Dungeon And Slave: The Lustful and Violent Slave Harem of the Guard and Students Chosen as Testers for the Succubus Dungeon - Chapter 59: Casualty
Chapter 59: Casualty
Tester Life, Day 24, 7th Floor, Sanada Yagumo
“Phew, it’s filling out nicely.”
Four days into exploring the 7th floor.
I’m progressing at a slightly slower pace than the 6th floor, but it’s going well.
No traps on this floor either. But even rusty, the goblins’ knives and swords are trouble. Rock takes scratches on its unarmored head and joints, slowing us down for healing.
Deeper in, groups of four goblins appear, sometimes reinforced to eight. With that many, some dodge Rock’s charges or my magic. One threw multiple daggers from my blind spot, and I got a cut on my cheek when I couldn’t dodge.
Goblins’ throwing skills are poor—mostly desperate flings. But that unpredictability caught me off guard. It’s like a pro taking a hit from an amateur’s reckless attack. Large numbers are tough.
Still, the wounds are minor, healed by Grade 5 Potions. Rock and I patch up each time, so no issues.
Sayaka’s serious look at the blood on my leather armor when I got back was a bit concerning, though.
As for treasure chests, it’s still just wooden ones. But now, Grade 5 Status Ailment Recovery Potions are in the mix, curing poison, paralysis, or disease.
No poisonous monsters yet, and goblin weapons aren’t coated either.
Probably the floor’s guardian uses poison, or it’s essential for later floors. Status Ailment Recovery Potions are rare—only seven in four days. If poison attacks are frequent, I might need to stock up at the shop, maybe even buy Grade 4 ones just in case.
Exploration progress: I’ve mapped the outer edges and just need to clear the unchosen branching paths. At this rate, I’ll find the guardian room in two days.
My mana rank is still D+. E-rank goblins don’t boost it much, so that’s expected. Rock’s still E+ too, but it’ll rank up eventually.
Nights are spent with Sayaka and Sheena, gaming or watching movies and dramas. Our living room shelf is packed with DVDs and games now.
After playtime, it’s all sex. We watch homemade porn we filmed, dress Sayaka in a maid outfit, Sheena in a school uniform, or try new erotic underwear I bought.
I got a competitive swimsuit for Sayaka too. Spending DP left me with only 750,000, but no regrets.
Sheena’s gotten good at titjobs and cowgirl hip movements. They get me to eight rounds together, and I finish the rest with Wall Butt daily.
Oh, two days ago, something funny happened with Aria, the bratty succubus. Her butt had phrases like “Weak Dick,” “Yakumo’s a Lolicon,” and “Pervert Excited by Kid Pussy” written in ink, probably inspired by what I wrote on Lili’s butt and thighs. She was taunting me.
I taught her a lesson, washed off the ink with semen, and wrote “Brat,” “Weak Pussy,” “Yakumo’s Servant,” “Cum Toilet,” and “Meat Slave” on her butt, thighs, and stomach with a permanent marker.
She won’t be bathing alone for a while.
Also, Sheena’s Lust Tattoo finally reached full submission yesterday. Unlike Sayaka, who was instantly devoted, it took five days. I confirmed it on the Slave Management screen—no mistake.
Yeah, Soulless Dolls are treated as Slaves. I was shocked to see Sheena listed. Her mana rank was higher than mine.
Her stats are like this:
Sheena
Age: 19
Race: Rabbit Beastman
Mana: C
Master: Sanada Yagumo
Servitude Status: Complete Servitude
Possessions: None
Notes: Soulless Doll
C-rank mana. Definitely a combat role in her past life.
If she weren’t a vacant Soulless Doll, I’d take her into the dungeon.
No wonder it took so long to fully submit. The Lust Tattoo submits faster with a larger mana gap, but my rank’s lower. It’s impressive I got her tattoo from faint to fully vivid in five days.
Even fully submitted, Sheena’s expression hasn’t changed. She’s just always nearby now, and sometimes kisses me during sex.
Not as dramatic as Sayaka’s change, but she’s soulless, so it’s expected.
Mornings, I get info from Yuki’s party when handing over mobile batteries, learning more about other testers’ progress.
Yuki’s group has built ties with most conquest groups.
Their intel says 60% of testers have reached the 3rd floor, making it crowded.
