Chapter 26.1 Turn Me Loose, Im Dr. FeelGood 7
Leaving behind one Azure Sword Chiyonovagna forged in the Makiano style, we set off from Tsutomuporita.
The sedan chair I had been riding in was swapped for a slightly larger one, with Harriett sitting beside me.
Behind us trailed an endless bridal procession, carrying all kinds of luggage.
“Can we really make it across the nomadic lands with all this?”
“It’s fine. I have relatives everywhere we’ll pass.”
True to Harriett’s words, the journey that had already been quite smooth on the way there became a full-on state guest treatment on the way back.
In the nomadic lands, temporary houses were built at every stop for us, and every night there was a grand feast, with valuable livestock slaughtered for the occasion.
In the towns, crowds of spectators followed us everywhere, and it felt like the whole nation was celebrating.
Well, that was all fine—great, even—but…
In the towns, problems awaited me that I hadn’t even considered.
“Lord Fusha, congratulations on your marriage.”
“Thank you, Medubal. And these people are…?”
“Well, it seems word has spread about the Mystic Army, and people wanting to join have been coming every day. I couldn’t manage it after a certain point…”
“How many are there?”
“I was able to make a roster up to 300, but beyond that, no matter how hard we tried, we just couldn’t keep up…”
I understood why Medubal seemed on the verge of tears.
There had to be over 500 people gathered around the Mystic Army office in the town of Subado, no matter how you counted.
“We can’t possibly feed all these people in Tanukan.”
“We do need people to maintain the current trade routes, so I think we can absorb some of them into the Makiano territories…”
“Isn’t there going to be a problem with bringing this many people along?”
“On the contrary, it’s creating quite the positive reputation, as people see it as opening up the wastelands that have been wild for years.”
When they put it that way, it might be true, but if that’s the case, I have a feeling we’ll have disputes over who controls the newly settled land.
The Tanukan side might lose the will to fight after seeing that massive army…
And besides, the homeland didn’t send reinforcements when we were in danger. If I were to defect to Makiano with the castle, they wouldn’t have any grounds to complain.
I wonder how my brother Liebens, who’s in the royal capital, and my father responded to the situation…
By the time we returned to the wilderness with these thoughts, the season had fully shifted to spring.
I had turned eleven.
“Marriage! Marriage! Lord Fusha has returned from Makiano with a bride!”
As that announcement spread through the wasteland, familiar and unfamiliar faces from the castle and towns quickly gathered around our sedan chair.
“Lord Fusha! You’ve returned safely!”
“Your wife? She’s so beautiful!”
“Such beautiful black hair! What clan is she from?”
“What kind of country bumpkin are you? Don’t you know that’s Harriett, daughter of the Great Chief?”
Mixed in with the knights, their foster children, and the townspeople were members of the Makiano tribe.
Perhaps they were from the Mystic Army, here to collect salt to transport to the Makiano’s town?
“I’m surprised! I didn’t expect so many people to come out of such a small fortress.”
“That’s my family home, Tanukan Castle.”
“You have the space. Why not build something bigger?”
She might think that way, never having experienced hardship in her life.
To me, from the perspective of my past life, that castle is more like a fortress.
Rebuilding it might be an option someday, but for now, there are plenty of other things to prioritize.
“Lord Fusha brought back a bride from Makiano?”
“They say she’s a princess of Makiano! As expected of Lord Fusha!”
“She certainly has an otherworldly beauty, but… Hey, Norin, what’s the real story?”
“Harriett-sama, the sixth princess of the King.”
Among the knights, there was a Makiano soldier who had once been imprisoned.
Did he not return to Makiano after being released as a prisoner? He must be a strange one to stay in such a wasteland.
Looking carefully through the crowd, I even spotted another former prisoner and an old fortune-teller woman.
Perhaps they were asked to stay behind by Makiano as interpreters because of their language skills.
“Oh! That’s a familiar face! Hey, Wamuro!”
“Did you see someone?”
“An old comrade. He must’ve arrived late. He’s always been a heavy sleeper.”
With a delighted tone, Kintman called out as a giant man, dressed in intricately embroidered clothing, rushed straight toward him.
“Hey, Kint! Why didn’t you call me for such an exciting battle?”
“I did call you, didn’t I? You’re here because you saw the letter, right?”
“You know damn well I can’t read!”
“Still illiterate? You haven’t learned to read yet?”
