aoi on the living room sofa, expressed her desire. 

Due to Runa’s albino condition, they rarely went out together, but Runa seemed determined to have a serious date.

“A date?”

“Yes. For a brocon like me, I want to go on a date with Nii-san.”

“Hauwa…”

With Runa whispering sweetly in his ear, Aoi relaxed, leaning his head on her shoulder. As expected, his strength left him, and Runa, smiling, began to gently stroke his head. 

The time spent being affectionate with each other had become a source of happiness for Aoi, a level of joy he hadn’t felt before.

“At least I’m not having nosebleeds.”

Anticipating a potential nosebleed due to excessive happiness, there were tissues neatly arranged on the table.

Even though he couldn’t muster much strength, Aoi flashed a smug grin. Runa sighed grandly, as if thinking that if evolution were that easy, there wouldn’t be any struggles. 

Certainly, if there were a quick solution to prevent nosebleeds, they might not have needed to go to the hospital.

“Do you have any specific places you want to go for the date? Karaoke seems like an option.”

Since humans couldn’t control the weather, they would have to choose an indoor activity. Karaoke, movies, bowling—these were typical date options. 

If they opted for Karaoke, they could manage sunlight exposure by using a taxi and not worry about people seeing them.

“As long as I’m with Nii-san, anywhere is fine. But if I have to choose, I’d prefer Karaoke. We don’t have to worry about others, and we can have some private time. So my wish is Karaoke.”

While Runa spoke, still stroking his head, she expressed her desire for a private date with minimal public visibility. 

Since they want to go on a date where they can be lovey-dovey with each other in private, a karaoke room would be perfect for them to be alone.

Aoi remembered Keisuke mentioning that he had gone on a karaoke date with his fiancée before, so it seemed like a good idea for siblings to get along as well.

“Yeah, let’s go to karaoke this weekend.”

“Sure. It’s a promise.”

Runa, after saying this, extended her left hand with the little finger raised. It seemed like she wanted to seal their promise with a pinky swear. 

Breaking this promise would, quite literally, lead to ten thousand punches and swallowing a thousand needles. 

The thought sent a shiver down Aoi’s spine, but as a siscon, he had no intention of breaking a promise with Runa. So, no matter what happened, whether it was a nosebleed or a trip to the hospital, Aoi was determined to go on the date.

“Pinky swear, if you lie, swallow a thousand needles. And let go.”

Interlocking their pinkies, they made a promise to go on a date.

After releasing their fingers, they held hands like lovers, intertwining their fingers again.

“Ehehe. Going on a date with Nii-san… I’m looking forward to it.”

“Me too.”

While they had gone out together several times before, this would be their first official date. 

Karaoke was already decided, but he needed to think about where else to go. Considering the need to avoid direct sunlight, their options were somewhat limited, but they were determined to make the most of their date.

Both of them were excited about the upcoming date, and Aoi decided to ask Keisuke, who had plenty of experience going on dates with his fiancée, for suggestions.
