Chapter 12: Kujo’s Intense Marking
“As you can see, this is a message from Shizuku.”
“You’re not denying the content of the message.”
Kujo stood up from the sofa, grabbed my smartphone, and showed it to me with a serious look.
“Seiichiro-kun, you’re the kind of flirt who can easily make a move on someone you give advice. What a wonderful counselor you are.”
The sarcasm was excessive. Seeing her cheek twitch like that made my chest tighten.
Even if I tried to explain, I couldn’t ignore the situation that had gotten worse.
“I’m the pure type everyone recognizes. Shizuku has a habit of exaggerating. This is probably a misunderstanding on your part, Kujo.”
“Then you should be able to explain what you really did, right? The pure type doesn’t lie.”
I couldn’t come up with the next words. With every statement, I was digging my own grave.
If I didn’t tell the truth, this wouldn’t end. I knew that. I was just afraid of her reaction when I told her.
The pressure was unyielding.
The fear of the moment made me choose the cowardly escape.
“It’s wrong to tell lies that hurt others.”
“It seems like you’re misunderstanding something.”
“What do you mean?”
“What you did with Nogami-san. If I heard about it, I might get jealous, and I could get hurt depending on what you say.”
After a pause, Kujo continued.
“What’s worse is being told unnecessary lies. Deceitful words hurt much more.”
“If I hurt you, then I’m not fit to be your counselor.”
“You understand that, huh. Then, you have three counts to confess. Three, two, one…”
Without considering my pace, Kujo took control of the flow.
At this point, it was over.
“…I reluctantly slept next to Shizuku all night, and in the morning, I fed her breakfast with an ‘aa-n.'”
“Haha, you really said it.”
“If it’s an order, then I’ll speak. My conscience couldn’t take it anymore.”
“Hehe. Thank you for telling me. Now, I can trust you again, Seiichiro-kun.”
But then, her tone lowered.
“But just because you told me the truth doesn’t mean I’ll forgive you.”
Her eyes once again lost their shine.
The distance between us closed, and the conversation began in a whisper.
“If you’ve done this with other girls, I could do it too, right?”
“T-That’s…!”
I had feared this would happen.
It’s difficult to take back something you’ve already forgiven.
“Seiichiro-kun, you’ve treated everyone equally. If you say the sleepover and feeding were accidents, I’ll believe you. But then, I’ll think that girl is being unfair.”
“If you’re saying that, the Christmas date was a special one just for you, Kujo.”
“Christmas is only one day, and you only have one body, Seiichiro-kun. It can’t be helped. A sleepover and feeding can happen anytime.”
She wanted to be favored herself, but when others were favored, she demanded equality.
That was a clear case of…
“Double standards at their finest.”
“Is that so? I want to be monopolized, so I’ll even use the word ‘equality’ as a weapon.”
It was heavy. A troublesome heaviness.
Kujo’s love was different from Shizuku’s love, which came at you directly like a hammer.
Kujo was more like slowly pulling you into a swamp, leaving you unable to move your feet.
“If I’ve done this with other girls and not you, then I won’t be able to monopolize everything about you, Seiichiro-kun. I can’t always be by your side, but I still want to aim higher. Eventually, I’ll have the confidence of being the rightful wife. Once I get that, other women can come close, and it’ll be fine.”
She casually said something incredible.
“With this feeling, it seems I’ll have to finish two tasks before I leave…”
“I have zero intention of going home. If there’s no reward, I’ll get restless.”
It was half-forced. Kujo’s pressure was overwhelming.
First was the sleepover.
What happened with Shizuku was initiated by her, without my involvement.
This time, I would have to consciously do it, and it would be something entirely different.
“I’ll stop halfway. I’ll just roll over beside you. I don’t think it’ll go any further than that.”
“I’ll do my best to hold back.”
“Then, let’s go to my room.”
I led Kujo to my room. It was simple, with just a desk, a bed, and a closet.
I live alone, so it would be just the two of us. Nothing would interrupt us.
“Turn off your phone. I don’t want calls from Shizuku or other girls to interrupt our time together.”
“You’re thorough.”
“I want the best.”
Following Kujo’s instructions, I entered first. It had been a day since I last used my bed. It still smelled like me, mixed with Shizuku’s scent.
“Well, I’m coming in.”
I shifted to the side, and Kujo slid in, surprising me with how noticeable her presence was. Compared to Shizuku, she was taller and had a stronger aura.
She gave off a mature impression, and I unconsciously stiffened.
“Your body’s kind of rough.”
Naturally, she placed her hand on my body.
“I guess it’s from when I did sports in middle school.”
“I think I like it. It feels like a boy.”
I felt uneasy. Maybe it was because our relationship was still new, or maybe I was subconsciously wary of Kujo, who was unpredictable.
“But Nogami-san’s scent is still really strong.”
“Is that so?”
“With this scent, I can’t monopolize Seiichiro-kun.”
“It’s just a matter of feelings. Right now, I’m completely monopolized by you, Kujo.”
“It’s not enough. So, I need to overwrite it properly.”
She didn’t even give me time to resist. She pressed her body against mine, rubbing up against me.
“What are you trying to do, Kujo?”
“Marking. I have to do it thoroughly so it doesn’t get overwritten.”
My whole body felt uneasy. Something hot was rising, making me feel itchy.
“I can’t stop. I don’t want to stop. Seiichiro-kun’s scent is sticking to me, too…”
Her eyes glazed over, and it almost felt like there were whirlpools in them.
“Stop, Kujo. Come back to your senses.”
I put some force into pulling her away. This wasn’t marking. This was just reckless behavior.
“Ha… I can’t stop. Once my engine gets started, I can’t stop.”
Kujo took a deep breath, slowly returning to her senses.
“The feeding is fine now. We both have the scent on us.”
“That was way too intense. I felt like I was in danger.”
“Sorry. I instinctively craved Seiichiro-kun’s scent. It was wrong.”
The image of her as the serious, pure class president completely crumbled. It was too late to go back now.
“For now, no more of this. In the future, of course, too. Excessive displays of affection can turn into violence.”
“I’ll be careful. But it’s hard to control. I’ll head home now.”
After getting ready, Kujo smiled as she left.
“Take care.”
“See you next time. Have a good year!”
She skipped away with light steps that could almost be mistaken for a hop.