“Are you mocking me, you jerk?!”
“Hey, hey, calm down.”
The giant man with his wild hair braided in three grabbed Kintman’s collar with ease, keeping pace alongside Kintman’s horse.
From the sidelines, it looked like two large beasts playfully tussling, but Kintman’s horse seemed annoyed, letting out a loud, disgruntled snort.
“The people from the southern regions are tall, aren’t they?”
“No, he’s exceptionally tall. I never thought I’d meet someone bigger than a whale shark.”
As we talked, the giant man walking beside our palanquin spoke to us again.
“Hey, are you Lord Fushanklan?”
“Yeah, that’s me.”
“When the next battle comes, make sure to invite Wamuro, the ‘Great Tree’ here, first! I’ll be useful!”
“There won’t be any battles anytime soon, but when there is, I’ll make sure Kintman invites you without relying on letters.”
“Also, as you can see, I’m a man who lives for the arts. If you’ve got any painting work, send it my way!”
“Art? Oh, well… sure, I’ll keep that in mind.”
“Promise me!”
I had no idea how “as you can see” applied to him, but if he’s one of Kintman’s friends, maybe I’ll give him some work next time.
It seemed that more of Kintman’s comrades had arrived late, and he was soon surrounded by several of them.
“It’s a rather barren place, but surprisingly lively,” Harriett commented.
“Yeah… I guess so.”
This liveliness was something we didn’t have last year. The fact that so many people were now gathering in my homeland was… well, one of the few clear positives amidst the chaos of the past year.
Despite all the regrets I still carry, a ruler can’t dwell on them forever. Even if it happened haphazardly, I had ended up starting my own family before my second brother.
I had to stay strong.
As I firmed up my resolve, the procession continued smoothly, and before long, we returned safely to Tanukan Castle.
“First of all, I’m truly glad you’ve returned safely.”
“It’s such a relief. Muina cried every day worrying about you.”
After the lively banquet at the castle, I was called to my parents’ bedroom, where I received a warm embrace from them.
“Sorry for causing so much worry. Things turned out well on my end, but what happened with Tanukan? Has the royal capital said anything?”
I assumed a messenger might have come, offering excuses and apologies. But the words my father spoke were shocking.
“Listen carefully, Fushanklan. The kingdom has completely abandoned Tanukan. Instead of sending an apology for not dispatching troops, they’ve threatened to strip us of our title if we can’t pay the required taxes.”
“Strip us of our title!? Taxes!? After everything that happened, can’t they at least give us some time on this year’s dues?”
“Where would we find the means to pay taxes? In fact, up until now, instead of paying taxes, we’ve been receiving charity from the kingdom just to survive.”
So that’s how it was…
I had some inkling of it, but our title as border lords was really just in name only. The fact that my brother Liebens had managed to make his way into the central government in such a situation was remarkable in itself.
“For the kingdom, Tanukan is no longer of any use. This small fortress has served its purpose.”
My father said this with a weak smile.
Well, if Tanukan had only been kept alive as a buffer against Makiano, then after this incident, the capital likely judged that Makiano wouldn’t cross the Karakan Mountains.
“Oh, right… What about Liebens?”
“Liebens holds a government post in the capital. He sent a letter apologizing for not being able to return during the crisis or protect the title… but there was nothing he could have done. He made the right choice to stay in the capital. At least, the name and blood of Tanukan will survive.”
My father, who spoke quietly, seemed somehow smaller than when I had left the wasteland. It was as if this winter had aged him a lifetime, and now, I could even see strands of white hair that hadn’t been there before.
“Fushanklan, do you want to go to the capital too? The Makiano merchants have brought all sorts of goods, and the town has become lively… but this land is simply too harsh for people to live in. Whether we have a title or not, without the stipends, we won’t be able to maintain this castle.”
“Father. Is that really okay with you?”
“In my youth, I did many things just like you. I read books, tilled the soil, and sought out different seeds to plant…”
So that’s why, when ten-year-old me wanted to start a farm, my father allowed it. He had pursued similar challenges himself.
He looked deeply into my eyes, with an air of resignation, and continued.
“But none of it worked. No matter what I tried, this land rejected us. And it wasn’t just my failure. My father, and his father, and the fathers before them, all experienced the same defeat.”
My father knelt before me and wrapped me in a strong embrace. His voice trembled as he spoke.
