Prologue

It’s the end of May and summer will be in full swing in just a month.

I was waiting for someone on the school grounds early in the morning.

Normally by now it’s noisy as the club members are doing their morning practice, but today is the day when club activities are prohibited, so there is no one around except me. It was long before school hours, but I wondered if she would come.

As I was sitting on a bench at the edge of the school ground with such anxiety, my vision suddenly went completely dark.

“Wai~, guess who it is, Yuugo-kun?”

At the same time, I heard a woman’s voice behind me. Thank goodness. Apparently, she came.

“Tenshin, right?”

“Ping-pong. Correct.”

After saying such profanity, my vision cleared up. As I turned around, there was Tenshin looking at me with a big smile on her face. Damn. She’s looking too cute today.

“You guessed it well.”

“Of course. It’s me who called you, Tenshin. And besides, how can I not recognize the voice of someone I like? I’m sorry for calling you here so early.”

“I was surprised when I got a text from Yuugo-kun yesterday. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to wake up early.”

“I see. Sorry for that…”

“Nu-uh, it’s really fine.”

Tenshin said with a smile.

“So why did Yuugo-kun call Himari at this hour?”

Well, that’s a given.  It’s to confess my feelings to you, Tenshin. I thought that Tsukimiya wouldn’t be awake at this time of the day and wouldn’t interfere with my confession, so I asked her to come all the way to school early in the morning even though I really felt it was an inconvenience for her.

For all the inconvenience I’d caused to her, this time for sure, I’m going to confess my feelings to Tenshin.

“T-That… I have something really important to say to Tenshin.”

“Kuh! I-I see…”

When I said this with a stuttering voice, Tenshin’s cheeks turned a little flushed.

“T-then, what is it that Yuugo-kun wants to tell Himari?”

“W-well, that’s…”

Then I took a deep breath.

Before making a confession, I always do this to calm myself down.

Deep, large breath. This time I’m sure that my feelings will be conveyed to Tenshin.

That’s why I called Tenshin at this hour. Have confidence in yourself, me.

While giving myself a shout of encouragement, I faced Tenshin.

“Tenshin! A-about you, I l-lik─”

A moment passed, and suddenly a strong light was generated between me and Tenshin.

The white glow was so bright that I could not keep my eyes open.

Not again? While thinking this, I opened my eyes as soon as the light subsided. However, nothing strange happened to me or Tenshin, and there was nothing unusual when I looked around.

Probably nothing will happen this time? I thought so… but it was short-lived. Suddenly, something like an animation appeared from the spot where the white light had been shining earlier.

“Tsu!”

And when I looked at it, my eyes widened.

In front of me was a scene of Tenshin enjoying her bath.

Though sadly the steam hides her womanly parts, I can see that she is enjoying her bath while singing her signature song. It’s really, really cute… tsk, it’s not the time to think about it.

“Y-Yuugo-kun! Y-you can’t… you can’t look any further!”

When I looked at her, I saw Tenshin’s face turning bright red as she held her hands out in front of her, flailing them around. Apparently, she can see this video footage too as well.

“O-okay…”

For starters, since Tenshin asked, I did my best to block my view with both hands. There’s not a millimeter of space between my fingers… Or maybe there was a little. I may have been watching her bathing scene secretly through that gap. I’m sorry.

A few minutes later, the bathing scene disappeared.

「「…」」

The bittersweet, high-school atmosphere that had been there earlier turned into an awkward atmosphere at the same time. It’s all because of that video.

At times like this, a man should do something to give support… Argh, I can’t think of any words to follow up.

“Come to think of it. As expected of our school idol. Tenshin’s figure is the greatest. ”

Still thinking desperately for words, I managed to come up with one and said it with a thumbs up.

“Kuh! T-the greatest…”

Tenshin’s face turned even redder.

Oops, I have said the wrong thing, haven’t I?

“Y-Yuugo-kun… you pervert!”

