Volume 2 – Chapter 05: Lucky Pervert
I wished I could have said the cliché, “I don’t recognize this ceiling.”
Once again, I had time-traveled, but this time, I not only jumped through time but also space, ending up in a completely unfamiliar room.
Although I couldn’t see anything in the pitch darkness, the soft sensation on my cheeks and the plump texture beneath my hands told my senses that I was on a woman’s thighs. This was a short-term special event called “lucky pervert.” Nice one, goddess.
However, my happiness was short-lived.
“Did you call the nurse, Mika?”
A young man shouted as he burst into the room, likely having rushed in from the sound of the opening door. Not fully understanding the situation, I decided to remain still and not make any impulsive movements. Acting on impulse could sometimes lead to ruin. Haste makes waste, as they say.
Sniff, sniff.
“This guy is a pervert, Saeuchi-kun. Get him off me. Why is he on my legs?”
Sorry, but it’s not my fault. It’s the work of a witch, no, a goddess. It’s beyond my capabilities to prevent this situation.
The woman with the thighs had a clear, pleasant voice. She seemed to be in her early 20s, between 20 and 23 years old. In my current 30-year-old body, she was seven years younger than me. Although there was an age gap, she was still within my target range, as I found the 40-year-old Satou Mari attractive. Well, she might be out of my league, though.
The man who had brought me here must have been Saeuchi-kun. Good teamwork, goddess.
Sniff, sniff.
“Sorry, he passed out, so I had no choice.”
“Sigh… You’re really such a… Usually, you’d take someone to the outpatient treatment room. Anyway, get him out of here and call security, too.”
For some reason, I had lost consciousness—probably due to the goddess’s meddling. Out of kindness, Saeuchi-kun had placed me on this bed, and lo and behold, I had teleported onto this woman’s thighs. Truly a magical, mysterious occurrence.
Calling security would be bad, but I still didn’t fully understand the situation. At the very least, I needed to know who this woman in charge of the nurses was… Hmm? Did he call her Mika?
“Mika! Sakuragi Mika?!”
Yes!
I propped myself up on the bed, pushing myself up from my prone position. Our eyes met. Her expression was blank, contrasting with her rich voice. Her skin was pale.
With my peripheral vision, I took in my surroundings. There was a pale pink gauze sheet, a white bed with wheels, and a clean curtain that maintained privacy. The inorganic white walls indicated that this was a hospital room.
This woman was Sakuragi Mika. The real living Sakuragi Mika. She was to undergo a difficult surgery and was destined to be killed afterward. Perhaps she appeared like an unfortunate beauty because I knew of the misfortune that awaited her. Her paleness seemed to blend into the white walls of the hospital room.
“Yes. How do you know my name? This man is a stalker for sure. Saeuchi-kun, call the police, too.”
“To think you’d leave the bed where I let you sleep out of kindness and crawl over to Mika. What a troublesome patient. Come here!”
“Saeuchi? Saeuchi Yousuke?!”
His name was written on the nameplate hanging from his neck. This man, Saeuchi Yousuke, was the one who would kill Sakuragi Mika. Wait a minute. How were the perpetrator and the victim together in the same situation? Mika called him “kun,” and he called her Mika, and they seemed to be close with each other.. Was this how modern patients and nurses interacted?
“Huh? I don’t remember ever allowing you to call me by my first name. Get out of the room!”
But I was refused. Saeuchi, with strength that belied his frail appearance, grabbed me by the collar and dragged me along. And so, the curtain rose on the second time leap.
Why was I in the hospital? I must have passed out due to the heat or something, and that’s why I was brought here. But why was I in a hospital room?
I turned back to look at the room as I was pushed out the door. Sakuragi Mika stared at me with emotionless eyes. She wasn’t angry. She was simply removing an intruder from her space, her expression as blank as could be.