“You were the only one who succeeded, Fushanklan. It was you, when you were still so young, who tamed this wasteland and drew potatoes from it. I’m certain that by Liebens’ time, this land will have been freed from its curse of barrenness, and it will have flourished greatly.”
At some point, my father’s tears had soaked my shoulder.
“The only thing I regret is that I couldn’t pass this land on to you. That’s my failure. But you, with your small body, have done everything you could. You’ve done it all. You’re no longer bound to this barren land… this cursed Badlands, Fushanklan.”
“Father…”
I wrapped my arms around my father’s trembling back and patted him gently.
Certainly, Tanukan’s situation wasn’t good.
Certainly, there was no need to cling to this wasteland anymore.
Certainly, there were plenty of reasons to give up and find a life elsewhere.
But…
“When is the tax payment due?”
“Fushanklan… what are you trying to do…?”
This wasteland, the Badlands, is my homeland.
And the Tanukan border lord’s family… is my family’s livelihood.
There were reasons to give up, just as there were reasons not to.
“I can do it, probably.”
Above all, after seeing a glimpse of the wider world on this journey, I had one firm conviction.
With this many people, a distribution network for acquiring goods, no external enemies, and my alchemy, all the conditions are in place.
We have everything needed to carve out this barren wasteland, pay the taxes, and feed the people—a future of idealism.
I was certain that in the current Tanukan, it was possible to achieve that.
“Father… please, give me time. Three years.”
“Are you serious…?”
My father pulled away from me and looked at me with a face smeared with tears and a stunned expression.
In front of that face, I held up three fingers.
“In three years, I’ll acquire the means for the border lord’s family to survive.”
“And until then… what will you do? To buy things, you need money.”
“I’ll ask how to handle it.”
“…Who will you ask?”
To my father’s doubtful question, I puffed out my chest and pointed my thumb to myself and answered.
“I’ll ask the people within me.”
The crises that should have passed came back with a change in circumstances.
But living in a place that fundamentally rejects humanity means just that.
A desolate land exists as it is, and we humans, driven by our greed, willingly place ourselves in crises.
As my mother wiped away my father’s tears, I opened the window of the room.
In the pitch blackness, only the howling wind could be heard.
It was the sound I had heard since I was born.
The wind of the wasteland where I was born.
My body trembled.
Whether it was from the coldness of the early spring wind…
Or from the thrill of battle…
I still didn’t know.
◆◆◆
On a spring day, Fushanklan returns from the land of Makiano.
Having gained a beautiful maiden with black hair and numerous treasures, and accompanied by the Mystic Army, he returns.
Yet, the Tanukan domain remains in peril.
The king demands taxes, and Dentra, bowing to the pressure, proposes abandoning the Tanukan land.
However, Fushanklan requests three years’ time.
He pledges to enrich the land within those three years.
We, the Artic True Sect, are within that vessel.
Where the light is strong, the darkness is also strong.
The darkness, being our domain, operates as a shadow.
Thus, the true words of Fushanklan, who has compiled and revised them, are conveyed to the chosen ones.

[Surrounding Powers]
Tanukan Border Lord Family
The first generation was sent to develop this land, but now it is almost a penal colony. Maintained as a client state of the Folk Kingdom with a stipend, it is now being considered for abandonment as its role has ended.
Folk Kingdom
Facing the sea, it has a mild climate with the Karakan Mountains providing protection, safety, and ample rainfall. It has potential but is traditionally plagued by internal strife and external threats, being a small country. The standard currency is the Tadulion coin.
Bent Kingdom
Though it is called a kingdom, its religious authority is weak. It was founded by a sect of the Aldora faith, a non-mainstream group within the widely believed Aldora religion in the Tadra-speaking area. Currently in conflict with the Folk Kingdom, it is not a bitter enemy, and alliances or enmities shift with time.
Aldora Religion
The dominant religion in the Tadra-speaking area. It is a monotheistic faith worshiping the creator deity Reuluora. The prayer phrase is “Leora.”
Arima Language Area
The Tadra-speaking area, including Tanukan, is completely different in language, ethnicity, and religion. The Bent Kingdom does not recognize adherents of other religions as human, and there is almost no interaction with Folk due to the Karakan Mountains and the wilderness separating them. They are seen as northern barbarians. Various groups with different lifestyles are mixed, and the concept of a nation is weak, leading to their perception as a small power, though the reality is different.
[Tanukan Margave Family]
Fushanklan
The protagonist, a male.
