“Everyone, as you all know, this month is the school’s cultural festival.”

During morning homeroom class. Our homeroom teacher said that.

Every year, in the middle of June, our school traditionally holds a cultural festival.

The teacher asked all the students to discuss and decide what they would like to do for the festival in their available time.

“It was already time for the festival huh?”

I muttered to myself after homeroom class ended.

In an ideal world, by now I would have likely to be dating Tenshin and have a lovey-dovey date at the festival… Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work that way.

“Yuugo. I’ve heard that the school festival is coming up soon.”

Tsukimiya reported happily as she came over from the seat next to me.

“You don’t need to mention it again, I heard it clearly.”

“Uh-huh. Then it means that me and Yuugo will be lovey-dovey soon at the festival.”

“No, that won’t happen.”

Tsukimiya’s blue eyes widened when I quickly replied and screamed “What did you say!?”.

I do not think it is that surprising.

“Look here, you know I like Tenshin. Then why should I be lovey-dovey with you at the festival?”

“It doesn’t matter, does it?”

“It does idiot.”

I lightly chopped Tsukimiya’s head in dismay at her outburst.

By the way, first period class was to move to another classroom, and right now, there was no one in the classroom but me and Tsukimiya.

“Hey Yuugo. Why not give up on that Tenshin Himari sooner?”

“What’s with that all of a sudden…?”

“Because if you think about it, you don’t even know if that Tenshin Himari likes you or not, and as long as I use my divine power, your confession will never reach her.”

No way. I wanted to say that, but I couldn’t when I thought back on the results I had achieved so far. All of my twenty-two attempts at confession had been thwarted, and even this morning I had failed to confess despite my best efforts to avoid failure.

On top of that, this god had played a bathing scene of Tenshin. Although it was a good thing that Tenshin talked to me as soon as we got back to the classroom after that, we might have ended up in an awkward situation.

Currently, I still haven’t found a way to defeat the power of Tsukimiya.

Even so, I have no intention of stopping my confession to Tenshin.

My current goal is to confess my love to Tenshin before the festival, and hopefully succeed, so that I can go around the festival with her as a couple. To do that, I need to somehow prevent the power of Tsukimiya from interfering with my confession.

“And if Yuugo gives up on that girl, you’ll get a godsend of a romantic comedy god. That means you have to move on to the next love.”

Tsukimiya starts talking such things. She really wants me to give up on Tenshin.

“Then in the event that I ever give up on Tenshin, I’ll take Yuno.”

“Ehh!? Th-that’s a no! If you want one, take me!”

Being flustered, Tsukimiya pushed her body forward. O-oi… you’re being too close.

“It was a joke, of course. I have absolutely no intention of giving up on Tenshin in the first place.”

And also having someone like Yuno. If she were here, I’m pretty sure I’m dead by now.

“O-oi Tsukimiya, can you please take a step back from me? You’re too close.”

When I pointed that out, Tsukimiya became aware of it── but for some reason, she didn’t move away. On the contrary, she took another step closer.

“Hey, what the heck are you doing?”

“Fufu… Yuugo. I told you didn’t I? I’m going to make you fall in love with me.”

“Making me head over heels for you… Aah, you certainly said that.”

Ever since the incident at the amusement park, Tsukimiya has been talking about how she’s going to make me fall in love with her and prevent me from confessing my feelings to Tenshin. I’m not sure if it’s possible for me to fall in love with Tsukimiya, to be honest, even if heaven and earth were turned upside down.

“So right now, I’m now gonna put it into action.”

“Eh~, and how do you plan to do that?”

I asked disinterestedly, when suddenly I felt a soft sensation on the back of my head.

“Tte, seriously, what are you doing?”

The next thing I knew, Tsukimiya was hugging me from behind. So, the soft thing that is hitting my head right now was…

“Yesterday, I heard a girl classmate talking. The best way to get a man you like to fall for you is… is to seduce him…”

Tsukimiya’s voice sounds very embarrassed as she describes it. Good grief, what will I do with you?  Really, this superfluous god. And also, it’ll be bad if we don’t move out to the next class.

“Tsukimiya, I beg you, get away from me. Otherwise, we’ll be late for class.”

“I don’t want to. I’ll keep doing this until Yuugo falls in love with me.”

“Stop saying unreasonable things!”

Until I haven’t fall in love with her, will she continue to act like this every day?

I really hope to stop her, but… since it’s Tsukimiya, I’m certain she won’t stop.

If that’s the case, I’ve got no choice but to successfully confess my feelings to Tenshin and become a couple before the school festival.

While Tsukimiya held me in her arms, I made up my determination once again.

After that, I managed to pull Tsukimiya away from me and hurried to the next class room, just in time for the class. Of course, Tsukimiya was late and got lectured by the teacher.

After the morning class, lunch break came. The whole time on class, I was trying to think of a way to confess my feelings to Tenshin without being disturbed by Tsukimiya’s divine power, but unfortunately, no such idea came to mind.