Now, what should I do? How could I make amends and get her to wear the panties I had in hand? I had almost no experience in fixing bad relationships. Thanks to my fainting spell, I was able to atleast meet Sakuragi Mika, but the way we met was the worst possible scenario. The goddess’s trial was truly something else.
The hallway outside was bathed in soft sunlight. The early summer sun shone through the courtyard facing the hallway. The long corridor was sparsely populated, with patients walking slowly and doctors and nurses hurrying by.
Three burly guards, likely hired for security, approached to capture me.
I could probably escape and run away, but I didn’t want to make Sakuragi Mika’s impression of me any worse, so I decided to remain still and not resist. I felt like a medieval noble awaiting the guillotine.
Thump. Someone poked my back, and I turned around.
“So this is where you were, Akira. You’re like a child who disappears as soon as I take my eyes off you.”
It was Mari. The light behind her wasn’t just from the courtyard sun—she also had a halo around her. She was my savior. Her belly was noticeably swollen—she was pregnant. And the child inside was most likely Sugumi.
“Now, what have you done this time?”
She glared at Saeuchi, who was still holding my collar, assuming I had done something wrong. Well, she was right, but… “This time”? It’s as if I always do something wrong. I’ll deal with your complaints when we get home. Right now, I need your help.
“Mari-mama… I mean, Mari-san. Sorry. I accidentally fell asleep on a woman’s thighs.”
“Don’t call me ‘Mom’ so soon. Were you trying to put on panties on another woman again?”
How does she know?
“I’m sorry. Do you know this man? Is he your husband by any chance?”
“No way.”
“I didn’t think so.”
“He’s… my… son.”
“Your son?! I thought you were siblings or something. My apologies.”
“People often say that.”
Indeed, people often made that mistake when we went shopping together. Well, she was my stepmother. If she were really my biological mother, it would be scary in more ways than one. Mari would have given birth to me at the age of 10 considering my current age.
“I assume you’re aware that your son fainted and was brought to the emergency room, and he caused trouble in the ward where another patient was being treated.”
Saeuchi was bewildered by Satou Mari’s smile. I saw a glimmer of hope in her stern expression. Come on, show me some leniency. The guards were right there.
“I apologize for his behavior. I promise that both he and his father will be severely reprimanded. Now, Akira, bow your head.”
Mari placed her hand on my head and made me bow. She also bowed deeply, trying to make her large belly as small as possible. The two of us, mother and son, showed our utmost humility.
“Please raise your head. Don’t press on your pregnant belly. Understood. I’ll leave it to you, his guardian. Mika, is that okay with you?”
“Yes, it’s fine. I don’t want to be questioned by the police, and I was just trying to threaten him anyway.”
“Thank you very much.”
Sakuragi Mika was actually a nice person.

I must have fainted due to the overwhelming scent of women.
Mari was attending prenatal classes at this hospital once a week. Every week, she would get a checkup for herself and the baby, Sugumi, and also learn some light exercises while socializing with other expectant mothers. Her due date was in two weeks.
Today, she had come to visit a friend who had just given birth, and I had accompanied her as her helper. However, I had fainted due to the strong, distinctive scent of the many pregnant women in the ward.
Saeuchi had kindly placed me on an empty bed, and I had teleported onto Sakuragi Mika’s thighs for some reason. That was the story.
“I’ll discipline you thoroughly when we get home. Be prepared, Akira.”
Scary.
“I’m going to visit another patient, so go home first.”
“No, I’ll stay with you. It must be hard for you to walk with that big belly.”
“No, no. Please go home first, also bring her with you. It’s going to be more of a hassle if she comes with us.”
“Her?”
Mari walked slowly, swaying her hips from side to side. Just ahead was a lounge with a vending machine, and a crowd had gathered there. Patients, visitors, and nurses were chattering noisily.
In the center sat a young woman with her hand raised high, waving at us.
“Mari-san, Senpai. Where have you been?”
“Seriously?”
She was even more adorable than I remembered.
She was Shigamoto Makoto, a popular idol and my junior from high school, two years my junior.
