Chapter 4 Part 1
TN: Xean
ED: Chochocobo
TN: Thanks and sorry for the delay. Just got too obsessed with novels and games. Hope you enjoy!
It was the first day of school after the school break, and my morning classes had gone without a hitch. Now all I had left to do was wait for the lunch break.
The sun beat down on me with a brilliant shine as I stood outside near the back of the school building, waiting for a specific woman to approach me.
“Yuugo-kun.”
I suddenly heard someone call out my name, prompting me to turn around and come face to face with a beautiful girl sporting a ponytail. It was Tenshin.
“Yo, yow.”
“Un. So, what’s wrong? Why did you call me here?”
Tenshin asked with a teasing tone, a smile on her face.
“Tha-that… actually, there’s something I want to give Tenshin.”
“Something to give me?”
I nodded my head in agreement.
I had called Tenshin here today in order to confess to her.
“Fu~u……”
I took a deep breath to calm myself down.
Just in case, I surveyed the surroundings with my eyes and looked every nook and cranny as best I could…… Okay. There’s no one here. I’ve confessed my love to Tenshin seventeen times so far.
However, all of them have been blocked by Tsukimiya’s power.
Normally, if I were to admit to my feelings for Tenshin now, Tsukimiya would only just interfere with me as usual, but this time, things were different. I had a guarantee that no matter what happened, my confession would not be interrupted, because this time, I have a 『collaborator』 who’ll support my confession.
That 『collaborator』was, of course, Tsukimiya’s younger sister, Yuno.
Today’s lunch break.
I asked Yuno to come to our classroom and take Tsukimiya away for an arbitrary reason.
This way, Tsukimiya would be temporarily restrained by her sister, and if I were to confess during this time, my feelings would definitely reach Tenshin without any hindrance (whether I will succeed is another story though……). I hate to do this, but I think it’s a perfect plan.
For the record, getting Tsukinomiya out of the classroom during today’s lunch break was what I asked for in exchange for my assistance in improving the relationship between the Tsukimiya sisters.
That was why when Yuno heard about my request the other night, she said it was a bit anticlimactic.
“Te-Tenshin. This.”
The tension was overwhelming, and my voice trembled as I held out a sealed letter.
“Um, this is …….”
“Wo-would you read it for me?”
I asked Tenshin, who seemed a little confused.
“I-I understand.”
With that, Tenma took the letter. It looked like her face had turned a slight shade of red. Nevertheless, I handed it over. Of course, it was a love letter for Tenshin.
This time, I decided to write a love letter instead of a direct confession.
“Th-then, I’ll open it now.”
“O-Ou.”
Tenshin worked on opening the seal on the envelope.
I looked around again, but I couldn’t see Tsukimiya anywhere. It seemed that this time I would be able to tell Tenshin how I felt.
Finally, the day had come. Considering how long it had been— the number of times I’ve tried to confess only to have my body teleported, for it to rain panties from the sky, and even for the words “I like boobs” to come out of my mouth right in front of Tenshin’s face. Despite all of these mistakes, today I can finally tell her how I feel. When I looked back at Tenshin, she was still unable to remove the seal.
“I-I’m sorry. I don’t know what this is, but I’m nervous.”
Tenshin said with an apologetic smile, as if she was concerned about me.
“Don’t worry about it. I may have sealed it a little too tightly.”
“U-Un.”
After that exchange, Tenshin tried to remove the seal again.
However, at that time, a whirlwind was suddenly generated from underneath her feet.
The power was weak at first, but as time passed, it grew stronger and stronger… And then…!
“Kyaah!”
As soon as I heard Tenshin scream, the powerful breeze snatched the letter out of her hand and upturned her school uniform.
The next thing I knew, I saw a pair of cute, frilly underwear.
It was the perfect underwear for Tenshin. It was so cute, that if I wasn’t careful, I might get a nosebleed. As I was getting excited, the wind suddenly died down.
Immediately after, there was an awkward atmosphere between the two of us.
“……Did you see?”
Tenshin held her skirt and asked me with a blushing face.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked up. It was probably the wrong thing to think about during a situation like this, but she was just too cute.
“U-umm…… I didn’t see.”
Thinking words like this, I found myself speaking in a stuttered manner, just like that little sister’s romcom god.
“Tsu!”
A moment later, she must have sensed my lie.
Tenshin blushed even more, and while trying hard to hold back her tears.
“Yuugo-kun’s a pervert!”
After saying those words, she quickly left the place.
“…… Haha. Seriously?”
I was left alone and could only laugh bitterly.
What a failure of a confession. What’s more, I can’t believe I saw Tenshin panties. It was the worst case scenario.
Hap…… Well, I was a little happy.
A sudden gust of wind that blew across the rooftop.
…… I don’t need to think hard to figure out who did it.
“Yuugo, looks like your confession did not go well this time either.”
A voice came out of nowhere…… Seriously, where did it come from?
“Above.”
When I looked up, I saw Tsukimiya slowly descending towards me, with pure white wings growing from her back.