The third son of the Tanukan Border Lord family.
He is 10 years old at the beginning of the first part and 11 years old at the end.
He fears boredom more than anything, so he tends to be somewhat of a workaholic.
His specialty is alchemy, but since he has only read about it in books, he considers himself a pseudo-alchemist.
He tries to live according to the common sense of the world he was born into, just like those around him and his family, but his charisma is on a different level, so he cannot live exactly the same way.
Though he was bored with the wasteland, he was disappointed to find that the grasslands didn’t differ much from his past life’s standards.
In the future, he plans to use the money he earns to collect various books and create a library.
Dentra
The protagonist’s father, the Border Lord.
He is 27 years older than the protagonist.
Despite being plagued by the harsh land and struggling economy of the region for generations, he has somehow managed to maintain the castle and knight order, but his own generation has finally reached its limit.
Eila
The protagonist’s mother, the Border Lord’s wife.
She is 28 years older than the protagonist.
A noble daughter from the Folk Kingdom who moved to Tanukan, her father was a close friend of the previous Border Lord.
However, she also came to the wasteland when she was young, so she doesn’t know much about the world outside the wilderness.
Liebens
The protagonist’s eldest brother, the future Border Lord (planned).
He is 12 years older than the protagonist.
Known as a prodigy of the Tanukan Border Lord family, Dentra sent him to the royal academy, recognizing his exceptional abilities. However, 12 years later, the third son emerges.
From his student days, he was a close friend of the second prince.
He has achieved numerous feats and accomplishments, but due to family circumstances, his achievements are somewhat discounted, and he has been assigned a government position that doesn’t quite match his merits.
Koutasma
The protagonist’s second older brother.
He is 5 years older than the protagonist.
In some ways, he is an ordinary person, but while being sandwiched between a remarkable older brother and a troublesome younger brother, he grows up without attracting much attention from those around him.
Due to his role in managing the port, he is quite well-informed and recently heard that men with long hair are stylish, so he has been growing his hair out a bit.
Muuna
The protagonist’s younger sister.
She is 3 years younger than the protagonist.
Raised like a precious flower according to rural standards, she was as bored as the protagonist.
Recently, with more people in the castle and the region, she has become quite satisfied with having playmates among the children of her older brother’s retainers.
[Castle Staff]
Isara the “Murky”
A knight assigned to the protagonist.
She is 8 years older than the protagonist.
Formerly known as Isaramaru Winston, she was born into a relatively famous knightly family in the Folk Kingdom.
Sha has beautifully wavy golden hair, though her original hair color was red.
She once served as a knight to a royal princess but strayed from the righteous path after mingling with fairies and was exiled, becoming a wandering knight without a master.
She does not harbor resentment towards the princess or her family but has grown quite disillusioned with the kingdom.
After winning a swordsmanship tournament and gaining fame for slaying monsters, she found no place for herself and drifted to the wasteland, eventually becoming assigned to the protagonist.
Although she was originally a knight of the Border Lord family, she pledged her loyalty to the protagonist, returning her sword to the Border Lord and becoming a knight of Fushanklan.
At that time, she received the Emerald Sword, which she has continued to use as her beloved weapon.
She can use fairy magic and is valued by Fushanklan as a heat source for alchemy.
She is symbiotic with the fairy, meaning if one dies, the other dies as well.
It is said that two bouquets of flowers are offered at the grave of Isaramaru in Folk every year on the anniversary of her death.
Guldura
A former general of the Folk Kingdom, now an elderly guest and caretaker for Fushanklan.
He was a renowned general who won many battles that seemed unwinnable and was honored by other nations by name. However, he was defeated in political struggles, falsely accused, and exiled to the wasteland.
When he first arrived at Tanukan, he was still fiery, but as Fushanklan was born, he became engrossed in caring for him and gradually turned into a kindly old man.
While Fushanklan and the children of his subordinates call him “Gul” (Grandpa Gul) casually, others would never dare to use such a familiar term.
He is known for his record-keeping and secret activities; much of the North Artic Doctrine and North Artic Legends are due to his efforts.
Merriza (Riza)
A maid assigned to the protagonist.
She is affectionately called “Riza” by the protagonist and those around her.
She is 10 years older than the protagonist.
A daughter of a knightly family, she has always taken care of Fushanklan’s needs.
Although there were marriage proposals, she declined them all and devoted herself to her duties.