Yuki’s team explores deeper areas, still earning, but they think it’ll get tougher soon.
They haven’t mapped all paths, so I haven’t given hints. Unlike me, other testers don’t sprint through or take as few breaks, slowing their exploration.
The 3rd floor’s fake monster house is too obvious a hint, so I’ll wait.
The kickboxing group’s on the 3rd floor too, causing trouble—fighting over kills or stealing magic stones by jumping into others’ battles.
Similar groups, like the soccer team, are on the 2nd floor, sparking constant conflicts.
Annoying as ever.
With more people on the 3rd floor, injuries are way up compared to Horn Rabbit fights. Non-urgent injuries are healed with Grade 5 Potions, so many are recovering.
The interval for healing major injuries with multiple Grade 5 Potions—I gave some for testing—is about 12 hours. Drinking sooner only stops bleeding. So, a fracture heals in two days. These could sell for a fortune on the surface.
But there’s a limit. A student whose fingertip was bitten off by a Kobold didn’t regrow it. Grade 5 Potions can’t fix missing parts.
Also, frontliners are noticing Physical Enhancement’s value and buying it.
It’s crucial for guardian fights. The Kobold Leader was fast.
Oida’s teacher group faces daily collection refusals from conquest groups, and others are starting to resist too.
Especially 2nd-floor testers—they can easily claim low earnings barely cover food.
Some still hesitate to defy teachers.
Though Kobold stones are collected more, it’s probably 60% of past totals in DP.
The shut-ins’ food budget must be short. Oida’s group is likely covering it with their earnings, which are half what other 3rd-floor parties make.
They should make up for their embezzlement.
Reflecting on these four days, I resume exploration with Rock.
※
I’ve mapped most of the 7th floor, noting a few suspicious areas to check tomorrow. I return Rock to the Magic Seal Crystal and teleport to the 1st floor.
The transfer room is empty.
I usually return later than other testers, but it’s never been this deserted.
Puzzled, I leave the transfer room, head to the dungeon exit, and reach the safe Great Plaza.
A large crowd gathers near the fountain, and I hear someone sobbing.
The plaza reeks of blood, stronger than usual. I notice a trail of blood from the dungeon entrance to the crowd.
So… a casualty finally.
Hoping it’s not Yuki’s group, I push through the crowd to the center.
By the fountain, a student lies dead, neck brutally torn, eyes wide open.
Another student clings to the body, crying, while others watch, teary-eyed. Their uniforms and leather armor are tattered, covered in blood on arms and legs.
The baseball team. The dead student was their catcher at Koshien last summer. I forget his name, but I recognize him from watching with the old guards at the guard post.
Oida’s group is in the crowd, looking grim. The baseball coach is kneeling, sobbing. Losing a student must be a huge blow.
I spot Sonoda, a Battle Sports Club member in Sayaka’s class, and ask what happened. He overheard the baseball captain explaining to Oida.
The dead student was Noda, a 3rd-year. On their way back from the 3rd floor, they saw a 1st-year baseball party attacked by about 20 Kobolds and jumped in to help.
Why so many Kobolds? Apparently, someone challenged a monster house and retreated, and the Kobolds chased them out.
I always clear monster houses, so I didn’t know, but their monsters pursue escapees. Makes sense—otherwise, you could ping-pong with magic, retreating and re-entering to whittle them down.
The Kobolds, chasing the escapee, stumbled on the 1st-year party. The escapee was only seen from behind in the dark cave, so no clear ID.
The 1st-years were quickly half-surrounded, backed against a wall, shielding with shields. Noda’s group arrived.
Most 1st-years were injured in their unprotected legs, unable to move. Only two 1st-years and Noda’s seven 3rd-years could fight nearly 20 Kobolds, protecting the wounded.
They cut the Kobolds to about half when Matsuki, a 2nd-year now crying over Noda, was bitten and tripped. As Kobolds swarmed him, Noda shielded him.
It was over in seconds.
Noda’s neck was clawed and bitten off by two Kobolds.
The baseball team went berserk, fighting through injuries to kill the Kobolds.
But Noda was gone. Matsuki, shielded to the end, had his arm crushed and half-eaten.
They used potions to stop bleeding, carried Noda, and returned with a karate team’s escort.
“Got it.”
He died protecting his team.
I glance at the body, click my tongue softly, thank Sonoda, and leave.
