“I mean, it’s not just ‘look delicious’. It’s really delicious when you eat it too. I called it mutton because the meat is as tender as lamb.”

By the way, mutton was the meat of adult sheep and lamb was the meat of young sheep. 

“So the Lightning Sheep can be eaten, huh… Aoi Kadoyama’s party has defeated it a few times, but we’ve never eaten it before. 〈Without its wool, the boss really loses all of its intimidating presence, huh? LOL〉

〈Wow. The wool that fell to the ground is still crackling.〉

“I’ve eliminated the source of its electricity, so we just need to cut the meat now.”

I said as I began to dismantle the mid-boss’ body piece by piece with my knife. 

“First, the neck. This is neck meat. It has a rich flavor and is suited for minced dishes or stew. Next is the shoulder. This is shoulder meat, known for its rich and robust flavor. And then there’s the loin, which runs from the shoulder to the waist. It’s a tender and high-quality cut, with ribeye cut being the finest among them. It’s perfect for grilled dishes like roasted lamb or steak. Then we have the loin, the latter part of the back meat, which is also one of the highest-quality cuts alongside the ribeye. The rump follows, which is the meat from the lower back to the thighs. It has minimal gamey flavor but it comes with a rich meaty taste. Finally, the leg. This is thigh meat. It’s very healthy because it’s low in fat and high in red meat. It’s rich in collagen and becomes tender when you stew it well.”

The boss was over 10 meters tall, so we managed to get a lot of meat.

I asked Iijima-san just to be safe and Iijima-san nodded while giving me a wry smile. 

“Yay. I can add a new menu with them. Should I add grilled lamb set meal… Lamb stew sounds delicious too…”

I packed away all the lamb meat I had cut and Iijima-san looked a bit exasperated as she stared at me.

It was a storage-type skill, but it had a somewhat unique property to it that allowed me to use it as something more than as a storage facility.