Having spent so much time with Fushanklan, who is a bookworm, she can read and write and knows quite a bit about various subjects.
Currently, she is selecting a few of the children brought by Fushanklan and training them as maids for him.
Varsa
The leader of the knight order.
Since the third son of the count’s family began taking action, there have been continuous upheavals, but he holds no particular grudge against the third son.
He is troubled by subordinates who talk of the third son as if he were the next border lord.
He has a biological son who is an apprentice knight and also an adopted daughter named Martha.
Having grown up with only brothers, he struggles with his relationship with his daughter.
[Former Godol Mercenary]
Kintman the “Whirlwind”
Originally the heir of the Godol Mercenary Company, now serving under Fushanklan.
He is 17 years older than the protagonist.
A renowned warrior who wields a black sword engraved with golden letters.
He was highly regarded as a mercenary, but his hometown was destroyed while he was away.
During his wanderings, his own mercenary group was also destroyed due to an encounter with dragons.
Completely disheartened, he retreated into obscurity until he received a letter from Guldura, a former mercenary comrade, which led him to the wilderness.
He is quite knowledgeable about the affairs between Folk and Bent.
While he has no particular aspirations, he is somewhat interested in acquiring the Emerald Sword.
Kodara
A dwarf blacksmith.
He left his village to master the art of sword-making but faced setbacks and became a mercenary.
After the destruction of his mercenary group, he resigned himself to using his blacksmithing skills for making agricultural tools and everyday items for living.
After various twists and turns, he became the blacksmith for Fushanklan, forging the Emerald Sword. In Makiano, he is known as the renowned swordsmith Kodara.
He has a desire to marry, but since dwarf women rarely travel, he has limited opportunities to meet potential partners.
Ida
A peculiar mage who could likely find a position anywhere but prefers to be a mercenary.
There are rumors that Ida might be an offspring of some noble family, but Ida never speaks about it.
Kobura
A warrior from the dog-people race.
He is a nimble warhammer user who enjoys alcohol and women.
Inuzame
A large man with horns on his head.
He looks intimidating at first glance but has a gentle disposition and is liked by the children, including Muuna.
Though he seems like a fighter, he is actually quite knowledgeable about financial matters.
Wamuro the “Great Tree”
An extremely large man over 2 meters tall.
He cannot read but claims to be very skilled with drawings and embroidery.
His size intimidates customers, and he apparently doesn’t get much work.
Martha
The oldest of the orphans.
She is the same age as the protagonist.
She came to Tanukan with her parents, and after their deaths, she became an orphan and thus knows quite a bit.
She was adopted by the knight captain, but she feels a bit uncomfortable with her stepfather’s distance.
She is quite fond of her older brother.
Mimei
An orphan with a talent for alchemy.
Fushanklan occasionally showed her how to work on alchemy, but due to a lack of time, she still can’t do much.
Since there was no secrecy about it, Mimei casually told everyone that Fushanklan remembers his past life.
[Makiano]
Makiano Tribe
Although originally nomads, the ancestors of the Makiano tribe, led by the founder Lao Kan, diversified into agriculture, industry, and trade.
Almost everyone is related by blood, and if you trace the family lineage, most people are connected somewhere along the line.
Within the territory, the concept of strangers is weak, and the bonds of “me” and “you” are strong.
There are differences between the main house and branches, but social hierarchy is not strictly fixed. A family that produced a great chieftain might become a simple tenant farmer within thirty years.
Even the neighboring Zvaibe tribe, who also hold territory, are distant relatives and often collaborate to attack other countries.
They are generally reserved towards outsiders.
They emphasize strength and virtue, and hold a ritual every five years where influential figures from various regions recommend contestants to fight and determine the great chieftain.
The currency used is Laonix coins (Makiano coins).
Logos
A renowned fortune-teller and relative of a former great chieftain of the Makiano tribe.
She came to Makiano in search of the treasures of the wastelands and was captured.
Thanks to Fushanklan’s arrangement, her captivity was made somewhat comfortable.
During the day, she stayed in a cell sipping tea, and at night, she slept in a guest room.
She is intelligent and has learned some of the Tadra language.
After the Winter War ended, she was released but chose to stay in Tanukan.
As Makiano tribe members began arriving in the wasteland after being enchanted by Fushanklan, she became their coordinator.
Norin
One of the three prisoners taken by Fushanklan.