My thoughts were right on target and Tenshin  ran off towards the school building after she said that. And as usual, I was left alone.

“Sigh… I guess this time is no good either.”

And though I couldn’t see her womanly parts, I still got to Tenshin’s naked body. I’m a little happy about it… I really am the worst.

“Fufufu, Yuugo. I guess your confession didn’t go so well this time either.”

The woman who appeared with a slightly annoying smile was Athena Tsukimiya.

The god of romantic comedy, who is responsible for the fulfillment of human love and the defeat of wrongdoers, the god who has used her powers to interfere with my confessions on numerous occasions.

And this time, it’s definitely her doing again.

“How about it? This time, I showed you an embarrassing scene of that Tenshin Himari.”

“What are you doing here early in the morning? Thanks to you, my confession didn’t go well again.”

When I said that, Tsukimiya proudly puffed up her cheeks. You know that I didn’t mean it as a compliment, right?

“Although my confession failed, I did get to see my beloved’s bathing scene. That made me very happy.”

As I said that in a provocative tone in order to express my annoyance at the failure of my confession…

“Muu~ Yuugo really wants to see a woman naked, huh?”

Tsukinomiya looked at me.

“Ha? That’s not really what I meant…”

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t interested, but I’m not that obsessed with seeing a woman naked.

“I see… Yuugo badly wants to see a woman naked…”

“Oi, can you hear what I’m saying?”

Without responding to words, Tsukimiya mutters to herself, “W-what should I do…?”

Or something like, “If that’s the case, then I’ll…” . I have a really bad feeling about this.

“I-It can’t be helped. If that’s what Yuugo wants, I will show you my naked body now.”

“Hey! What are you suddenly saying!?”

Her unexpected words  made me shout at her.

“Because Yuugo is probably interested in a woman’s body. And also, you saw her naked… so it’s not fair!”

“Saying something like it’s unfair…”

In the first place, you were the one who showed me Tenshin’s bathing scene, weren’t you?

“A-anyway, I’m going to show Yuugo my naked body!”

As soon as she shouted this, Tsukimiya started unbuttoning her uniform one by one.

“He-y, seriously don’t do that!?”

I hurriedly rushed to Tsukimiya’s side and restrained her hands.

Then I managed to stop the out of control Tsukimiya after more than ten minutes.

… Give me a break, will you?

And just like this, Tsukimiya had prevented me from confessing my love all day long.

After Athena blocked Yuugo’s confession by way of showing Himari’s bathing scene.

“W-what should I do? Himari’s embarrassing parts have been seen by Yuugo-kun.”

Himari mutters to herself while holding her heated cheeks with both hands.

After entering the school building from the field, she was too embarrassed to walk and crouched alone at the entrance.

Even though her feminine parts were hidden, the man she loved saw her naked body. No wonder she was so embarrassed.

“But Yuugo-kun told me that Himari’s figure is the greatest.”

Since her makeover last year. Tenshin has always kept her hair, makeup and body in tip-top shape. All of this was done in order to impress Yuugo, her favorite person.

That’s why she’s glad to hear his compliments more than anyone else.

“If he felt a little naughty… then that would make me a little happy.”

Gufufu. Chuckling, Himari relaxes her mouth.

It’s still early in the morning, so there’s no one around, but I’m sure if a student who knows Himari sees her now, they’ll be surprised.

“Mou~, I can’t hold it anymore.”

Then, Himari takes out a handkerchief from her skirt pocket.

It’s not hers, but one that Yuugo used.

She had found it fallen in the hallway about a week ago and borrowed it.

“Fwaaah, Yuugo-kun…”

She placed the handkerchief of the person she loved the most over her mouth, smelled Yuugo-kun’s scent, while muttering his name, the person she loved the most.

Tenshin was ecstatic and seemed to be very happy.

Looks like it will be a long time before the handkerchief is returned to its owner.
