Chapter 11: Everything Came Back to Me

“—ha, Miha…”

I heard a voice calling me, and I opened my eyes.

I must have fallen asleep without realizing it.

I poked my face out from the covers.

Then, my eyes met my big sister’s.

“Big sister, welcome back,” I said.

I spoke to her with a groggy head, still waking up.

“Yes, I’m home,” she said.

She had a meaningful smile on her face.

“What’s wrong, big sister?” I asked.

“Nothing’s wrong. I just didn’t know you loved me that much, Miha,” she said.

“…?” I thought.

What was she suddenly talking about?

I love her, sure, but as a sister.

With that thought, I tilted my head while lying in bed.

“Well, you know? I came home, and you’re sleeping in my room, using my pillow as a cuddle pillow. So, I thought you must really love me. Of course, I love you too, Miha,” she said.

Cuddle pillow? Her pillow?

My head slowly cleared, and I understood the situation.

Of course she’d misunderstand! From her view, I came to her room, slept in her bed, and used her pillow as a cuddle pillow.

I understood her misunderstanding and quickly spoke to clear it up.

“No, that’s not it! I was just sniffing your bed and pillow! I fell asleep while sniffing your scent. So, it’s not like I was using your pillow as a cuddle pillow!” I said.

When I said that, her eyes widened for a moment, and then she smiled happily.

Why was she smiling? The misunderstanding should be cleared.

“Miha, do you realize what you’re saying?” she asked.

“Huh? Of course I—” I started.

When she asked me again, I understood.

It sounded like I was so obsessed with her that I was sniffing her scent!

“Wait, big sister! That’s a misunderstanding too! I did sniff your scent, but it was just to embarrass you as revenge for yesterday! It’s not like I sniffed it because I love you too much!” I said.

That was close. Now the misunderstanding should be cleared.

“Hehe, I’ll let you say that,” she said.

She put her bag down and started to leave the room.

Wait, what does that mean!? I only told the truth!

“Hey, wait, big sister! It’s really a misunderstanding! It’s not like that!” I said.

I hurriedly got out of bed and hugged her to stop her from leaving.

“Okay, okay, I get it,” she said.

“You don’t get anything! I’m—” I started.

She didn’t believe me at all, and as I tried to deny it, she put her hand on my head.

“It’s okay. I sniff your scent sometimes too,” she said.

“Huh?” I said.

Her sudden shocking confession hit me.

She sniffs my scent? When!? Do I smell bad…?

Thinking about it, my face suddenly felt hot.

“I’m not shy!” I said.

When she said that, I buried my red face in her body to hide it.

Then, she stroked my head and picked me up in a princess carry.

“Hey, wait, big sister!?” I said.

“You’re so cute, Miha,” she said.

“Don’t look at me…” I said.

I tried to hide my face, but I might fall if I did, so I clung to her to keep my face hidden.

She seemed to give up on looking at my face, left the room, and sat on the living room sofa, still carrying me.

My big sister sat on the sofa, still holding me in a princess carry.

“Big sister! Let me go!” I said.

“I already let you go, Miha. You’re the one clinging to me,” she said.

“That’s… true, but! It’s not…” I said.

“If you want to get away, go ahead,” she said.

She knew I didn’t want her to see my face and couldn’t let go, so she spoke in a teasing tone.

“Then, I’ll let go, but close your eyes, big sister,” I said.

“No way. If I did that, I wouldn’t see your cute face,” she said.

When I asked her, she whispered back in my ear.

“Big sister, you idiot…” I said.

I hugged her tighter to hide my red face.

“Hehe, you’re cute, Miha,” she said.

“Nya… don’t say weird things…” I said.

Her whisper in my ear made me let out a strange sound.

I felt so embarrassed, my face and body heated up.

“Ah, big sister… don’t… don’t sniff me…” I said.

“If you don’t want me to sniff you, just let go,” she said.

She knew I couldn’t let go and said it provocatively.

“Big sister, sniff… ha…” I said.

“Oh, Miha, you want to sniff me again?” she said.

“No, that’s not it! If you don’t stop sniffing me, I’ll sniff you too!” I said.

Even she would be embarrassed if I sniffed her after coming back from school.

So, I said that to make her stop.

She pressed her nose to my body, making sniffing sounds on purpose for me to hear.

With that thought, I sniffed her scent to make her regret underestimating me, making sniffing sounds like she did.

I tightened my arms around her back to keep her from escaping.

Not that she could, with me on top of her, but just in case.

“Miha… you smell nice,” she said.

She suddenly said that.

I couldn’t lose, so I said it back to embarrass her.

“…You smell nice too, big sister!” I said.

But she didn’t seem embarrassed and let out a happy sound.

Then, she reached toward my sensitive spot.

“Big sister… really, don’t… that’s… not okay…” I said.

“Fine,” she said.

When I said that, she murmured and moved her hand to my stomach.

“Big sister…” I said.

“Here’s okay, right?” she said.

She slipped her hand under my clothes and slowly touched my stomach.

“Hyah!” I said.

She touched my stomach and licked my ear.

“Stop…” I said.

“You’re cute, Miha. I want to keep looking, but I need to make dinner, so I’ll stop here for today,” she said.

She slowly lifted me and sat me next to her.

I covered my face with my hands to hide it.

Then, she stood up, hugged me, stroked my head a little, and went to the kitchen.