He learned Tadra from the elder Logos and remained as her caretaker after the war ended.
Since the Makiano tribe began bringing tribute, he has worked as an interpreter.
Lao Kan
The ancestor of the Makiano tribe, known for his black hair, wielding the Azure Sword, and commanding golden wolves to conquer the grasslands.
He was an incredibly strong warrior but died from poison administered by his own people.
His honor remains intact even after death, and many Makiano men seek to wield the Azure Sword, often collecting scrap metal to forge their own versions.
There are families that claim descent from Lao Kan, and black hair has become an important symbol for the Makiano tribe.
Isrortep is referred to as Hiraokan.
The capital of Makiano, Tsutomuporita, is said to be named after Lao Kan’s true name.
Ruora
A general of the Makiano tribe.
He was a wise man who avoided drawing attention and the risk of assassination by dressing like his soldiers, but he was lured into revealing himself by the Emerald Sword and was killed in battle.
Urok
The Makiano-appointed caretaker for Fushanklan.
She is called “Roku” by him.
Urok handles almost all negotiations within the Makiano territory and can stay at the best accommodations wherever he goes.
She is the granddaughter of the previous great chieftain and the daughter of a current foreign minister, so she has many connections and can communicate effectively.
Extremely intelligent, she quickly learned the Tadra language.
In fact, she speaks four languages.
When Fushanklan returned to the wasteland, she followed along without question or hesitation.
She is short in stature but has a prominent chest.
Rieger
The chieftain of Ugamo town.
Initially cautious, but fell for Fushanklan and began scheming to make him his son-in-law.
Komirin
The chieftain of Zugi town.
Initially cautious, but fell for Fushanklan…
Koukou
The chieftain of Horido town.
Initially cautious but…
Warakara
The chieftain of Subado town.
Initially…
Avi
The daughter of Warakara.
Six years older than the protagonist.
Speaks rapidly like a machine gun but has very high organizational skills.
She has somehow become involved in managing the mystic army and has taken charge of various matters with an unassuming demeanor.
Misago
The current Great Chieftain and an elder.
A man with a sharp, hawk-like demeanor who commands immense support from the Makiano tribe.
Skilled in divination and often reads people’s fortunes.
Has a wide network of friends and acquaintances.
Married his daughter to Fushanklan and resolved the escalating competition within the country for Fushanklan as a son-in-law.
Has a sweet tooth.
Harriett
The daughter of Misago, the Great Chieftain of Makiano.
Two years older than the protagonist.
Possesses the luxurious black hair of the direct descendants of Lao kan and a free-spirited personality.
Her eyes are teal.
Dislikes boredom and loves luxury and tea.
Though still young, she has completed all the bride training in the Makiano style.
[Others]
Wintor the ‘Viper’
A contemporary and renowned military strategist and comrade of Gildura.
Holds the rank of a thousand-man commander.
In reality, he could have risen further, but chose to avoid political strife, resulting in his current position.
Has a very loud voice and strong presence but is weak against those who do not listen to discussions about marriage.
Isrortep
A great witch of the long-eared elves.
An unparalleled beauty.
Claims to be Fushanklan’s teacher, but has only taught one word so far.
Has a wide network and a sharp tongue, and is often avoided in various places, though not necessarily for any wrongdoing.
Tsukies
A contemporary comrade of Guldura.
Bald and wears glasses, and has shrunk in stature, but was handsome and popular in his youth.
Medubal
A merchant from the tanuki tribe with a beard.
Twenty-two years older than the protagonist.
Was a rising star in the Siscata Trading Company but left due to his dislike of breaking promises to Fushanklan.
Became a direct vassal of Fushanklan, helping him with his knowledge and practical skills.
Has a wife and children back in his homeland and plans to bring them over once things settle down.
Neyakashi Trading Company
A trading company run by fox merchants in the Folk Kingdom.
The founder of the company was involved with the first generation of the Tanukan Frontier Lord’s house, establishing a strong and unbreakable bond.
This company provided the funds to send Tanukan’s eldest son, Liebens, to school in the royal capital.
Although it may seem suspicious at first glance, it is actually a very loyal trading company.
Siscata Trading Company
The trading company to which the tanuki merchant Medubal belonged.
A large trading company with branches across three countries, owning multiple advanced magical paddle ships.
Medubal left the company after it severed ties with Tanukan during the war with Makiano.
Skilled in business, but occasionally known for disappointing customers.
