After rebirth, I confessed to the losing heroine - Chapter 28- Throw it away
“They are getting along pretty well.” Hearing Kaori’s voice, Yuichi couldn’t help but nod in agreement.
Their heads were currently turned toward the other side of the class, as they witnessed the ever-stoic and strict personality such as Miyuki, turning flustered and blushing actively under Hiroto’s teasing assault.
Even though Yuichi didn’t voice it out, somehow, in a corner of his mind he still hadn’t believed the fact that Hiroto and Miyuki had grown closer than before. However, the way Miyuki was reacting to Hiroto’s words and bashfully responding to him, confirmed Yuichi’s doubt.
She was equally attracted to Hiroto.
“I am happy for them.” Yuichi slowly muttered before he heard the door of the classroom slide open and the homeroom teacher walking in.
Everyone began to rush back to their seats. Even Yuichi and Kaori, who normally remain well-behaved in class, had to hurriedly turn themselves toward the front before greeting the teacher.
“Stand. Bow. Greet.”
“”Good morning, sensei.””
“Sit down.”
Just like everyone, Yuichi also sat down in his seat, but suddenly, because of his movement, the paper resting in his pocket dropped to the ground; gaining his attention.
Yuichi suddenly recalled the girl who gave him the chit in the morning and left without a word.
Curious, he opened the letter and read the content written inside,
[Please meet me during lunch break in the back side of the school. Come alone.]
Naturally, Yuichi wasn’t a fool to not understand the intention behind the letter, however, there was something that made him suspicious.
In the morning, when the blond-haired girl whose class was beside his, came to deliver the letter, in place of nervousness there was fear and regret in her eyes.
Even if it was for an instance, Yuichi couldn’t misjudge that look.
‘Regardless, I need to go and answer her truthfully…’ If this meeting ultimately turns out to be a confession, then Yuichi would say the same thing he has told the others in the past.
He currently, was not looking to date anyone. Well, with Kaori it was a different situation but someone he doesn’t actually know…indeed, he couldn’t agree to.

[During lunch break]
For the past four hours, Miyuki has pretty much invested in studies, while entirely ignoring the gaze she felt from time to time from none other.
While she knew that it was childish of her to act in this way, she couldn’t help it.
In the morning when she saw Kaori being clingy to Hiroto, her heart became heavy, and a dark feeling began swirling within.
From what Miyuki remembered, Hiroto confessed his love for her. That clearly means, he is fond of Miyuki and her place in his life is irreplaceable. Equally, Miyuki also liked the warmth Hiroto provided her with. The solace in his embrace was soothing and his presence provided a sense of security to the girl.
Miyuki guessed that this much should be enough for both of them to know, what they could do with others and what they couldn’t.
While Miyuki has forbidden herself to fall for anyone else, she desires Hiroto’s warmth all for herself as well. He belonged to her, that must be a given, no?
The peace she finds in his arms…wasn’t she the only one worth experiencing it? Then why? Why was that girl, all over Hiroto like he was her property? Does that girl think she is better than Miyuki?
‘But would it matter even if she better? Hiroto loves me and me alone.’ Suddenly, a sense of arrogance emerged in her heart as she directed a hateful glare toward Kaori, without even realizing it.
The aura Miyuki emitted currently, easily made the people around her; dash away in fear.
If anyone could dare to approach the girl in her current mood, then it was none other than,
“Are you still upset about it?” Hearing Hiroto’s voice, all the darkness around her, disappeared in an instant before Miyuki hurriedly turned to look at him.
However, soon her surprise turned into a mild frown as she turned her head back to forward and said,
“….throw it away…” In a very low voice, she muttered which urged Hiroto to crouch a little and ask,
“What exactly should I throw?”
While Hiroto’s whole being was tempted to pinch those slightly puffed cheeks, he restrained himself and asked.
“…that handkerchief…throw it…” Hearing those words, Hiroto realized what was the reason for Miyuki’s discontent.
A soft smile extended his lips as he realized how the girl was affected by even such a small thing. While it may seem annoying to others, for him, it was a sign of love.
Without hesitation, Hiroto took out the handkerchief Kaori gave him in the morning before throwing it out of the window without another thought. He would buy Kaori not only a whole bundle of handkerchiefs as compensation but nothing was allowed to make Miyuki displeased.
“Better?” His warm tone flowed like a flute to her ears before a dazzling smile extended her pouty lips—making Hiroto sigh in admiration.
Seriously, how could someone look so beautiful, so casually?
“Huh?! Isn’t that Yuichi-kun?” Suddenly, the pink atmosphere between the two was broken upon hearing one of the students shouting.
Hiroto sighed in slight frustration upon finding his hime’s eyes turning away from him and looking toward the group of students who had gathered around the window; peeking down at someone.
Naturally, Hiroto had to go and see what was happening all of a sudden…even though he already knew the reason for the uproar.
“I will be back.” Taking his leave, Hiroto rushed downstairs and made his way toward the place where many other students were heading.
Once he reached the backyard, the scene in front, surprised him the least.
Under numerous cameras and laughter of students, stood the silver-haired youth, named Yuichi.
‘Finally, the plot is moving in the right manner…’ Hiroto sighed in relief.

A/N:- Miyuki’s character is twisted. Without realizing she might do something absurd in the future so expect the unexpected.