For some reason, there was a shiny ring on her head that looked like an angel ring floating around.
Go to discord for unfiltered ones
“Whoosh.”
Tsukimiya landed on the ground while uttering these words.
“Hey, Tsukimiya, I have a lot of questions for you. …… But first, what’s up with that look?”
I asked her, pointing to the wings and the halo.
“This? This is my true form.”
“Your true form……”
“All gods of romantic comedy are born this way. In the classroom, I hide this form so that I can fit in with the human world.”
“I-Is that so? …… Anyway, it wouldn’t be good for someone to see us like that, so if you can remove the wings and halo, please do so.”
“U-Unnn. I understand.”
When Tsukimiya responded, the wings and halo suddenly disappeared.
“You, aren’t you having lunch together with Yuuno?”
“Yes, that’s right. I was eating lunch with Yuno on the roof.”
“Then, how did you know I was going to confess right here?”
That’s right. This time the plan was that Yuno would take Tsukimiya out of the classroom and then I would call Tenshin and confess to her.
So, Tsukimiya probably didn’t even know where I was, let alone that I was going to confess.
So how did she know that I was going to confess in the back of the school building during lunch break?
“That’s because I always know where my Yuugo is.”
“My location? ”
“That’s right. And not just Yuugo. I also know the location of that woman named Tenshin at all times.”
“…… So does that mean Tsukimiya knew that me and Tenshin were in the back of the school building during lunch break?”
To answer my question, Tsukimiya nodded widely and said 「Yes」.
“The gods of romantic comedy can locate every person they have ever met at any time so that they can focus on supporting the same person’s love life day after day.”
“What the heck is that ……”
“You still have more weird powers besides that magic wand?”
So she knows the location of every human she’s ever met. That’s why Tsukimiya found out about my confession.
If she found out that Tenshin and I were in the back of the school building during lunch break, she’d definitely think it was strange, right?
I understand why you were able to interrupt my confession. However, there’s still one more thing I want to ask.
“Ask whatever you want. If it’s Yuugo, I’ll be happy to answer even if it’s something naughty.
“What makes you think I’m going to ask you something naughty in this conversation?”
Also, you don’t have to say anything like that if you’re going to turn red.
“What was Yuno’s reaction when you tried to interrupt my confession?”
“Yuno? Yuno didn’t say anything.”
…… That little- Why did she not stop her? Doesn’t she know it’s an emergency.
“Yu-Yuugo. Well, if you want, do you want to have lunch with me together with Yuno?”
I was thinking about this when I received an invitation from a blushing Tsukimiya.
The nerve of her to say such a thing after interrupting my confession.
“Rather than that, you have sauce on your mouth,” I said, pointing to Tsukimiya’s lips.
She had probably rushed here to stop my confession. I had noticed it ever since the start, but I had put off pointing it out in favor of listening to her talk about the wings and the halo.
“Tch! Wh-What is it?”
Tsukimiya started to panic and tried to clear the sauce around her mouth. It was a refreshing sight to see.
“Oi, why did this happen?”
I asked Tsukimiya to leave, saying that I needed to talk to her sister alone (though she resisted quite a bit …… ). I called Yuno to the back of the school building using e-mail, and immediately questioned her when she appeared. Needless to say, it was about the conversation I just had with Tsukimiya.
“What do you mean?”
“I didn’t know that the god of romantic comedies could track people’s location.”
“I also didn’t know that. I don’t know anything that I didn’t know.”
“Well, that may be true……”
Oh, well. That’s not the point. What really matters is the next one.
“Also, you didn’t try to stop Tsukimiya when she tried to interrupt my confession, did you?
“What up with you, what’s wrong with doing that?”
“What you did was no good. Please stop her.”
Someone is trying to interrupt my confession right in front of you, and you didn’t stop her? Are you really my collaborator trying to help me confess?
“Because all I’ve been asked to do is take nee-san out for lunch during lunch break.”
“Even so, it would’ve been nice if you could’ve been flexible about that.”
“I don’t want to do that.”
She just shrugged it off. I’m getting more upset.
“You know, I helped improve the relationship between you and your sister in order for you to help me with my confession. Can’t you help me out a little?”
“Well, that may be true, but……”
Then Yuno trailed at her words. What’s wrong with her……?
“Maybe you don’t want my confession to succeed?”
“Tch! Wh-Why do you think so?”
“Because, you don’t seem to be very supportive of my confession…….”
And then, Yuno deeply sighed as if she had given up.
“Y-yeah, that’s right. I don’t want Yugo’s confession to go well.”
“You don’t mean that, you’ve fallen in love with me?”
“Of course not! It’s different from what you’re thinking!”
She denied me with all her might. That hurt me a little.
“It’s just that, I don’t want to see my beloved nee-san sad. That’s why I don’t want your confession to go well.”
I see. This made sense. In the end, Yuno was a siscon no matter which way you thought about it.
“Anyway, I won’t help you with your confession anymore, and I won’t even listen to what you have to say.”
