Chapter 11: The manager gets a revelation

“Fufu~n.”

I turned to look at the monitor at the back of the kitchen in a good mood.

Their seats were in a location hard to see, so a surveillance camera was installed.

“Yes… It is inevitable.”

And it was inevitable that conversations could get picked up by the microphones attached to the surveillance cameras.

I was making sweets while listening to their conversation when they happened to talk about how they had gone back to the countryside and that they were boys that became girls.

Was it about a recent anime they were watching?

Surprised, I took a closer look at the monitor.

There was a small god-like creature sitting next to Magami-chan.

Furthermore, next to Hinata-chan… What is that?

I saw some type of comical creature.

There seemed to be something out of the ordinary going on.

“Manager~ Please stop peeking and move your hands.”

I stopped for a moment to look at the monitor, and the part-time girl saw me.

“Ohh, just in time… Please watch this video.”

“If they are sitting there, it must mean that the manager likes them… Oh, they are certainly a wonderful combination.”

She said a lot of things, but she was also like me.

I knew she would like it… Judging from her reaction, it seemed that she wasn’t looking at anyone by Hinata-chan and Magami-chan.

“It’s the perfect combination of looks, personality, height difference… everything.”

“Why is the manager so proud? By the way… The two of them have beautiful hair. The combination of blond and black are also good.”

Black hair…? 

Weird. Magami-chan’s hair is blond, but where is the black hair? 

Hinata-chan has silver hair… Perhaps it looks different, just like those creatures?

“I would love to see the combination of a tall blonde beauty and a dark-haired lolita become regulars.”

“Please do your best to make delicious sweets so we can make it happen.”

I tried to pull off a trick, and it got accepted as if it was normal.

Apparently, others seem to see Hinata-chan as having black hair.

I finished making the sweets while talking.

“Yes. I’ve put a lot into making them, so please take care of the replenishment.”

“Let’s do our best to captivate them… Ah! Maybe they could get a part-time job in this restaurant because it’s a good opportunity? I think those two would be great crowd pleasers.”

When the part-time leader said those words, it was as if I got struck by lightning.

Hire them both as a part-timer and see them both legally. 

It would also allow us to get to know each other.

The part-time leader then took the leaders I made and left but left me the words from right to left…

How should I draw those two into the store? … Should I blame that mysterious creature as an excuse?

Thus, I decided to go to the table where they were sitting again.
